She sighed softly and waited outside the restaurant for Ryland. It was weird, they had only just met and now they were going to lunch together, well maybe not weird just. Exciting? Noella blushed a little bit and looked down at her dress which was blue, her shoes which were blue. Blue seemed to be her color of the day since that’s all she seemed to want to wear was blue. She did that went she was nervous, sometimes she would dress up in the same color to try and distract people from herself. It never really worked since she was covered from head to two in the same color, most people stared at her. Shifting a little bit she sighed softly. She looked from street to street for the male. Did he ditch her? Maybe he didn’t want to show up? A small wave of hurt crashed over the girl when she thought about the possibility of the male not wanting to really go out to eat with her, it was her who asked anyway. He said yes, but he didn’t have too. Maybe it was pity, since she told the male no guy has really ever liked her like that. Who knew?
The girl pursed her lips out and was about to give up, she watched many people walk by and so far. No Ryland. She was at the right place, and the other knew where it was so why was he taking so long? The only thing that kept repeating in her head was that he didn’t want to come and see her. That’s all she could think about, he didn’t seem he was like every other boy she had ever met. Getting her hopes up and just crushing her all together. Then again, Noella did over think things. Right now she felt like crying, stupid girl. Why would she want to feel like crying? It was a nice day and Ryland would show up, he had too. He promised her. She nodded and patted her cheeks gently, telling herself over and over again in her mind that he would show up, he wasn’t not allowed to show up! Huffing softly the girl moved side to side, she didn’t even noticed she was getting looked at by other guys walking around, no all she wanted to think about was Ryland. Where he was, what he wanted to eat, what would they do after. All of that stuff. He was the only thing on her mind right now. Ryland.

Outfit: pants, shirt Ryland hoped he wasn't making her wait too long. Mainly because he wasn't sure if she would just go in or wait outside. But luckily, even though it was warm outside, it was cloudy and the wind was blowing some. Yet, he was still wearing t-shirts and pants. That was his favorite type of outfit, even though he owned plenty of shorts as well. He had dressed in a dark purple shirt that had "University of Los Angeles California" on the front of it, black slim jeans, and his usual white sneakers. People always tried to argue with him that wearing black when it was hot outside was a bad idea. But he never listened. Besides, he had already established before getting ready that it would be a cloudy day with light wind. His last girlfriend didn't like him wearing slim jeans at all. She broke up with him just because he wouldn't stop wearing them.
"Hey, sorry I'm late!" he apologized as he saw her waiting in front of the restaurant for him.
Well, he thought he was late anyways. Maybe she was early, but he was there now. Ry pushed his hair down as the wind blew and made it stand up. He walked over and smiled and gave her a hug. He had resolved that morning, that even though they had just met and were still getting to know each other, that he would be himself. That was the best way to get to know someone.
"I had to take a shower before I came, because I had been outside all morning."
She probably couldn't tell because his hair had already dried between the heat and the wind. He had tried not to rush on his way down, so he wouldn't get all sweaty again. Nobody wanted to show up on a lunch date like that. Well, it wasn't really a date. Right? It was just called a date because they were getting together and eating...right? That was too confusing for him to think about at the moment.
"Shall we go inside?" he offered, holding the door open for her.
She would have to get used to his nice manners too. That came with the "package." It was funny, because he hadn't really been raised that way. I mean he had gotten the lecture to "treat a girl right" and so on, but the opening the door part wasn't really part of the lesson. If he had to be honest, he hardly ever held the door open for his ex-girlfriend. He hadn't deemed her "worthy" of those types of manner since she had complained a lot.

