Sara snapped her head towards the girl that was being pushed towards her and in turn moved towards the girl, only to watch as she swerved away. She felt that pang in the center of her chest. It was the feeling of—well, she wasn't really sure. Her cheeks were a deep red, not of embarrassment but of the anger. Raquel always did this crap to here. Always pushed her to the edge. Always seemed to know how to grind her last nerve. She looked towards Leo. He was older, but she frankly didn't give a crap. And was this chick getting into her little conversation? Stupid little girl. Thought she had the right. SHE D--
"MIND YOUR OWN FREAKING BUSINESS!"
She glared towards Leo, her nostrils flaring.
“Shut the hell up!” She snapped towards him, taking a step towards him as she felt a hand make contact with her own. The hand grasped her wrist and at that moment before she could even finish yelling at the older know-it-all student, she lashed back at the person behind her that had thought it was okay to grab her. Her fists made contact with Justin's face, and he fell back from the sudden impact not expecting it from such a small girl. It was then that Jen caught Sara's eyes, just as both turned to see what had just happened. Jen came towards Sara, and within seconds something that had already been pretty bad turned worse. Sara stood her ground as Jen thrust her hand towards the girl's face aimed for a powerful, and yes, pretty angry slap across the face. Justin wasn't able to react in time to stop her as the sound of flesh against flesh was heard.
It was on.
Sara launched herself at Jan. And Raquel let out a squeal of amusement, moving towards the girls, wanting to—She paused as she saw two girls. One had a coconut. An arched eyebrow and she moved towards the nearest girl, the one with the coconut in her hand. She grabbed not for the fruit but for Lyk's hair, attempting to get her into the fight. As she made her way towards the girl she pushed along the crowd, running through like a maniac with a goal. After all, where had the only teacher just gone?
Where indeed.
Marty fell back as he was shoved by Raquel, knocking into some of the tables and actually sending one of the tables a few inches back, the chairs tumbling after. A few other students had done the same, finding themselves in a pin reaction of gravity against closely impacted forms.
As the fight had gone into full blast, Oz had turned around at the sound of something unfamiliar. She came to view one of her students being pulled in by one of her staff, and she quickly moved away from the fight, hoping that the boys could calm the fight down just enough to get the trouble down enough for her to step in. Oz quickly bent down next to Sie, looking him over before looking up at Ren, wondering why he wasn't shifting back when she remembered the clothes she had found outside just before she had made it to the cafeteria to take over for another teacher that had been hurt in the storm. She bit her lip, and quickly moved away to grab the clothes and move them wet items towards whom she assumed owned the actual clothes.
“I need your help.”
She said nodding towards the students, “I can't jump into that.”
She couldn't afford to get hurt at her age. So instead she kneel at Sie's side, putting a blanket under his head while moving to wrap him in another. She felt for a fever, her eyes full of worry.
"Take this kiss upon the brow... and in parting from you now. Thus much I avow... you are not wrong to deeem."
She spoke softly to him as if a mother speaking to her child.
Trent nodded his head and went back to his music without as much as a word, and simply a gaze that meant, You're quite attractive, but I don't want to hear that shit, so maybe we can talk later.
And then as the thunder stuck. It was loud and echoing through the room as if telling them that this wouldn't end good for them. As if saying the fight was only the beginning. As if saying this storm was going to get the best of them, and the pencil that had once belonged to Skii went flying into the crowd and landing on a young man's face. (He's going to be unnamed NPC#1, we'll call him Jerry.) Jerry let out a yell and clenched his teeth. Having already been pushed, after already having been soaked and pulled into a building he didn't want to be in, he lost his temper. And with that a punch was thrown into the crowd of people. And within moments it was like reaction against reaction. People within the school began to get quite “feverish” with a temper that had caught on between them all.
It seemed when all hope might have been lost, one security guard and two male teachers came marching in, one with a big whistle blaring though it could hardly be heard over the storm.
