This is a board-wide event thread that all that wish to enter, may come. There are 6 NPC's that will be played by the Yahtzee account. Anyone may interact with these characters, but let it be known that you may not God-mod them. Feel free to act as if they have been friends your entire stay there. Or enemies. Or maybe you just met them and take a seat next to one or even help a fallen comrade and his girlfriend.
But forewarning, any that may enter will expect to be hurt or injured in some way or fashion at least because the Yahtzee account makes the event come to place within the thread. You will not know of this event until it happens, so please do not ask. The main event will be announced after a page or two of posts, or less, depending how much activity we get, we will announce what is to happen. Beware your timeline.
Your character may easily know some of the NPC's including Dr. Oz. You may decide their relationship as soon as your character enters by putting it in your post. There will be no “boyfriends” or “girlfriends” of the characters, but there can be any other relationship you think your character might have had with the NPCs. They have been there since Freshman year and most are known around the school with some sort of reputation.
If you have any questions about this thread then PM Shaggy. Dr. Oz:
Justin:
Trent:
Sara:
Raquel:
Jen:
Marty:
Justin lay bored inside the cafeteria. It was pretty silent but there were a few people that had found themselves within there unsure of really what they were doing. He seemed to be the only one of his group of friends that was there. Laid back kid that he was, he decided to text a few of them as he lean back in one of the chairs, her long hair flipped back and forth as he managed to keep himself up with subtle movements of his body. He was bored to say the least and the young man, going by the name of Trent wasn't much better for ware. A teacher had called in some students she had found outside in the storm playing around in the water as if it was something small. Justin and Trent thought that had been pretty stupid and had actually been pretty close to each other, giving each other a nod as they both ran from the rain towards their dorms where they hoped to keep boxed up until all this rain and wind was gone.
Neither of them really knew how bad it was going to be, but it had gotten worse since they had all been put into the cafeteria. Trent gave Justin another nod as they looked at each other one last time with that “What the hell is going on here? I want to go to my room.” Kind of look, but neither of them spoke. Two different people that could have easily been friends at a different time sat next to each other as if there was nothing going on outside, bored and quite possibly a little unhappy by the humidity that had brought itself into the school with each opening of the door. Trent put the headphones over his ears, and within seconds he was lost to the world itself secretly in the music of great Mozart. Though everyone assumed he was into the same things he was, he let them assume.
Sara stared towards Raquel. There was a look of disdain on both their faces as they had been placed at the same table after a little argument after Sara had obviously pushed Raquel. At least that was Raquel has said, because as soon as Sara had tried to back her own story up the other girl had attacked her and pulled her hair. It seemed even Raquel could get catty at times like these. Oz had only assumed that both girls were pretty scared and working if off through teenage angst. But really, they just hated each other and it was going to stay that way until hell blew over or one of them died. Really, they each hoped the other died, as terrible as that sounded. They weren't really known for being great people anyway. Not like Trent and Justin at least. In fact, it was as if those two group of people were split from their own groups and thrown into a cafeteria full of people that didn't really need to be together. As if tonight was going to be the opposite of a good night, like the music in Justin's earbuds had began to play. Tonight's going to be a good night! Doubtful Justin. It's cold and it's wet.
It was only minutes earlier that another young man followed by another girl came in. Oz greeted them and put the blankets over their shoulders to keep them warm from this terrible rain. The young man had to have been a super senior or something of the sorts. His name was Marty and boy was he a goof. If you knew him, you knew that he was just about the nicest and probably stupidest guy you could have ever met in your life time. He was the type to do anything for laughs, and this time he had ran out into the storm to scare a girl who happened to be Jen, actually. Jen was Justin's girlfriend. They liked the double J thing. Her name was really Ashley but it seemed to work out better when you had a similar name to your boyfriend. They joked about changing it to Justina. But that just seemed silly.
Jen wasn't very happy as she walked out, taking the blanket kindly. It had been Marty that had jumped out to scare the crap out of her during the storm, and there she was after having chewed him out in the middle of the cold rain as she had been looking for her promise ring to Justin. It would have been gone still if she hadn't started crying and Marty had gone into “guy mode” as he so fondly called it and had looked high and low for that ring. Jen had forgiven the scare once it had been found and suggested they find shelter, and they had pretty quickly because that storm got real bad, real fast.
Jen spotted her boyfriend pretty quickly and ran towards him with a gleeful squeal before sitting on his lap. It wasn't that long before they both went falling back from the sudden shift of weight. With a thus they knocked into Sara's chair and her neck snapped back towards them with a glare that might have killed by a single look.
“What the hell?!”
She got to her feet. It wasn't long before Raquel grabbed the girls wrist.
“Sto--”
A turn and a slap and a fight was on in the middle of the cafeteria in the middle of a hurricane. The rain beat against the building and wind wailed.
What a chaotic mess. Oz would have loved it if it wasn't a fight between her students. And thus she got close but couldn't find a way to break them up.

