“You got what you asked for, Dean. No Paradise, no Hell. Just more of the same.”After Lucifer is sent back into the Pit, as well as Michael, the angels are in chaos. God hasn't returned, and the angels need a leader. So if they get Michael out, then the Devil gets out as well. The demons, no longer having Lucifer raised, are desperate. So they begin to raise powerful demons, namely the Seven Princes of Hell, hoping maybe the ghastly demons can find a way to get Lucifer out and killing again. So far, only one: Asmodeus, has been risen, and he has taken command of the demons and his fellow Princes follow his lead. The Colt, the one gun that could certainly kill Asmodeus, the demon now holds, leaving only the knife to stop Asmodeus. But can the Winchesters get close enough to use it? The angels, unable to raise Micheal from his current state in the Pit without the possibility of raising Lucifer again, manage to worm Sam from the pit without freeing the devil himself. Without their leader, the angels get desperate and begin pulling fallen hunters from their fates as well, hoping that maybe with their combined strength, can stop and kill Asmodeus. Now, without Michael, can the angels (along with Sam and Dean), stop Asmodeus from raising his brother's and growing strong enough to spring Lucifer from his tomb? The lines have been drawn, sides chosen, but for now, it's just More Of The Same.
