First day of classes, first full day at the academy. She got here last night. Her father sent her here after the incident. He couldn't bare to have her get caught, so he sent her to a place he knew she would be safe. Shifter Academy seemed like a good place to him. Her brother was missing in action and who knew what happened to him. She assumed he was caught by the police, but when one is arrested for murder, he doesn't get an easy trial. Esspecialy when he is caught with blood on his hands and the murder weapon in his pocket. Karlee hated to think about it. Her poor brother taking the rap for the person she killed unintentianly. Was that something that happened to everyone? She assumed not.
First time she ever shifted into the lovely cheetah she is, a human saw her, and she shot them. After that, she ran. She ran until she couldn't run anymore. Being a marathon runner in training really helped with the being able to run a long ways without stopping. And I guess, when your a cheetah that helps too. She shuttered at the thought as she walked outside. It was a nice day. She had made the mistake of wearing sweats. There was not many people down on the track, she figured the advanced marathon training class would not be very big. She saw three guys standing down there- and no girls. Not many girls where as intense into running as she was. She loved it. Running and dancing where her passions.
I have shorts under my sweats! She remembered. She stopped, before she got to the track, and stripped her sweats off. Underneath she had a pair of bright red shorts. They where a tad on the short side, but she always wore short shorts when she went running. Made it easier on her. She was wearing a black tank top as well. She could see some of the guys looking at her, probably either A) Thinking they where lucky that a girl was in there class. B) Thinking there was no way a girl could keep up with them. or C) Wondering if she was really in there class. She hated guys eye balling her, but when you wore what she wore, it was to be expected. She wouldn't mind making a friend or two here. Standing at only five foot five, she was the shortest person here by quite a bit. She didn't care though.
She walked down to the track where the three boys where gathered, and a teacher. Uhm, hey, Im Karlee. I'm knew in this class. Her vibrant green eyes looked around between the three. Rather nice looking, she had to admit. But she would have to see. She falls for guys too easy, but didn't fall for just any guy who was on the track. She left her long, chocolate brown hair down around her shoulders. She usualy tied it back, but didn't feel like it today. The professer smiled at her as he looked at his roster and nodded. Thank you for joining us, Karlee. We will start in just a minute. We are waiting for one more person. Karlee smiled and brushed a strand of hair behind her ears.
She was never shy around guys. It was just who she was, but none of them seemed to be talking to her. She couldn't wait to show them that they where not the only good runners in this place. Her legs where well tanned, although she usualy didn't tan, she got a nice tan the past few days. She wasn't sure how the class worked or what they did, but she was sure she would find out. She crossed her arms across her chest and waited, looking around.

Vincenzo was running late. Unfortunately, this was one of the first days that this had happened to him. He is a really punctual person and never, ever runs late. He didn't know what had come over him today. He was struggling to get his shoes on and tied and out the door as fast as he could. He hated being rushed, he always feels like he's forgetting something in situations like this. Usually, when he felt like he was forgetting something, he was and that was just not a good feeling at all. He knew he was forgetting something but what could it be? He checked his breath and his armpits really quickly. Nope, he smelt great. He looked in the mirror and had all of his clothing on and looked good. He checked his pockets and, yes, he had his phone and his keys. It was a mystery to what he was forgetting, but he couldn't wait around to figure it out. He needed to get down to the track ASAP.
Vince loved running. He LOVED it. It was his life and he breathed in running day in and day out. He couldn't believe that the time was working against him today and he actually had to RUN to the track. He was supposed to meet with a couple of his friends and go for a run, but he was whoa late. On the plus side, it was a beautiful day. The sun was beating down just the right amount of temperature on his body and the breeze was compensating for the heat by blowing coolness over the campus. It was just an awesome day all together. He was almost at his destination when he remembered what he had forgotten. His Watch! Normally he had his watch on at all times, though he takes it off when he showers, and this time he forgot to put it back on. This sucked because he always times himself to see if he can beat his previous time. Ah well, I guess it was slow and steady for him today. Man that really stunk.