The girl waited longer then she would have hoped for, the thoughts of him not showing up where on the back of her mind. It was annoying to have to think of such things. She started to hum softly to herself, she stopped and blushed when she realized it was the song that Ryland sang to her. It must have made a lasting impression on her. Then she heard a voice, his voice. She turned and beamed at the male and threw her arms tight around him, burring her face into the crook of his neck, she giggled when he hugged her also. “I was worried you’d forgotten about me!” She said in a almost scolding voice. She was just teasing him of course, slowly she pulled away and stuck her tongue out at him, but she gave him one last hug, she was acting more like a child this way but she couldn’t help it. Once more while she pulled away she looked over him and smiled at him. “I like your pants…” She said and giggled a bit, gently taking his hand into her own nodded at him as they entered.
“Thank you!” Her voice sounded as happy as ever when he held the door open, well that was super sweet of him, she’ll have to repay him by doing the same, manners were lovely. As they walked in she took his hand once more, tighter this time and pulled him to a window seat, a booth really. She liked sitting next to the window so she could look out at everyone when they walked by. “Wanna sit here? O-Or we can sit where ever you want!” She said and flailed her arms a bit, oh lord, she forgot to ask him what he wanted to do. Her stomach gave a rumble in pure defiance! Her cheeks lit up and she looked away from him, she hadn’t eaten all day the silly girl. She had been getting ready to go out with him and made sure she looked nice just for him. So her stomach really didn’t care where they say so long as it had food in about ten minutes or so. She rocked back and forth and didn’t even realize she was still holding onto his hand, maybe it was just a reaction? But when her eyes traveled downward she noticed it and slowly let go of him, she was such a child sometimes.

Outfit: pants, shirt "Never," he replied, when she said she thought he had forgotten about her.
He never forgot about plans he had made. Well...that wasn't the truth, but it was very rare. Mainly, because he wrote them down everywhere he could think of to remind himself. Usually on the calendar on his phone and his actual calendar in his room. Writing it down on a piece of paper usually didn't work for him. He didn't like forgetting about them. Speaking of his phone, he should probably remember to ask her if it was okay if he got her number. That way they could keep in touch, because he didn't know how it would end for the day.
Ryland smiled at her compliment. "Really? Thanks. Your outfit is nice too."
He didn't think he should bore her with his story of his last girlfriend. It was on the list of things to not tell your girlfriend. Not that they were dating. Maybe it was on the list of things to not tell people you're just becoming friends with. As he entered, he checked around for the cheerful waitress he had seen the last time he had been there, but she was nowhere in sight. Maybe today was her day off. Or maybe she quit. But that was an awful thing to think.
Ry felt something touch his hand and he realized it was Noella's hand. He allowed her to lead him to a booth - he didn't care where they sat at. He nodded to her question about wanting to sit there, even though she quickly retracted it, only to tell him they could sit wherever. He laughed and slid into one side of the booth that she had taken him to.
"Here is fine. I like when you speak your mind."
It made her seem more confident and he thought she was really cute when she made decisions for herself..and him at times. A waiter walked over and laid two menus out on the table. He reached over and picked one up as the waiter asked them what they wanted to drink, and whether or not they knew what they wanted. He himself had already been there one other time and he didn't know if she had been there before.
"Tea and I think we'll look at the menus for a few moments."
Ry glanced over at her, hoping that would be okay and then opened the menu to look over the food items. He still didn't really know what they served, because last time he had to keep himself from looking for fish. Even with his attempt to do that, he had only caught half of what was on the menu. The waiter on the other hand turned to her for her to order her drink. If she wanted something to drink that is.