I won't be here for about 4 days. So, feel free to have some fun with this!! Just if you're reacting with the NPC's be reasonable. I will allow for some Godmodding with them, but please, be reasonable. <3 Though, for those not in an actual fight with the NPCs, you can always take some unnamed person and knock them in the face or something! Just have fun at it.
BUT, do remember hitting a teacher could get you in a lot of trouble, and in general <3 Let's try and keep it realistic as possible! Given that Ren is the only teacher that's not NPC, he has control over their actions for the time being.
PM me IF:
You are willing to be a bigger part of this plot. I need three people that are willing to take part in getting hurt, might end up being pretty badly, but nothing that's too life threatening unless it's your choice to do so. Now, as said before, everyone in this room will get hurt, if not now for obvious reasons and more to come, but they will mostly be small injuries. But, I need three specific people to pm me that would like to get in this. I have 1/3 slots filled thus far.
-Yahtzee
((To NORTH: You have control over Anja, she's pretty much just trying to get out of the way, she's non-violent.))

There was only madness here -- no thought but the impulse to cause as much damage as possible; Lelaina hated it, hated every single part of this animalistic side that everyone showed whenever the damned moon turned blue. It didn't matter to her that there was a hurricane rocking out over their heads, that there was tension built up on fear -- it was their lack of control that she detested, that bothered her the most. The seal inside of her squirmed like a tape worm, a disease that struggled to invade her health and her mind one little inch at a time; with pleasure, she pressed the creature into a corner and locked it there. No way in hell she'd let that monster out. No way in hell, Lelaina would allow that thing to show on her face; to have that anger and hunger reflected in everyone else's eyes on her own. She would remain as she had always remained: carefree and energetic.
Better to be smiling and laughing, than to be fighting and angry -- than to give in to this disease which had them clawing at each other's face, tearing at each other's clothes. Leolyn forgotten, Lelaina let go of him before giving him a chance to reply; there was only one thought in her head now and that was survival. Better to be out of everyone's way than to let them try to draw her out and anger her. It wasn't possible -- she was conceited enough to know her control was nearly perfect, that the hunger that knotted in her belly even know was under complete control. The animal was muzzled, the world was safe.
It didn't matter that the cafeteria was becoming chaos, a battle between humanity and animal narcissism. It didn't matter that there were those who were possible looking to hurt her, to try to tear off that joking calm she wore on all the time -- none of it mattered. She wouldn't have a part of this. Lela had tried, in her own way, to calm the fight down, to bring them together against one common foe that could take a few hits before going down, but it hadn't worked. Instead, she was faced with this disgusting display. So she clutched at her ball, tension running up the lines of her arms as her eyes darted from side to side, skipping over the unfamiliar faces until she found one that she recognized -- Marty, pushed to the side, over onto the table.
Worry painted her expression beautifully, a display of artistic talent that she adored as much as it went unnoticed and unacknowledged. Lelaina was an actress, and this, the world, was her stage; she moved through it as if the whole of her life was dedicated to that one role, that one little slip of the tongue, that idiocy that made her lurch forward toward Marty. "Are you okay?" she asks breathlessly, cocking the ball against her hip and offering him a hand up; she didn't look around -- it wouldn't do if she appeared t o be more aware than she should be. The role she played required sacrifice, required pain and bruises to tarnish her skin.... but it was alright this way. This was the normal way to live -- as if the animal inside of her had never burst free, as if she were truly only human. She offers to help him up, dropping the ball to the floor and stopping it with her ankle and the toppled the table. One hand ran through her hair, a habitual motion that she approved of.
With a helpless sort of grin, she hauls him to his feet, looking over her shoulder briefly at the madness behind them as girls smacked each other, as hair was pulled and screams bordered on animalistic. Hiding her disgust with worry, she asks, without really needing an answer, "Now what?"