Just simply by the touch of the rain against the roof or the beautiful sight of raindrops dripping down a pane of glass. It was as if—well, it was as if a slump had gone upon her shoulders and painted her depressed. Maybe it was the fear of being thrown into something she had never been thrown into before. A life or death situation that had turned scarier than she had meant it to be. Maybe she felt more than anything that she had disappointed herself in letting it happen in the first place. Anja could imagine her father's words. We learn from our mistakes. She took another sigh and she was out the door. She moved quickly from her dorm and to the cafeteria. She was sure she might have been stuck in there longer than she was supposed to be, if the storm got any worse and well, it was pretty bad. A hurricane? She didn't know. She didn't own a TV, nor had she gotten any kind of newspaper. She needed to. Maybe they had seen this coming or maybe they hadn't. But there was something out that which terrified her. Maybe it was the fact that a tree had snapped. Maybe it was the fact that the storm had hit so quickly. She held in her arms a blanket, that she threw over her head as soon as she got into the rain itself. A few school books and a borrowed encyclopedia that one of her roommates had been using for research. Wrong edition for Hurricanes but she was hoping for something in the weather section. She made it to the cafeteria quickly just as lightning struck pretty close to the area. She flinched, stopping as she saw Dr. Oz who had a blanket in her hand. The blanket seemed to fall to the ground as she heard the yells and the sound of flesh hard against flesh. A slap across the face was what came to her eyes first as she saw the two girls going at it. She moved towards the fight as if it were a magnet, unsure of what she should do. She quickly text Lyk. Hungry. Fearless or stupid? Did it even matter when they were simply two different faces, back to back on the same coin? The same face, yes, yes, but it wasn't simply a thought, it wasn't simply a decision. Lelaina was at once fearless, at once stupid, her morals and her loves twisting together into one pantomimed performance that could, at will, earn her a gold medal. She laughed, she smiled, she ran -- ran hard, ran fast, indifferent to the storm that crashed around her. Yes, better to call her stupid, than to admit there was courage in her actions; better to assume the worst than to dig under the skin a little and see the greatness that created her. This mask was useless, but she adorned it time and time again, preferring the indifference, preferring the way the eyes slipped off of her face, the way they teased her, bullied her, made fun of her: it didn't matter in the end because she knew, yes, she did. Completely aware of the whispers, completely in awe of the performance danced before her very eyes as the tongue becomes the thing which lies, the eyes that shield the soul -- or perhaps it is the soul which has been corrupted, always, forever.
Rain falls hard and heavy, refusing to give in to time. How many days? Lelaina didn't count -- it was too annoying, too bothersome to even try to. Better to just let it rage around her, better to let the wind whip through her short-cropped hair; yes this was better, hah, hah, this was much better than sitting in her room, in watching as the windows cracked and bent, as the trees swayed and danced before her, yearning for the crash, in love with the crash.
The ball slipped and moved, skidding across muddy paths that had once been filled with grass and flowers; now there was only mud, now there was only puddles that sank up to her ankles -- the ball was floating most of the time, but still she found joy, still muddy and dirty and cold, Lelaina was smiling; she was gleaming in the midst of this darkness, a diamond set off by the sunshine inside of her. She was without worries, in this extended moment of blissful selfishness. Mud streaked across her face, stiffening up her hair though rain washed it away; though the mud was embedded in her tank top, though sand was gritting between cloth and skin. Lelaina was being rubbed raw and chaffed from rocks and little debris slipping up against her skin but there was nothing here she was willing to give up; this play, this game, she kicked the ball and chased it, kicked it up in the air and trying to catch it as the wind picked it up and threw it against the walls. She ran, she fell, she skidded, but she was laughing, more happily than she had since she had left Oceanside.
There was something absolutely perfect about soccer, something that drove her crazy with happiness as she chased that stupid ball; yes, this fearless girl, this utterly stupid girl, playing around during a hurricane, getting scraped and bruised, thrown to the side by wind.... others were smarter, hiding in the cafeteria, but she did not heed the call.
Lelaina ran her fingers over her face, pushing her short hair back as she squinted through the rain, finally feeling the burning numbness; adrenaline and endorphins spurted through her, deluding her, masking the truth: she could sicken in this weather. Lela snorted, shaking her hair out like a dog though only moment later she was drenched again; wiping her mouth with her forearm, she reached down and grabbed the soccer ball, propping it up against her hip. A teacher was waving maniacally at her, angrily -- slugging through the rising water around her calves, she approached, wincing at the professor pointed angrily toward the door. To the cafeteria it is!
Shoes squishing, she was like a leaking faucet: every step water gushed out of her sneakers, dragged down her socks and her basketball shorts. Free hand scrunching up in her shorts, she held them up, shaking her hair out again, running dirty, grimy fingers through it to keep it from her face; she grins when she comes into the cafeteria, "WOOOOOOO!" she shouts, jogging in, her shoes squeaking, but she was smiling beneath the water, beneath the sand and debris stuck to her skin. But everyone was moving, shifting their attention -- and with it, so did Lelaina, her eyes flicking to the side, her chin rising as she moved to her tip toes, "what's going on?" she asks no one in particular and jogs off before getting an answer. No one here would know anyway. Everybody who knew had a front row view; she pushed her way through, her height giving her a bit of leverage over most of the girls, her slenderness over guys as she squeezed through the masses, forcing herself to the front. "Oh. That's lame," she mutters, hip cocking as she holds the soccer ball between her hands. "Hey, you!" she throws the ball hard toward one of the girls' faces. "You're acting stupid, stop it already."