She smiled at him when he said he really didn’t forget, she was so happy to hear that, really. All those thoughts about him being like everyone else just completely vanished and a mild wave of guilt washed over her, she was awful for thinking something like that, but she shook her head and shook the feeling off, she didn’t want to seem down when they were suppose to have such a nice time! “I felt very… blue today.” Giggling she nodded and sat down across from him and put her purse on the other side of her body and puffed her cheeks out and thanked the waiter when he came over to them with menu’s.
Noella flipped through the pages and tried to find something she could eat, she was a horse so she did enjoy eating veggies and fruits more then any type of meat. She hummed softly and listened to Ryland order his drink then she looked at the waiter and blushed a bit. “Um, just water for me.” She said and nodded at him, her eyes quickly moving back to the menu. What was she going to get? Something cheap and good, her eyes quickly moved over the opinions and soon she grinned and nodded. “I know what I want!” She said happily and closed her menu and smiled at him.
Sighing softly and for the sake of conversation the girl looked over to the boy. “So… what animal do you shift into? Y-You don’t have to tell me! I was just curious.” She mused and looked away for a moment, but then she perked up when he said he liked it when she spoke her mind. Well that was certainly a first for her. Most guys hated it when she spoke her mind. They found her annoying and just all around stupid. Not Ryland though, she was happy about that.
She wondered what his shift would be, he was handsome sweet and all around wonderful. A lion? Something strong she thought, and most likely it was a creature she wouldn’t have thought of, like.. Maybe he was a fish! No, that’s not it. She giggled at the thought and watched him with her bright blue eyes for a little bit. Well then again she bet he didn’t think she was a horse in the slightest. It was always fun to find out people’s shifts well, kind of. She was always worried to tell someone her shift since, some people thought horses were silly.

Outfit: pants, shirt "Why were you feeling blue?"
Ryland looked up when she said she knew what she wanted. He glanced back down at the menu. It wasn't that he was a picky eater. He liked a lot of stuff, that was his problem. Even though his "inner animal" preferred fish, he had his separate human tastes as well. Finally he saw something that sounded pretty good and placed the menu back onto the table. He smiled when she asked about his animal. Luckily he wasn't the type of person to worry over what someone was thinking - whether they were guessing his type of animal.
"I shift into a bald eagle. I suppose I like the sky the best. What about you?"
Most people didn't guess right away that he would turn into an eagle. His personality matched one, but he didn't guess it was quite the same as matching his to a bird, then someone to like...a weasel or something. Most people didn't even know the personality of a bird, let alone an eagle. What was more, was that lots of people didn't like eagles. Probably because they didn't hesitate to steal the food from another bird..or possibly another animal.
Ry felt his cell phone vibrating in his pocket and he pulled it out. It didn't appear to be an emergency, so he placed it back in his pocket. He figured it might be considered rude if he text back at the moment. The waiter returned with his notepad and pen in hand.
"Are you ready to order?"
"Um..I think so. I'll have pasta and salad. And can we get a small basket of bread or something?"
Not the regular bird food at all, but again his human taste buds were very developed. Thankfully. He didn't want to eat meat all the time - vegetables were good in his opinion. Plus just eating meat meant he missed out on a bunch of other food too. On his first day at the school, he was afraid the school cafeteria would be really picky about what they served. But they weren't; how could they be? Some animals were meat eaters, others were vegetarians, and some -like him- ate all types of food.
When the waiter left, he looked over at Noella. "Where did you live at before you came here? If you don't mind me asking.
Not that it really mattered. Most of the things he asked didn't actually matter that much to him. He was just kind of curious about stuff like that. Well, when he had asked her about her boyfriend, that mattered. He didn't want to do something, whether on purpose or not, that would have her boyfriend mad at him, had she actually had one. Even if he was taking a self-defense class, he wasn't the fighting type unless he absolutely had to do it.