The track was coming into view and he could see a bunch of students waiting to start. He knew that he was the one that was holding them up and, now that he was here, they could start. He felt so bad but everyone is entitled to a couple of days being tardy. He just used one of his up today. Panting very slightly, he reached the destination and announced that he was here, "I'm sorry I'm late guys" He looked around at the people looking back at him and realized that there were only a couple of people he didn't recognize. One of which was a girl around his age that he had never seen before. He had recognized a couple of the boys, but not her. There were only a couple of people there so, being the friendly guy that he is, he decided to go and introduce himself.
He walked up to her and realized her arms crossed. Hm...was this going to be a challenge? Maybe. Vince liked challenges though. "Hey there," he started, "So you're a runner too eh?" He realized only now just how pretty this girl was. He couldn't believe all of the beautiful girls that went to this school. He couldn't wait to get to know this one and, who knows, maybe they will be running partners. There are many possibilities when one is a runner. He smiled and waited for her to reply, though he really wanted to start on the track. W O R D S;; 718 T A G;; Karlee N O T E S;; Not my best AT ALL haha but at least it's finally up! Karlee was lost in her thoughts. She wanted to get started, and she was wondering if she was even supposed to be here. She heard whisper of it amungst some guys while she was in he cafeteria, so she thought she would just show up. She was not formally invited. But hey, this was the school track, she is allowed right? She is glad she wore shorts because it was starting to get warmer out. She decided to sit on the ground and stretch a little. She stretched both legs out in front of her and reached for her toes. She was extreamly flexible, and reached past her toes. She felt a pull in her hamstrings and came back up . Damn. It hurt a little, she hadn't stretched that far in a while.
She stood back up and walked over to the gate and leaned against it. She propped one foot up on it, and put one foot back, and learned forward, leaving her feet where they are. Anouther hamstring stretch. She felt the pull and then released. She stretched her arms a little, just to act like she was doing something, and then she heard a guy running down to the track. He said something to the other guys. The guy then came over to her and said hey. She smiled. He didn't introduce himself, so she didn't know yet what to call him. That was always one of the first things she wanted, a name to call someone. It was either that or she started coming up with nick names right off the bat.
He asked if she was a runner, and a huge grin spread across her face. She unfolded her arms and cocked a hip, placing one palm on her hip. She tossed her hair a little before she spoke. It was all habit for her. Am I a runner? Running is practically my LIFE. Her bright green eyes glimmered. He was not bad looking one bit. Quite handsomn actualy. She noticed these things about guys. He had a "doggish" look about him. Her lip twitched as she quickly glanced him over. She smiled again. My names Karlee, by the way. Karlee Betzina. She offered a hand to shake. Sha'll we get going? She asked, not waiting, and turning around and taking off at a steady jog. She could keep up with the best of them, even if the others where much taller than her. She was a good runner and she knew it- she guessed it came with the cheetah gene. She slowed a little bit, to see if anyone might catch up to her and jog with her. She loved a pacer, a challenge.
OOC;; Im sorry this is crap. Ive been so tired. School just ended and i've been doing other stuff and Im totaly beat. <3 Sorry love.

Am I a runner? Running is practically my LIFE. Was the response that he got after asking the question. Her behaviour was beginning to make him think if he was befriending the right person. She swished her hair back before she spoke and he kind of got a snobby attitude spewing out from her body. However, taking another look at her he realized that her beauty was actually what was being shone. Her eyes glimmering, the scent of her, her hair was even beautiful (even though it was swished past his face). He wasn't sure if he would like her at the end of the day though he really hoped that he would. She was beautiful but if she was a snob at all then he would probably have nothing to do with her after today. He really hated snobs and it was such a shame when snobs are also runners. Bad combination of people.
He noticed her stretching before and in this, he noticed that she had a great body. He was very excited to learn more about this person and see what kind of person she actually was. Was she in fact a snobby prick that he wouldn't get along with? Or was his first impression all wrong and he just misunderstood the vibes coming from her. He really hoped it was option B. She spoke again, My names Karlee, by the way. Karlee Betzina. What a nice name! He really did like it and it was fascinating how many other people had great names here at the academy. Very unique and very unexpected. He loved it. He stuck out his hand and shook hers saying, "Nice to meet you Karlee, I'm Vincenzo Porescetti" he smiled at her, "And for the record, running is my life as well."