I'll be stuck, fixated on one STAR ---------------------------------------- This damned hurricane was going to be the death of him. He was sure of it. He was absolutely positively sure, that this hurricane was going to kill him. Maybe not the hurricane itself, but he was going to get a concussion or die of starvation. The tall dark haired male was currently curled up under his bed, which was his usual for storms, though he had never been any where near a storm of this magnitude. Every time a loud sound happened, for instance the tree outside snapping or a strike of thunder, he would try not to jump and hit his head against the bottom of the bed. Though if Tony had been there, then he would have been not under his bed. Speaking of which, where was his room mate? He peaked out from under his bed and looked around the room. Gone. Maybe the cafeteria? But that would mean going outside in this killer storm. And he was hungry to boot. "Frick." He squirmed out from under his bed, which he had cleaned to make sure that the dirt wasn't going to stick to him, and stood up. Though out of pure habit he brushed his white t-shirt off and his jeans. He walked over to his dresser, threw on a dark blue sweater, and then his brown leather jacket. The boy chewed his lip in debate, eyes watching the storm outside, before his stomach grumbled in protest. "Alright, alright. I'm going. But if we die, then it is all your fault." He said staring at his stomach. He put on his socks and brown work boots before grabbing his keys and leaving, locking the door first. "Now lets not get lost." He mumbled to the empty hallway as he started his trek to the cafeteria. Maybe he ought to get a map of the place, that would help. Though after a few more days he should be able to find his way with out an issue. He managed to make it to the doors leading to the outside with out any sort of trouble, besides occasionally flinching with thunder. He took a deep breath before opening the door and walking out. The first thing that surprised him was the amount of noise. There was noise everywhere. The rain slamming onto the buildings, the trees, the ground. The wind was blowing the rain in every which way, the leaves on the trees were almost like thunder by themselves, that was until he heard a real shock of thunder. It rumbled and he ducked as far as he could against the ground, hands over his ears, but that didn't stop him from feeling it vibrate up through the ground and his body. Which was when he booked it, his fight or flight instinct told him to run as far as he could. He didn't really choose a direction, but there, there were people, which meant that it was safe. So he ran in that direction, all athletic muscle, dripping wet, looking panicked. It wasn't until he was close enough did he see that it was the right direction, and that there was a professor handing out blankets at the door way. He slowed down, and walked up, panting hard, and looking completely pathetic, big blue eyes begging for some sort of reassurance, or a towel, and he flinched watching the slap. "What's that about?" He questioned, momentarily distracted. -------------------- When the world is crashing DOWN -------------------- anything to say?♦♦NOTES♦♦who's this wonderful post for?▼▲TAGS▼▲clicky♥♥OUTFIT♥♥how many words?¶WORD COUNT¶what were you listening to?♪♫MUSE MUSIC♪♫√√COPYRIGHTS√√Thread template created by: Dymetri Colors by: Color Blender

A seal had a want and love to swim. All she knew was that she felt it, it was a feeling in the pit of her stomach that made her want to sing and live. Her lips parted as she let out a swift breath and closed her dark eyes. Though hurricanes didn't want to make her sing and live, they wanted to make her hide! Penelope loved the water. Primarily because it have everything such life. Everybody needed water in order to survive. People needed it, everybody did. Whether someone was a human or a mutant they all needed water. It was like a common link between everything that was alive.
Animals had to drink. Fish and aquatic animals needed it more than anything. Plants needed water too. The young woman smiled gently as she thought about it. It was beautiful and life giving. Everyone needed water. Penelope happened to drink a lot more water than she did with food since she needed it to live. However, she didn't want to go out into the hurricane. Stupid, hurricane! She couldn't swim. Why couldn't she swim? Because there was a hurricane and she couldn't go out and play or swim at the beach! She wanted to go to the beach or the pool. The pool room was always warm which was probably why she liked it. It was one of her favorite places next to the green house and beach of course. Especially the beach, though she was stuck in the cafeteria.
She didn't often go there unless she had to. Which was when she was eating, she did like to eat of course almost everybody did. But she wanted to swim not sit in the cafeteria. However, she wasn't stupid enough to run outside to put herself in danger. She pouted as she sat in the cafeteria, she had actually been heading out to Flamingo Lawns to go visit the fountain. It was probably her third favorite place but she didn't want to visit it at the moment, it was too dangerous. She hoped that her very pretty fountain wouldn't be hurt or hit.
Brushing her auburn hair over her ears the young girl pouted feeling upset and a bit alone. She didn't want to be alone. Where was Tony? She wanted to have him here, she hoped he was okay. Hopefully, he wasn't asleep somewhere dangerous.
Penelope frowned as she sad quietly for once feeling more than a bit blue. She pouted and she toyed with her hair until she heard something, it had to do with stupid girls of course. She perked up when she saw--was that a girl fight?