“I don’t know, it was just a thing. I looked at all my clothes and went. I wanna wear blue today.” She smiled at him and rested her elbows on the table, and rested her hands on the back of her neck, brushing her long black hair from the back of her shirt. Wow, so he turned into a bald eagle huh? That fit him so well! And it also put more weight on the fact she had been right about not being able to guess what he was, but she knew he was a carnivorous animal, he smelt like one anyway. “That’s so cool! Being able to fly around… O-Oh, I turn into a horse.” She whispered and pursed her lips out a little bit, her face was a bright pink, what would he think of that? Her being able to turn into a giant animal, hopefully he would think good things, she knew he would.
When the waiter finally came she waited for Ryland to order and she blinked, pasta sounded really good right now, and she could get a nice salad out of it. “I-I’ll have the same!” She said happily and kicked her feet out a little bit, her blue eyes set on Ryland and she smiled sheepishly, “S-Sorry, pasta just sounds good right now.” In which it did! The girl also noticed the male’s phone going off and she scratched her cheek a little bit awkwardly, almost reading herself to listen to him talk or text someone else, but… he didn’t. That was nice of him, some guys would totally ignore girls and just go on their merry way with texting. Those jerks.
The male’s new question came up and she thought back for a moment, “I was born and pretty much raised in Tampa, Flordia. There are a lot of horse ranches their and a lot of land so when I shifted I could go anywhere I pleased. We had a lot of horses too. I can talk to them you know, well not talk, talk, like they don’t talk back, but I know what they want and are thinking by the way they move, since I move the same way.” Her face was a deep red, god she bet she sounded so weird and so ranty right now. She wanted him to understand her more and like her more, and this was the only way she knew how. Talking.

Ryland laughed and hid his face in his hands when she explained. That had totally just blown over his head completely. Of course, she was wearing blue, so that had been what she had meant. Somehow he hadn't got that, but something else had popped in his head when she said she was feeling blue." Again, weird things happened when he assumed stuff. That's why he tried not to do it. He finally stopped laughing long enough to explain just what he found so funny.
"Sorry. I just.. I thought you had meant blue like...sad or down about something. I didn't know you were referring to your clothes."
The waiter that served them hurried back over with an apologetic look on his face. He hadn't even seen him leave the table. Ry didn't know why he seemed embarrassed until he saw what was in his hands. The waiter placed the drinks on the table nervously, probably hoping it wasn't going to affect his tip.
"I'm sorry... I forgot all about your drinks. Your food will be ready in a moment."
Ryland looked at his drink and back to the waiter as he hurried off. He had actually been so caught up in talking, and thinking, that he forgot all about the drinks himself. It was just one of those days apparently. But now that he looked at it, he was getting kind of thirsty. His hand slid across the table towards his drink and he took a swallow. Ry nodded when Noella said it must be cool being able to fly. It was amazing. The sight was awesome - if he didn't have to remove his clothes every single time, he could fly up just to find someone. That is..if they were outside. Sadly x-ray vision wasn't included with being a bald eagle.
"A horse? That's cool. I haven't been around horses much, but I like them."
They seemed like graceful animals, especially when they were running. But since he wasn't a horse and he hadn't been around them much, maybe that wasn't even all that true. Then again, if she shifted into a horse, then it must be. She didn't seem to be all that dangerous to him, although they haven't gotten to know each other fully just yet. They would get to that soon enough, though.
"Florida? That's cool. I didn't know there were so many horse ranches there. I was born and raised in California, though we took trips to different places. I kind of miss it, but this place hasn't seemed all that bad since I've been here."

Noella blushed at him when he laughed, why was he laughing? Was it weird that she wanted to wear all blue today? The way he laughed made it seem so and she frowned deeply at him and looked away, feeling rather silly for all the blue she had one her body. “I-I must look awful…” She whispered softly to him but perked up mildly when he said he thought she meant she was in a poor mood. “N-No! I’m with you! Why would I be sad? She asked and pursed her lips a little bit, moving a little bit to gently kick the male’s knee with her flip flop. That’s when she noticed the waiter and waved her hand a bit. “It’s busy! So it’s fine really, take your time!” She said with a warm smile and a nod. However she was happy to have something to drink at last. Sipping her water she shrugged a little bit at the other boy. It was fun to be a horse, and she was glad the male wasn’t scared of them or anything, some people were, but he wasn’t. Good.
“My whole family can turn into horses, even my older brother.” She said gently and smiled at him. “What about you? When did you learn you could change into American’s symbol.” She teased him and giggled a little bit, setting her drink down which was now half empty and rested her hands on her lap. She wanted to talk more about the male too, so it didn’t seem like she was the complete certain of attention, she didn’t like that. She liked to share the light, and this time she would share the light with Ryland. “Yeah, it’s not as hot so… it’s perfect weather for horses and stuff. Cows, all of the above.” She giggled a little bit and looked around the restaurant, sighing almost sadly. “I.. miss it. I didn’t have any friends back home, but I had my brother Markus and he was all the friend I needed really.” Really she did miss her brother more then anything, but she got to talk to him every single day. The male never forgot to call her which she was happy about. Noella smiled a little bit at the male and then blinked slightly. “Oh wow, you have pretty eyes….”