It was true, running was his entire life. He couldn't live without going for his run every morning and he would probably go absolutely crazy if he ever broke his foot. Whoa, that is probably the worst case scenario of his entire life. That would be horrible and it sent a shiver down his spine just thinking of it. Ugh. As he was thinking about this, the sweet voice interrupted his thoughts, Sha'll we get going? Ooh she was anxious to get going! That was good because he didn't come just to stand around. He nodded and said, "Ya for sure! Give me just 5 minutes to stretch and then we'll get going"
It was really imporant for him to remember to stretch. It was one of the first things he ever learned about running. Going on a run requires so many muscles in your body and because of that, stretching your entire body is extremely important. He started with his shoulders, rotating them back and forth, then did his arms, legs, waist, and ankles. He made sure that he felt good before he started. He clapped his hands in completion and nodded to Karlee. "Alright, I'm set! Let's go" As he looked back up however, he realized that she had already gotten a bit of a head start. He smiled. That was not a problem as he could catch up easily and they could start their pace together. This could possibly be a great run.
He finally caught up and once he did, he asked her "So, how often do you go running? And when? Like, morning or afternoon?" He couldn't help to wonder what shift she was either though he knew that it had to be a creature that was a running fiend. Time will tell when they get to know each other a little bit better.W O R D S;; 732 T A G;; Karlee N O T E S;; Haha no worries! C R E D I T;; hey it's SHMEY! @ caution 2.0

KARLEElynneBETZINA Don't you draw the queen of Diamonds, boy, She'll beat you if she's able, You know the queen of broken hearts is always Your best bet
Karlee was about as far from a snob as could get. She was a very outgoing person and she was usualy very friendly. At times she could be very sarcastic and rude, but never a snob. She hated snobby people. Thought they where better than everyone when they where actualy very from it. People like that made her want to scratch someones eyes out. Hey, she had claws, she could do that. Being a cheetah, she could have a feline attitude. She did like the be the center of attention at times and she could be a show off. Only because she knew she was good. She didn't think she was better than everyone, she just knew that she was infact good. She was good at horse back riding, she was good at running, and she was good at dancing. Those where really the only skills she held to her name.
He seemed like a nice guy. She had only just met him, but he seemed friendly right off the bat. Well, he had not yet spoken a single word, but he looked friendly. She could look at someone and typically tell how they acted. She grew up having to know people at first glance. If she didn't, she could end up shot. For her it was shoot first ask questions later. She could be extreamly judgemental, but everyone had there faults. Nobody could be perfect. She was trying to change her ways, but it was hard when you where raised the way she was. She was raised to be full of hate and resentment. And she did hate most people. She tried to be a very friendly and outgoing person. She wanted people to like her. She wanted to have friends. She really did, but so many people didn't like her because she could be sheltered.
She smiled brightly when he introduced himself. He had a nice handshake as well. My pleasure, Vincenzo. That was a unique name. She liked it when people had unique names. There was way to many Mike's and Ashleys. Unique names usualy meant unique people. And I love meeting other runners. She smiled broadly again. Finaly, she had met somebody else here. She hated being the new person for that sole reason. Not knowing crap. Well, if people where crap she would know crap. Catch my drift?
Karlee couldn’t wait. So when Vince said he was going to come in five minutes, she decided she would just get going. He could catch up if he was a true runner. Lost in her own thoughts as she ran, she smiled when he came up beside her. She set her pace to match his as soon as he came beside her. This would be a good pace to keep. He questioned her immediately. She smiled again, her bright green eyes sparkling. I usualy run in the morning, and the afternoon, and sometimes in the evening. If I’m not running, I’m dancing. If I’m not dancing, I’m running. She smiled, and she increased the pace a little, just to see what Vince could do. If he could keep up with her, anyways. That would be quite impressive. Keeping up with a cheetah was something to pride all in its own. What about you? Her caramel voice spoke, and she looked at him. He didn’t seem to be having much trouble. She wondered what his shift was. Something with good stamina probably.
She wanted to immediately start asking him questions, but she would wait. She looked down at her feet, and stumbled a little. She was not the most graceful thing. Cheetah’s where, but Karlee was not. She shook it off and continued at her pace. She looked out ahead of her, then glanced behind. The other guys where a ways behind them. Either they had just started, or they where slow runners. Karlee shrugged it off and looked back ahead of her.