Bleh, her nose crinkled up as she sat at a table before she stood up. Placing her hands before her she watched, not wanting to move in and get clawed at. She glanced over to her side when she heard a new voice, "Girls being girls, I suppose." That was her best answer.

Oz remembered the last fight she had tried to stop all those years ago. Even before Ren had come into the school itself. It had been one of those fights that had ended with the teacher getting hurt because she had no idea what she was doing, and there Oz found herself in another of those predicaments. She couldn't stop the two girls, and it seemed within those few seconds as the boy, Justin had fallen into the girls, it had become an all out brown. Oz frowned lightly. She was fretting in the back of her mind, her hands around one of the blankets that she had pulled out for them. Her arms wrapped around the blanket and she hugged her own chest, unsure. She paused only when another girl, a very noticeable girl came forth. Lelaina. Oz bit her lip. That cou—Oh no.
Marty was just moving towards the spectacle, his eyes having lost Jen, the girl he had come in with when the crowd had gone forth. He too went forth with the act of what Oz might have called society, pushing Marty to follow the others. As Lelaina had shouted Marty turned his head to see the girl, and he gave her a quick nod, imitating the same yell that had been made from the small girl's lips.
"WHOOOOOOOT!"
A smirk appeared on his face as he pumped his arms, but he stopped as the ball from thrown and knew pretty quickly just what was about to happen. Being the Super Senior, he knew these people better than some might, and though he liked to appear clueless. But he knew about Sara's temper, and it seemed as soon as the ball hit her face, Sara had that look upon her face that meant she meant business.
Meanwhile, Jen and Justin had brought themselves to their feet, a smirk had only shortly appeared on both their faces when they realized that it had been them that had caused the fight. Jen quickly moved away, being the more meek of the two, she looked towards him expectantly. Justin knew he was going to have to do something to stop this or he was going to hear about it tomorrow. And well, he really didn't want to hear about that. What was it with Polar Bears anyway that made them nag so much? I mean, get him right, he loved his girl, but—Well. He took a sigh and went towards the two girls, grabbing Sara's wrist as she had been thrown back by Raquel, just moments before the ball had hit her in the face.
Sara's eyes went dark, and Raquel backed up for the moment a laugh escaping her lips as she looked towards Lelaina. Dumb girl. Raquel said nothing at first, but decided a snarky comment might just send that little b**** Raquel over the edge, and thus with that she turned to look at Sara who had paused, her chest heaving for a moment to get ahold of the situation.
"Hey Sara, I guess you like taking balls to the he--"
Raquel laughed hard as Sara came back towards her, having already whipped her hand away from Justin, who had in turn been hit in the shoulder. She was only digging herself deeper. Raquel backed up, and with that, she took a step behind Lelaina. A simple whisper escaped her lips.
"Your turn."
With that quick movement, she was behind the girl, and within a few seconds later her hands were on her back pushing against flesh. Sara was coming towards them both while Justin came forth in hopes to grab one of the girls to hold them back.
Oz took a step forward, her hands twisting in the blanket.
"Girls! NO!"
She bit her lip, pausing as she saw Leo, she quickly moved through her students stopping next to him. She noticed Justin, and knew he couldn't do it alone.
"Help him?" She said pleadingly towards the boy.
Trent stared forward, a cock of the eyebrow as he saw it all occur. He hadn't even bothered to help Justin to his feet, and though he was near Jen, he did nothing but stare forward. It was only a few moments before he picked himself from the seat, taking a new seat next to the only person that seemed just as calm as he did. He nodded towards Skii, giving her a hand.
“Sup?”