Ryland felt awful when he thought he had offended her. Well, he had thought it was a funny situation, but perhaps she didn't fully understand what he meant. She must not have that much faith in herself. He smiled when she said that she wasn't sad, because she was with him, even though she did kick him in the knee. At least it was gentle instead of with intentions to hurt him or something.
"What I meant was, I thought you were saying you were sad earlier today. I didn't mean sad right now."
He hoped that cleared things up with her a bit. It would be bad for her to start doubting her choice of style too, especially if it was because of him. That would really just ruin everything - not just the day. Ry picked up the drink again and took under swallow as she began talking about her family, and how they could all change into horses.
"When did you learn you could change into American’s symbol.”
Ry laughed. When she said it like that, it almost made him feel like he had to live up to some standard. I mean, what if someone saw him as a bald eagle? They had know idea what he was like as a human. Well...they wouldn't even know he was human. That was not something he needed to have on his mind, though. It wasn't like him to care about whose standards he was living up too. In the end, he thought he had turned out to be a pretty decent kid so far.
"I first found out when I was ten years old. My mom and dad thought it was best if I knew. I suppose they were trying to prepare me at least a little bit. I was twelve years old when I first shifted."
He didn't want to admit it, but the biggest surprise was when he returned to human - he was naked. His parents hadn't told him about that. "Oh, and by the way son, when you come out of your shift you're going to be naked. Just to let you know." What if he had been in public somewhere? How was he supposed to get home with no clothes on?
"Cows?" He laughed.
It would be great to be up in the sky right now. There was so much air and wind up there. Even if there weren't, flying around would get him some wind, because he could fly pretty fast. Especially when he was diving. While he was listening to her talk about "back home," it got him to thinking of his own. But he looked up at her when she said he had pretty eyes.
"Really? Nobody has ever complimented my eyes. They're a dark blue. But yours are very bright."

She smiled at him, by the look on his face she was sure she had made him feel by about the look she had given also. “I-I know! I got you, so it’s fine now.” She now felt bad and gave a small pout, but she was still smiling at the same time, she didn’t want him to feel bad for expressing himself, Ryland liked it when she did it, and never said a word against it so she shouldn’t be a hypocrite and do the opposite. Slowly she reached her hand out over the table and took the male’s hand and played with his fingers. Wait, rewind. Noella was playing with his fingers? Yup. She was linking their fingers together, comparing the sizes of their hands to one another and also just spreading them out and other things, not once did she like jerk them or something, so just gentle soft touches. She did this when she was little with her father and brother, mostly because she was hungry and concentrating on something other then food seemed to help a lot.
She listened to his story intently, smiling the whole time at him. Wow he found out younger then herself, how interesting. “Kind of the same with me, when I first shifted, I was a foal a baby horse and as I grew up I grew up as a horse too.” She giggled a little bit at him and continued her interaction with his fingers and hand. “I can read palms you know!” She said in a very proud voice, like no one else on earth could do it. It was then she noticed his distant look and she tilted her head slightly, was it something she said? Or was she saying too much? “You okay, Ry? She asked softly and gently set his hand back down on the table, her eyes mildly filled with worry since he was quiet and she didn’t like it.
Nodding the girl rested her elbows back on the table and rested her head in her hands. “They’re a pretty blue! Dark blue is pretty or… sexy? I doubt you like being called pretty.” She giggled and stuck her tongue out and had half the mind to call him a pretty birdy. But she didn’t, that would have been rude and mean.

