Ryan walked through the hallways of the school. Ryan was out and about today. He wanted to get used to where all the rooms where. Like the cafeteria, since he would be going there a lot. Or the library where he would possibly be getting most of his reading stuff for classes. He hated walking around with a white stick it screamed I’m blind pity me. He didn’t want anyone to know like this. He liked having a Seeing Eye dog better. One you can bond with the dog, two it’s not as obvious that’s he’s blind, lastly he gets the company he needs so he doesn’t go into a depression. But Ryan deals with it like he does everything; he doesn’t even complain about it. It’s just not him, mostly because he doesn’t want the attention he knows he would get from his parents if they found out his little baby boy had something to complain about. Ryan knew his parents had much more to worry about than him and his complaints, with his little sister who is only seven and his even younger brother who is still an infant. Not to mention he just didn’t like complaining it wasn’t his thing and it never was.
Ryan went through many hallways from where he started which was his dorm room. Speaking of which he had yet to meet his roommates; although he has only been here for a couple days but to him it seems longer than that. He really has to start making friends he couldn’t go on any longer like this. He was tired of being depressed; he guessed it was one of the side effects of being like your shift. Though he kind of liked it seeing how it made him to make friends. Just that wasn’t going so well for him seeing as how he’s too shy and to blind to talk to anyone first. He sometimes cursed his blindness when he starts to think about all the things he wouldn’t be able to see. But he sooner or later got over it. He had no choice in the matter; for he wasn’t going to stick on what he can’t do. How would that make him the fun loving person he is right now?
He hoped sooner or later he would end of in a library; he wanted to make sure the school had Braille books. If he didn’t he wasn’t sure where else he could go to get the books he wanted. But that was a thought for later, if he could fine the stupid library to even find out. Ryan walked for about another five minutes when he bumped into someone “verdammt” yes he had said this in his native tongue, but because he wasn’t thinking about it. Ryan had gotten used to talking in English all the time but something like this he would have it slip off his tongue. For of course it was so easy for him to do. He half wishes he could talk his native tongue to someone and that person of course would be able to understand him. This also made he want Ivy be his side even more so. Because he could always talk to her in his native language; as a matter of fact that was the only language she understood was German. “Oh! I’m sorry; are you ok?” Ryan said in English this time but with an accent. He wasn’t sure what else he could do or say really, so he left it at that and waited.
this is you thinking !
" this is you speaking ! "" this is someone else speaking ! "