I'll be stuck, fixated on one STAR ---------------------------------------- The soaking wet male blinked at the scene in front of him. What exactly had happened here? There were two main girls trying to beat the crap out of each other, a guy involved but being shoved away. He stood there, kind of in dumb shock. All he wanted was to get some food. Think about it Leo. It was all about panic. Here were a bunch of students trapped in a small place, with a major disaster on the horizon. They were all slightly panicky, which made already bad tempers flair up. Not to mention a lot of people were wet, and more people were coming in. This was going to be a disaster. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking it out a bit, trying to dry off and not get hypothermia. He doubted people would be appreciative if he just stripped off his clothes. He did take off his jacket and sweater, however, placing them by one of the tables. Those layers didn't keep his white shirt from becoming a bit wet, so his abs were slightly visible. How to best stop the situation? He watched as one girl tried to interrupt with a ball, and that didn't seem to work and then she got thrown into the mix. Raquel shoving her into another girl who was being held back by the guy that had started the fight in the first place. This was a crazy mess. He was interrupted from his thoughts by the teacher, the one that was going to teach Psychology this up and coming semester. He gave a brief nod before walking near-ish to the group and yelling. Hopefully that would get their attention, long enough for him to help sort everything out. "HEY! KNOCK IT OFF!" He yelled, with as much authority as he could muster up. He crossed his arms, looking around at them. "Come on, leave innocent bystanders out of this. If you're gonna fight take it outside." He added as an after thought. "I mean, honestly. You're all mature semi-adults right?" He questioned. "That doesn't mean you get to punch one another for some stupid reason. That's pathetic." He added, hoping his tactic of, being the bigger enemy would pay off and get them to shut up and maybe listen to some reason. "I seriously just walked in here, so if you guys would kindly take a moment to cool off, and explain what happened. It'd be much appreciated. And honestly, don't make me go and send you guys to separate corners, like /children./ You're better than that." He didn't really want to get into a brawl with these people. He'd be outmatched, even with the muscles he had. He might be able to handle one of the girls, but if someone else stepped in, it was going to be a complete disaster. Thankfully he wasn't close enough to be shoved in it, and maybe he could be the voice of reason. Maybe...Just maybe, this could be solved with out any one else getting hurt. -------------------- When the world is crashing DOWN -------------------- Leo, the soaking wet voice of reason♦♦NOTES♦♦Everone in the cafe▼▲TAGS▼▲-too lazy for outfits.♥♥OUTFIT♥♥522¶WORD COUNT¶Commercials♪♫MUSE MUSIC♪♫√√COPYRIGHTS√√Thread template created by: Dymetri Colors by: Color Blender

x Lyakios's phone vibrated against her leg, begging her to give it the attention it desperately wanted. In a bad mood because of the weather, Lykaios yanked out her phone and whipped it open. She squinted as she tried to read the text, walking clumsily as she did. The wind pushed her around, laughing at her. Trees leaned in the wind as she passed, dancing frantically. She quickened her pace, heart racing. This day had been bad enough. She didn't need an uprooted tree to help her realize that. The wind kept blowing her hair in front of her face, and she had to keep pulling it away. It was a losing battle, and it only irritated her more. Hungry. In the cafe, but there's a fight.Lykaios reread the text again, curiousity getting the best of her. She picked up her pace. No fair! Here she was, in hell, and Anja was witnessing a fight. Really? she texted back, her fingers skimming over the keyboard as they tapped out her message. I want to see the catfight! It is a catfight, right?Take lots of pictures, a video would be nice to. I'm heading over there. No hurricane is going to stop me from seeing a fight! Lykaios shut her phone and dug it back in her pocket, thankful she had unlimited texting. It really did pay off. Coconuts dropped off the shaken palm trees, rolling around like tumble weeds. Lykaios bent down to the ground, grabbing one as it went by. Carrying the coconut in both hands, Lykaios made her way up the beach. Sand flew all around her, getting in her hair. Her feet slipped as she went, but she was determined. At last, after several minutes, she saw a dim light in the distance. It had to be the cafeteria. Tired, Lykaios stumbled onto the pavement. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the lighting inside the cafeteria. Lykaios didn't have to look hard to find Anja. It was then she also saw the fight. A smile crept unto her face as she saw a teacher frantically trying to calm two angry girls. This would be amusing. Lykaios made her way over to Anja, which proved to be difficult because of the crowd. "Look who decided to show up. Coconut?" She held up the coconut to Anja, her eyes still trained on the ongoing fight. This was going to be good, she could tell. There's nothing like a cat fight to take your mind off of a brewing hurricane.

She had her problems -- who didn't, after all...but they hadn't nothing to do with interaction. Nothing to do with being misunderstood and lonely; there was nothing in Lelaina that would ever feel awkward about reaching out to other people at the most whimsical need. She was without peer when it came to talking, when it came to breaking everyone's shell; friends, enemies, she didn't care what she made, as long as they were made, as long as they were yet another pair of eyes that recognized her existence. Oh, no, she had no problem at all in this situation; she had come with the mere purpose of being out of the rain, had come with her energy, had come with her stupidity raised high; a front to the world who knew nothing.
But she knew, yes, she did -- she knew what would happen the moment she hit the girl with the ball, knew the anger that would spark, the idiocy that would follow. It was impossible not to know, to see the lines of thought that went through such a simplistic girl. But that didn't stop her; hah, don't' you get it yet? She was an actress, and this was her role: to be pitched up against those who thought they could beat others down. She was the warrior, the legend, the little myth covered up in the truth -- there were things that should never be done, and then there was simply Lelaina, standing there, muddy, soaked through with her boyish hair, and her charm on full throttle; less like a girl, more like some hick come spitting on your shoe, wanting your attention.
It didn't take long for the other to explode, for the world to become nothing but pandemonium -- hah, this little act, this little play they would put on for others, it was almost fun, and it made Lelaina smile, ever so slightly; her eyes followed Raquel, taunting the downed beast, making Sara irate when there was no point in it. Without speaking up, she watched, seeing without showing, knowing without ever telling -- she could see what the other girl was trying to do: another form of bullying, this. Lelaina had a lot of experience with bullying; knew the way those cruel eyes sliced over her skin, the way she ducked behind her back and pushed her forward. She didn't want to fight -- didn't want to hurt someone who was too blinded by emotion that they probably couldn't see straight. What was the point? Why fight when they could be having fun? The play was spiraling out of control -- Sara coming forward like a monsoon, the power of her anger, her outrage turning Lela into liquid.