Ryland didn't really know what she was doing with his hand, but it didn't seem to be doing any harm, so he just let her continue, watching her as she did so. Her skin was soft, just like the last time when they had met, and she had placed her hand in his. Of course they were soft earlier too when they had first entered, but he had been too busy looking for the crazy, overly cheerful waitress that had served him the last time he had entered. He still hadn't seen her since they had been there.
"I don't really know what I looked like when I first shifted at the age of twelve. Probably not much different than I do when I shift now, except smaller perhaps."
It was while he was watching her mess with his hands that he began to think about other stuff. Usually he didn't zone out like that. He didn't miss his home that much to zone out, did he? If so, he could at least wait until he was in his room. Not while he was out with her. He jerked back to reality when she asked him if he was okay.
"Yeah, sorry. I was just thinking about home and being up in the sky and stuff."
It was now that he realized she had let go of his hand and he was almost sorry. Not that he was about to ask her to do it again. But if he had to be truthful, in his relationships, holding hands was one of his favorite parts. It wasn't always for a guy, but for him it was. He laughed and shrugged.
"Pretty...sexy. I don't really care what you call me, as long as in the end it means I look good."
She was right. Pretty wasn't really a term to use for a guy. And he would much rather hear that he was "sexy" rather than "pretty." But he meant what he said. As long as she wasn't calling him ugly, he was good. He looked around, wondering just where their food was at exactly. It didn't take that long to cook. Noella had been right when she said it was busy, but he didn't think it was that busy. Luckily he was having a good time and he hoped she was too. She had seemed to open up more while they had been talking, which was great. It was easier to see her real personality now - the way she was around people without having to worry too much about everything.
"So you can read palms? Can you read mine?"

She stared at his hands for a little bit, god she wanted to keep playing with them. For a man hands, they were soft and smooth and not all rough and icky like some guys she knew. That was disgusting. It was like holding a tree branch. Shuddering at the thought she moved to and look at her phone. “Geeze, they must be packed with orders~ I’d have to have to be a waitress, I’d be awful at it.” She made a face, in truth she honestly thought she would be horrible, she would be the girl to spill coffee on a man’s crotch or something like that. She listened to him and nodded a bit. Lucky, he wasn’t an awkward little baby horse when he first changed, then again she remembered the thrill of running around as a baby. Boy it was fun.
“O-Oh, I’m sorry… do you miss home?” She asked softly and gave him a look, she felt a little bad, only because she made him miss home and also she could have bet he’d rather be flying right now then taking to her and waiting for food that seemed like it would never in a million years come. Then she huffed and stuck her tongue out. “Vain birdy, is vain.” She teased and covered her mouth with her hands and giggled at him, she was kidding of course, he wasn’t vain at all. He could have been staring at his reflection in a mirror right now but he wasn’t. Thank god.
Grinning widely she reached out and took his hand back into her own and flipped it over, running her fingers lightly across his palm. “Well, Ry, I can see you’re a very focused person, very caring about others and aren’t scared to step in to help someone even if the odds are against you.” She smiled at him and gave him an approving nod, like she was proud of him or something. “I also see you’ve had problems with past relationships, love or friend I don’t know, but you can give other’s another chance. You’re going to have three kids… sorry about that and you’ll get married and be married for a long time until you quietly pass away in your sleep at a really old age.” She finished with a smile.