PRENTICE 'REN' URBAN THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EXTRA LIFE HERE * Ren growled lowly when someone came up to the boy his blue eyes narrowing in menace at who ever it was. Wet items dropped in front of him his mind taking a few moments to identify what they were. Wet clothes. His clothes if he were to be completely exact which he had left outside before shifting. The growl eased as that same person knelt beside the rabbit-shifter by now his mind had already connected who it was. He watched as Oz carefully knelt beside the boy he had dragged in some part of him glad that at least someone would be taking care of the kid.
Such noise... He looked towards the fight almost absently half wondering if she was actually serious about him jumping in there. He shifted on his paws watching as things just seemed to get worse in the confines of the thing. Like ripples from the original fight. Ren looks back at Oz for a moment, a look that just screamed. 'Fine but you owe me for this.'
With that he started off, almost creeping, along the nearest table obviously choosing to stay in his tiger form while he tried to deal with a bunch of students content on beating the living day lights out of each other. His ears pressed back against his skull at the pure noise as he got closer to the fighting group of people. Reassessing what he was going to do about this bloody fight now that there were at least three others who were going to be helping him. Still, though, he was the closest to the group so it seemed he would have to make the first move.
He jumped up on to one of the tables once he was reasonably near to the group, ignoring the students sitting at the table for the moment, and moved along the top of it. As soon as he was close enough, by his estimations, to do what he had planned. Luckily the group of people suddenly lost their footing and went down just bare seconds before he jumped in to the crowd. It was pure luck that the place he had landed was clear, really, and the space large enough to fit his body.
Back on all four paws and surrounded by people fighting he turned in a circle. Snarling at them, teeth perfectly visible, he circled again watching as the people nearest to him stopped rather startled at the large cat suddenly in their midst. And he could, thankfully, hear the shouts of the other teachers as they reached the fray as well. [/blockquote] ---------- Tagged: Subplot Board. Outfit: His... Uhm... Tiger form? Ethan's day had been going pretty slowly, at least for him. His ADHD was bothering him, but it was always doing that. There was nothing for him to really do, he didn't want to chance going outside, it looked like a bad storm was brewing.
He wasn't sure what type of mood he was in today, whether it was solitary or not, but he actually decided to wear something specific, not just throw anything random on. It wasn't like he really cared what he was wearing, he just felt like picking something out. Wouldn't his mom be proud.
Scoffing at the thought of his mom, he hesitated to put on his shark's tooth necklace, it was weird, considering he was a shark himself, but thought it would look cool with his outfit, and since he normally didn't care about that kind of stuff, he decided to go all the way with it.
He pulled on his shoes as he left his dorm, grabbing his lunch box as he went, already having put some sushi and...cantaloupe? He forgot what he had put in it besides the sushi, he just knew it was some type of fruit though, something he rarely ate.
His walk to the cafeteria was slow going, he was in no rush, and when he arrived, he wondered if he should have came in the first place. From what he was seeing, it didn't look like things were going to well, so he dodged around some of the trouble, heading toward a girl with an apple.
He passed a girl that was writing, and a teacher he had seen before, but never talked to. He passed a lot of people, a lot of people he knew, he'd been there ever since he'd first shifted. But he hadn't seen this girl, no, he would have remembered her.
It wasn't like Ethan was the type to be vain, but he had to admit he was instantly attracted to her. She didn't look like every other girl at this school, and his curiosity was instantly piqued as he wondered what she was doing with the apples.
He walked to her, leaning up against the wall where she was sitting, and opened his lunch box, finding out that he had packed some cantaloupe with his sushi after all. He popped a small piece of sushi in his mouth, then ate a couple pieces of cantaloupe, trying to ignore everything around him. Well, everything but the girl.
Ethan found himself staring at her, or at least he felt his gaze going back to her. He put the cantaloupe and sushi back into his lunch box, adjusting his necklace and then he looked at her, wondering what her shift was.