Slightly shifting, Lela felt the floor squeak with her shoes -- where had her ball gone, anyway? Girls, NO! -- so desperate this call, voice strung out from fretting; Lelaina turned her head slightly toward the professor, her lips turning ever so slightly, thinning out in a hard line. No? No? With a silent breath, Lelaina fell back on her toes, watching the littlest motion from Sara as the girl approached -- she wouldn't attack, not with the teacher all frazzled and worried. No, not with that teacher telling her not to, stressed out from their play. Without looking behind her at the treacherous girl who had pushed her forward, Lelaina bounced to the side with alacrity, the tip of her toes curling over the soccer ball, forcing it to backspin up in the air as she flicked her foot under it's spinning and kicked it up. "My turn for what?" she asks, feigning oblivion -- but there is no point to it because a hero is on his way, puffing up his scrawny chest; she grins, catching the ball in the crook of her ankle, balanced on one foot.
HEY! KNOCK IT OFF! Lela wonders if anyone is listening, her head tilting slightly to keep the water from her eyes; running her fingers through her hair, she shifts her weight, centering herself. Come on, leave innocent bystanders out of this. If you're gonna fight take it outside. I mean, honestly. You're all mature semi-adults right? That doesn't mean you get to punch one another for some stupid reason. That's pathetic.
There is a pause, as he gathers himself; Lelaina kicks the ball up again and catches it, cocking it against her hip I seriously just walked in here, so if you guys would kindly take a moment to cool off, and explain what happened. It'd be much appreciated. And honestly, don't make me go and send you guys to separate corners, like /children./ You're better than that. Hopping over to this nameless boy, she cracks a grin, and slings an arm around his shoulders, " I like you, you're pretty awesome, you know that?" She holds the ball in the palm of her hand, raised up on my her finger tips. " You really saved me from getting beat." jerking her chin up so her wet hair gets out of her eyes, she smiles at Sara. " Friends, hm?" she goes to offer her hand, but realizes she has nothing to offer, " Well, I'd offer the ball but you probably had enough of that," and she laughs, whimsical and almost indifferent. Post by Amy Delilah Gray on Jul 20, 2010 17:12:30 GMT -4
Amy nodded somewhat absentmindedly at Selah, in full agreement of her view on the storm. This was bad; really bad. She had never seen a storm like this. I mean, they had their bad storms; they were on an island after all, but this was just out of control. She swore she could see the windows bowing against the wind. She could only hope that the plastic tubs she had stashed her books and important stuff in would hold out, if her window in her room were to bust. She loved having the bed next to the window, but really? This was just insane. She was starting to have doubts about being here anyways; the storm was starting to really bother her; it had all but crushed her outer shell of happiness she normally held. She reached up, rubbing one of her arms as the stared out at the darkness that seemed to swarm outside. Her hair was still drying, her clothes were still wet, but she was very thankful she was inside; even if she questioned the safety of the place. The student talked again, bringing Amy out of her thoughts. She turned her unnatural eyes back to her, trying to smile and failing somewhat miserably. ”Yeah. The dorms didn’t seem too safe to me either. I think being stories up in the air is rather illogical while there is a hurricane outside your window.” She tried to chuckle, but it was short-lived and rather pathetic; if she said so herself. She turned her eyes back to the girl, again attempting at a smile. If she was one thing, it was determined to try and lighten the mood... even by a little. ”Well, welcome to the academy; even though this probably isn’t the best situation to be in your first day here. Photography is awesome though. I like to snap a few pictures here and there, but I’m not good enough to major in it. Might I ask what your first choice was, though?” She tried to keep her tone light, to try and keep her thoughts off the storm. If she returned to thinking about it, she would start pacing again; and she knew she would. She started to turn away from the girl, when the apple flew past her and she jumped. She could feel her eyes dilating as she tried to focus on the abject as it flew past her, and then looked up when she heard it collide with the wall. She watched as the girl stood up and retrieved the apple, only to throw it again; this time having it splatter against the wall, and some of the students. She cringed, but smiled slightly, a small giggle escaping her lips. ”I don’t think they are going to be too happy with you; you know that, right?” She stated, but her tone was light, filled with her normal joking tone. She smiled at the other girl; and that was about the time all chaos broke loose.
She jumped when she heard the shouts, her head turning to focus on the center of the attention, and noticed instantly that it was all too close to where she had been sitting before; where her laptop was still sitting. Her eyes narrowed, and she could feel her muscles tense before she darted for the machine, catching it as some of the spectators bumped her table. She caught the thing before it fell; quickly shoving it and the other small things she had left on the table in her bag, before she jumped back. Her eyes watched the other students for a minute, her eyes following the fight as it broke out. The small spell of happiness that had overcome her fear was gone, and now she was calmly {a little too much so} walking over to Selah. She dropped her bag by the wall, glancing at the other student. ”Well, you can honestly say it doesn’t get boring around here.” She smiled faintly before turning back to the crowd, shifting from one foot to the other. She shouldn’t get in the middle of it. It didn’t involve her. She couldn’t just stand by when one or more innocent bystanders could get hurt though, could she? No; that was something she couldn’t allow. Besides, it got her mind off the storm. The storm was something that she couldn’t do anything about. The fight on the other hand; that was something she could do something about... right?