"I was just thinking that. Well, the part about the food. I don't know if I would well with being a waiter or not. Perhaps, but there's a particular waitress in here that I don't think I could work with. I'm sure you would do fine."
Ryland looked around at the people in the restaurant. He hadn't been paying much attention at all to the people around him since he had been in there. So he had no clue who had been in there before them and who had came in after. He smiled when she sympathized for him.
"Just a little. I like traveling and stuff, so this isn't that bad. I'm sure some miss their home much more than I do."
Not that he didn't like his parents. They were great. He was really lucky to have a good family like them, rather than some messed up family that maybe drank a lot, were really lazy or abusive. Not his family, so technically he should probably miss them more than he did. But it wasn't like he would never see them again. Plus he had their numbers in his cell phone, so he could call them just about whenever he wanted.
Ry laughed when she called him vain, though he knew she was joking. He liked the way he looked, but he was obsessed with it. No way did he want to stare at himself for hours. That was just weird and unhealthy. But he knew a few people like that and no matter what he said, they didn't seem to think anything was wrong with it.
He watched as her hand took his again, and she turned it over so she could read his palm. Not that he had doubted her abilities, but he was surprised at how correct she was. Well, he didn't know about the last part - that hadn't happened yet. And he was really hoping she was wrong about the three kids. Perhaps some of that she could have gathered from his personality. But not all of it. How would she know he wouldn't run away if he was outnumbered or his previous relationship problem? He hadn't told her any of that.
Ry pulled his hand away when the waiter finally brought their food. He didn't say anything at all, except he gave them a very apologetic look. He couldn't blame him, but it probably wasn't his fault. It probably had to do with the cook or something. After the waiter left, Ry turned back to Noella.
"Wow, that was awesome. You were spot on about all of that..from what I could tell. Are you sure you meant three kids, though? Maybe..one. Or two?"
He couldn't help but laugh, though. Nobody had ever read his palm before, so it was really cool in his opinion. He turned to his food after having said that, though. When he had arrived, he hadn't been very hungry. Only a little. But after all of that waiting, it had gotten worse. Not only that, but the place smelled of food, which didn't help at all.
"So do you have anything planned after we leave here? Homework or something?"
He hoped not, because he really thought it would be cool if they could do something else. It was actually the most fun he had had all day, despite waiting for their food to arrive. Ry did have stuff he could do afterward, but nothing important.

Giggling a bit she rolled her eyes slightly, he was funny giving her the confidence to maybe take up a job here? Sweet of him. “Why couldn’t you work with her?” The girl asked softly and blinked a little bit, wondering if he came her often along, that made her a bit sad to think about him just sitting here all alone with nothing to do, well maybe he read the newspaper? But that would make him seem old, since well old people did that! Her lips went into another tiny frown when he said he did miss home but not a lot. Even though he said it was a mild feeling it still sucked to know he missed his home, possibly his old friends and stuff. “W-Well you can always have a new family? Of all your new friends?” She said softly and looked down at the table, her hand was still holding his. For some reason even though she was done her little “reading” she didn’t want to let go!
Sadly the girl did have to let go when the food came, but then she remember something and quickly took his hand back, turning it over so his palm was facing upward. “This is for good luck… and hopefully everything I say comes true!” Grinning she leaned down and gently kissed the male’s palm, after the little kiss she rolled the male’s fingers up so he made a fist and then she let him his hand go again, even thought deep inside she didn’t really want too. “You can open your hand.” Noella stuck her tongue out, her gaze moved to their food and she couldn’t help but grin happily. Her stomach had began to growl again, oddly enough she seemed to have forgotten about being hungry until the food had came. She began to eat her pasta first, since in her pure Italian family it was right to eat the salad after the meal, better for her stomach her mother always told her.
While she was eating her gaze moved back up from her bowl of happiness to the male, did she have something to do after this? She didn’t think so, no she cleared her whole day to spend with the male if he wanted to spend it all with her anyway. Swallowing she shook her head. “No, I made sure I did everything last night, so that way I could spend the day with you!” Her voice sounded thrilled and proud all at the same time. Proud she got all her homework done and then thrilled to know she could be with the male all day.