“I'm Ethan,” he said with a smile, hoping for a response, she was really cute. He added, “Mind me asking what you're doing with the apples?” wondering if any conversation would spark, even though he was horrible at flirting. [/blockquote] {Tag: Everyone! Word count: 496. LIFE on the WINDY Side Selah looked up at the guy, Ethan, who had talked to her. She felt like an idiot, separating apples during a storm. But, she was already doing it, and it helped keep her mind off of the wind and the rain…so she took another bite of her apple. She patted the spot on the floor next to her, inviting Ethan to sit next to her. She didn’t want to have to look up at him the entire time she spoke. She laughed slightly, trying to make sure she still had the storm blocked out. “I’m trying to keep my mind of that stupid storm,” she ran her fingers through her still wet hair. “It’s something to do. And it’s no better than what they’re doing,” she gestured in the general direction of the fight, still wanting to join in. “And…it’s always fun to see someone’s reaction to this,” she threw the apple in her hand as hard as she could at the wall across from her. And she smiled when it hit it with a satisfying crack!. She got up, ignoring the pain in her knee that she had forgot was there, and went to retrieve the apple from where it had landed on the floor. She felt like a lunatic, throwing apples. But it was fun, and kept her mind off of the storm and the fight. She sat back down in the same spot she had sat before, looking at her other three apples. She was slightly mad that she had thrown the one she had been eating, but she decided it was worth it. She wasn’t that hungry anymore anyway. She looked at Ethan, trying to make out what he looked like. The storm made it hard to see. She could tell his hair was blonde, the right shade of blonde for his skin tone. She saw that his eyes were lighter….either gray or a pretty icy blue. He seemed to be tall, tall enough anyways. Selah couldn’t help but feel like she was analyzing him…but something about him made her want to get to know him. She wanted friends at this school, since she had never really had any friends. She closed her eyes, still not used to talking to people, still not used to having someone talk to her. She opened her eyes, and, for the first time, she could actually feel them changing to a bright, almost yellow, green. She smiled slightly, glad she still had the storm blocked out and that someone was talking to her. “I’m Selah, by the way, Selah Belle Madison,” she blushed feeling stupid that she had said her full name, and hoped he didn’t see her cheeks turn pink. She broke eye contact with him, still slightly embarrassed. “Want to throw an apple?” She smiled again, not knowing what else to say…not really wanting to say anything else. She was content with throwing apples if it kept her mind of off that storm. And so she picked up an apple and outstretched her hand toward Ethan. The girl patted the ground, motioning for Ethan to sit down, so he did; he could see her eyes better from the floor anyway. Adjusting his position, stretching his legs out in front of her, he looked at her, and prepared himself for an answer.
“I’m trying to keep my mind of that stupid storm. It’s something to do. And it’s no better than what they’re doing. And…it’s always fun to see someone’s reaction to this,” this girl said, and then she threw an apple at the wall opposite them. His face broke out into a grin, that looked really fun, and he was surprised at himself; he didn't normally like things that didn't have to do with water.
She got up, and walked over to get her apple, and he frowned a little as he watched her; she seemed to be...limping? He wasn't sure, maybe it was just his eyes playing tricks on him, but she looked like she was in some kind of pain.
“I’m Selah, by the way, Selah Belle Madison,” she was speaking to him again, and he smiled slightly at her, smiling at how she introduced herself with her full name.
“Are we going by full names?” he teased, and he was surprised again at himself. He wasn't he type to tease, he was so straight forward most of the time. This girl was really having an effect on him, he wasn't sure what it was, but he thought he kind of liked it. It was nice to take a break from his normal personality every once in a while, but he didn't want to lose himself completely, so he guarded his facial expression. He added, “If we're going by full names, then I'm Ethan Michael Daniels--” insert slight laugh here, and he continued with, “--and it's nice to meet you Selah.”
“Want to throw an apple?” Selah said, smiling at him, and held an apple out towards him. He found himself reaching for it, and he stood up once he had his hand around it, barely touching her own hand as he did so.