She glanced to Selah, then back to the fight, then back to Selah. ”I’m going to try and get the people away from the fight; or at least keep the center of attention from injuring anyone.” her tone was bland, and slightly strained. She turned back to the scene though, making her way to the crowd, and eventually weaving her way through it. She wasn’t the tallest person around, and in all honesty the enclosed space was one of the last places she wanted to be at right now. She was claustrophobic, and being squished, pushed, and shoved into people was not her idea of staying away from close space. She made it through though, without passing out. That was a start. When she reached the front of the crowd, she bit her lip. Amy watched the ball fly into another girl’s face, and cringed as the impact hit. More anger, so much more anger. Threats were thrown around, another bystander shoved into the fight, some tall guy walking in and trying to break up the fight. He seemed to think this was something logic could fix... he didn’t know girls very well, did he? Well, he didn’t know shifter girls, did he? This was like a fight for territory; it wasn’t going to be talked through by logic. The only way to end the fight was if all the girls involved were restrained, thrown into separate rooms, and left there until they went insane. Girls held grudges; something guys seemed to not understand in the least bit. This wasn’t going to something you could talk them through. Despite the situation, she let out a small chuckle. How did these things start? She never saw the point in dealing things out with fists. This was a place for shifters; if you had a score to settle, you settled it with tooth and claw. She frowned, and then stepped out of the ring of bystanders to walk over to the guy that had spoken up; keeping her eye on the fight as she did so. ”This isn’t something you can solve by logic. You’ll only get dragged into the fight too...” She muttered, turning her head to the fight. It didn’t take an expert to see that she was readying herself in case one of the people involved decided to charge at them. She wasn’t an martial arts major for nothing, after all. She wasn’t just going to charge in there blindly though, either. No; that was the worst thing someone could do right now. She glanced at the girl with the soccer ball, then back at the scene. Oooh, this was not going to be good. She had a feeling she would have at least one new enemy before all this was over with. Such a joy, no? Normal Talking

SIEFFRE DE SAUVETERRE * I'LL MEET YOU ON THE O T H E R S I D E
Be safe.
The two words stared back at him from his computer screen almost mocking him it felt like. His Fathers words almost seemed bleak telling him to be safe when he had already been so far beyond safe it was no where near amusing to any one. A fall in the ocean had lead to sickness and in sickness he barely moved from the dorm room that was his. Thin hands lifted to limp hair shaking slightly at the mere thought of drowning yet again. There was no way in hell he ever wanted to experience that again, ever, the breathless emptiness that came with a persons mind shutting down as their body took over. Hands twisted in his hair as his eyes slipped closed again taking shallow breaths to try and fend of the outrageous weakness he felt while merely sitting on his bed.
Listlessly he tilted his head to the side eyes skipping over the bowl of soup that someone... That Zander. Had dropped off but Sieffre himself hadn't touched it regardless of what he had said before. Not that he was prone to lying it was just he didn't want any one else to worry about him about it. A breath came out like a cough, dragging what little air he had in is lungs out, stalling him for several minutes as he struggled to breathe again. To stay awake long enough to get something that could be considered food in to his system. Anything other than sleeping away alone in his dorm room pretending that he was perfectly healthy and that such massive over sleeping was not a sign that he was probably getting worse rather than getting better. With a soft groan he closed the laptop and got up from the bed.
His clothing was mostly plain, again, merely a pair of black jeans and a heavy black sweater. Even with the heavy clothing he shivered on and off just during the short steps that were needed to carry him from beside his bed to the door of the room. The first step out of the door battered him drawing a pained gasp as he huddled against the door. Trying to figure out exactly which direction it was he wanted to go in. It was a bit like the first time he'd ventured out in to the hurricane weather. His clothing was stuck to him moments after walking out the door. So like any logical person he sped up, even if it made breathing painfully laborious, trying to ignore the stabbing driving pain of attempting to breathe heavily, not running but walking faster.
It was so sudden he wasn't even sure what in the world had happened. One moment he was walking in the direction of the cafeteria the next he was on his back. Pain sang through him running up and down his spine. Gasping he hit his elbow against the ground as he curled his body up on his side. Curling around the pain and just attempted to breathe through the sudden new pain and half wondering what in the hell had hit him. But more pressing was the creeping darkness that meant he wasn't quite getting enough oxygen back in to his system.
There was a sound of a light growl some where above him. A large black paw coming to rest beside his head, claws pressed against the ground, before he felt a cold nose against the side of his head. A nudge and another soft growl from the large cat. A black and white tiger he realized after a few moments, with it's head close to his, growling lightly and still nudging him. Attempting to convince him to get up and move again.

Serenity had been going for a run around the school, she was slightly annoyed at the rain, and the thundering, and the lightning, and the thunder, especially the thunder, the thunder really scared her, she hated it, it always scared her, the loud noises, much like gun shots, she hated it, too loud, it startled her, she loved her running, and she was annoyed at her poor excuse of a roommate that she had just earlier met. She was worse than she was on the bitchy scale, and Serenity could get pretty bad. Which was weird, though later the girl softened and she somewhat had learned how to play poker, she would have to thank the girl for that.