He smiled at her again, and he wondered if it were just his mood today. He wasn't sure, but he wasn't in any hurry to find out for once. Standing once again, he joked, “Here goes nothing,” and he threw the apple...only to find it veering off into the direction of the fight.
Embarrassed, he sat down immediately, hoping no one saw him screw up so badly. It was hilarious to him, he didn't know why, he had just made a fool of himself in front of Selah, and he found himself laughing a real laugh. He hadn't done that in a while, he had really only chuckled since he came here, but this was a full out laugh, at himself, but still. It counted, right?
“God,” he said, shaking his head. “That was horrible--” insert chuckle here, and he continued with, “I'm more coordinated in the water, but let's just hope that no one but us saw that horrible aim of mine.” Ethan found himself looking into her eyes again, they seemed to change like his own, but looked away quickly when he felt like he was staring. LIFE on the WINDY Side Selah watched Ethan throw the apple, and horribly miss. It flew into the crowd, and she couldn’t tell who it had hit. “God, that was horrible. I’m more coordinated in the water, but let’s just hope that no one but us saw that horrible aim of mine.” Selah held eye contact with him, and ignored his comment about being more coordinated in water. She didn’t like water, actually she hated it. She couldn’t swim, and she didn’t want to know how to swim. But, she didn’t hold that against him, she knew everyone could have their own likes. Although, she didn’t laugh at his bad aim. Running her fingers through her slowly drying hair, Selah contemplated something. She didn’t know if she should, but she wanted to. Without any further thought about the issue, she picked up the harder of the last two apples with her right hand. She tried to tell if Ethan was looking at her, but she wasn’t sure. “Aim is just focus and when you throw it,” she smiled shyly at him, “see?” Selah tossed the apple into her left hand.
She ran her right fingers through her hair, wondering if she should show him. She didn’t want to over-explain it, but something, possibly the storm, made her want to show him again.
She leaned closer to Ethan, who was on her right, and grabbed his left arm. She didn’t noticed if he had resisted or not, but either way she didn’t really care. She placed the apple in his left hand, hoping he didn't mind. She turned his arm so that his hand was in the correct throwing position.
“Focus on what you want to hit,” she tried to find something on the wall, “l-like that poster in the middle,” she tried not to stammer while she was talking, she wasn’t used to touching people, or really even talking to them.
She especially wasn’t used to being this close to a guy. She could practically hear her heart beating, and she was afraid he could hear it to. She didn’t know why she was feeling this way; she had never felt this way. She looked up at him, trying to see whether he was looking at the wall, but she quickly turned her head back before she could really tell. The only thing she noticed was how bright his eyes looked. They were the most deep, crystal blue she had ever seen. She wanted to get lost in them, but she didn’t want to stare.
Selah took a deep breath, “Are you focused on what you want?” Selah tried her best to ignore the suddenly loud thought that told her how warm and comfortable his skin felt. “Now, you just pull your hand back,” she pulled his hand back with hers, made sure she had complete control on when his fingers would let go, and let their hands move forward in one swift motion. “Then, we let go,” she smiled as she loosened his fingers just at the right time for the apple to hit the right spot on the wall, right in the middle of the poster.
She laughed after it hit the poster, still glad that it was keeping her mind off of the storm. She watched the apple hit the floor with a pop, and was about to get up and retrieve it. She was about to, until she noticed she was still holding on to Ethan’s arm. She turned her head around, and looked up at him through her eyelashes. She felt a slight blush come to her cheeks as she stared into his bright blue eyes.
“Nice shot,” Selah slightly smiled, as she become conscious of how close her face was to his.
Part of her wanted to turn away from him, let go of his arm, and go get the apple; but the other half, the stronger half, wanted her to keep looking into his brilliant eyes. She bit her lip, and tried not to focus on how hard her heart was beating, or how it felt to have her hand wrapped around his.