She had already promised herself that she would buy the girl a laptop if they ever got on better terms, right now they hated eachother, and for reasons she didn't know, the second they met eachother they were going at eachothers throats, which was kind of sad, she loved animals, but she couldn't understand what was happening with her during storms, even Thunder her horse liked to act up enormously. She just guessed it was her horse nature.
She was running towards the cafateria, so she was guessing, she still didn't know the layout of the school and she really didn't care, she just needed to run, to relax, if she didn't relax she would freak out and shift and kick something, something really hard, that was how she was, so she was trying to finish up good. Trying to keep her temper down, she looked ahead and saw a weird looking, large cat leaning over something, her instincts told her to run, her human nature told her to go figure out what was happening now, she knew she had to go find out what was wrong.
She sprinted over to them, she was nervous, her eyes said so, but she couldn't help it, she would fight herself to figure out what was happening, it was the least she could do, she was cruel to someone already, she had to see if she could help. That's all she could do, if she was going to forgive herself for being so cruel to her roommate, repetence was good. She knelt down instantly seeing the barely concious to unconcious boy.
"We need to get him moved."
She looked at the strange tiger, odd colors for a tiger, but she couldn't help it, she would help this boy, even if it meant being upclose to her fears, maybe she'd learn that cats weren't that bad, maybe. It was a long, long, long shot. She instantly went to check his vitals, her hand reaching to touch the spot on his neck where the pulse was generally the strongest.
"His pulse his fast."

Post by Prentice 'Ren' Urban on Jul 20, 2010 21:15:57 GMT -4
PRENTICE 'REN' URBAN THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EXTRA LIFE HERE * Perhaps he should have been afraid of the storm just like several people he had seen were. But if he had been afraid there would have been no way that he would be out looking for students in his tiger form. The sharper senses allowed him to herd more students a good deal easier. Even if the rain was deafening and pounded ruthlessly at him it was easier that way. And faster on four legs rather than two. Sharp fangs seemed to almost glint when he paused to yawn as he tried to listen for any noises that might be any more students dashing about in the hurricane for play. Teenagers had always seemed to think they were invincible. Not that Ren had ever been much different nor was he now.
Ears shifted slightly, the large body shifting to four paws rather than sitting, he took off bounding towards a distant half heard sound. It had sounded like something breaking and crashing down, like a tree finally giving up a branch to the storm, but just to be safe he decided to check it out. Once he was there, however, it was apparent it was a very good thing he was out in the storm in the first place. There was a fallen branch, off to one side, but that was unimportant compared to the other thing that was there. A student.
Ren padded closer to the student, it took his mind a while to realize that it was a male, and from the weak scent who ever this student was they were ill... Really ill. He pressed his head against the boys, even through his utterly water soaked fur he could feel heat, inhaling the scent. Rabbit... He growled lowly and nudged the boy trying to get him up so at the very least he could carry the kid back to the cafeteria on the back of his tiger form. If worse came to worse he could always shift back to his human form. Which would probably be rather awkward for several people. He nudged the boy again with another low growl.
Just when he was seriously beginning to consider shifting to his human form and carrying the boy the general rules of society be damned when a girl suddenly came up. She dropped down beside him with a few muttered words, distant words, that took his mind several moments to even process. He made another growling noise and her comment, of course they had to move the boy to some where safer than the middle of the school grounds, but he lacked the hands and she lacked the strength to carry him. A quick glance to the rabbit-boy's face showed that the kid seemed to be mostly out of it entirely.
It took a lot of doing for him to be able to properly communicate, or at least interpretively communicate with Serenity. But with her help, and a good deal of struggle it seemed, they managed to get the boy across his back. Even if he didn't weigh a whole lot it was really quite uncomfortable to have someone thrown across his back like he was some sort of packing animal. It threw his own balance off too, making him stumble when he pushed up against the weight to get back to his paws. Gritting his teeth he pushed through it, even if it wasn't painful, moving slowly back towards the school and trusting that the girl had enough sense to follow him rather than just leave him with the ponderous weight of another being.
By the time they got back to the cafeteria he was panting lightly, there was no way this particular body was meant for carrying much of anything other than with his teeth and dragging it, sweltering under the heat of the sick child. At least Serenity had stuck around and opened the door. He made sure to get farther in to the room before letting the boy slide off of him, as gracefully as possible, now that he had gotten the boy to safety he wanted to shift back to his human form.
Ren growled lowly when someone approached him, and the unconscious boy, showing fangs as well. It was overwhelming to be in such a full room in his animal form, and unless he was really lucky, no chance of being able to return to his human form. So he just settled down with a huff his entire body aching and watching every one who happened to get a bit too close for his comfort his tail twitching every now and again. If only he had the foresight to realize he would have eventually ended up in the cafeteria. [/blockquote] ---------- Tagged: Subplot Board. Outfit: His... Uhm... Tiger form?
