- Scary Movies ~ I get scared so easily, I know, but still, I don't need to watch that stuff.
- Fish ~ Only if I am eating it, they don't taste right, I prefer dear and elk and such stuff as that.
- Knives ~ Yeah, it wasn't that bad until I heard Iseki's story about her psycho niece, yeah, keep those things away from me.
- Noise ~ It has to be loud noise, but it still scares me away, easy way to get rid of me, or make me cry.
- Non-Colors ~ I don't like white and black, they are no colors, they are nothing, just blank voids.

Overall: [400 words minimum]
Hina is a silent child, she will do nothing that involves talking, and if she does do it, she won’t say anything. She just looks at people with a blank look in her face, a look that nearly resembles fear on her face. Though her silence does not make her mean, she is quite nice, even if she avoids using words, her body language, and facial expressions usually define how she feels and acts, she is very easily read, and she makes sure it stays that way for the people around her. She didn’t want to be completely emotionless and closed to the world around her, she wasn’t born acting that way.
She does not believe in violent methods, to her, they are just a worse way of saying who is superior in life, and she believes that life shouldn’t be a competition, it should be life, it should be fun, and it should be calming. Though she knows that peace will never be achieved, she dreams and hopes anyways. Hoping brings her joy, and joy is something she doesn’t always have, so she takes it where she can get it, and she loves it, to her, it is gold.
If someone can break through her protective barrier she is known to be quite cuddly and lovable, and she can be known to talk a little more. She definitely giggles a lot more and enjoys playing games. She still seems withdrawn though even to her friends, it was in her DNA to keep away from people, she was a squirrel after all.
She can sometimes appear to be absent minded, she will often dance to herself and hum music and completely not notice anyone around her, it was one of her ways to avoid speaking, and once she got into the habit she couldn’t get out of it, she forgot that she was trying to forget that people were there. It started to become automatic, unless she specifically went somewhere thinking that there would be other people, and she had to thing it over and over and over. She was sometime, absent minded, and she honestly, didn’t care.
She will help anyone, in anyway she can, once again, if it left out her voice. She couldn’t stand to see someone in pain, or frustrated, it was against all she was about, to see someone like that. She knew what it was like to be laughed at, and to be sad, and to have people scared of her, and people talk about her behind her back. She couldn’t stand it.

Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Hina is a tall girl, her height measures to be approximately 5’2” and weighs approximately 98 pounds, just a little lower than average, but not to a point of any danger, she was a perfectly healthy child considering her early birth, the doctors explained that her weighing less than average was due to the slow rate her muscles were developing, and she never ate a full portion of food.
Her hair was a dark brown often appearing black in certain lighting, and often appearing a dark red hue in florescent lighting, yes, she knows what her hair looks like in florescence, during the winter months however, her hair color became a gray/white color. It falls below her shoulders just above her breasts, her favorite style is having it worn down so a lot of times if it is tied up, she’s pulling at the ribbon or source of tie. Her hair is almost always straight as well, it is naturally straight, but every now and than, if she is dressing up she will curl it.
Depending on the season however, her hair color changes upon shifted though her animal form will have had to be fully changed into the fur of that season before her hair molecules changed themselves. So during the winter months when her hair is white, instead of returning to the regular hair that it was, the hair upon her head, was a longer vers
Her skin is the natural tan that most Asian people possess seeing that both of her parents Asian, well, that was what she was told anyways. Though again in florescent lighting, her skin can appear blotchy, which just gives her reason to believe that at least her father was white. Though most of the time she did appear to be Asian.
Also, depending on the season, her skin pigment changes ever so slightly, just barely enough to be seen, but like her hair changing colors, it only happens after the full fur change of her animal has appeared. Though it appears to be a natural change of lack of sunlight, it is actually, the hairs on her body have had turned to soft white fur, making her skin look much paler than normal.
Her eyes are normally a soft brown, but in certain lighting they can look like cold black, and often her eyes naturally change color to soft black because the pigments changing color. It seemed that her DNA couldn’t decide whether to have her fathers brown eyes, or her mothers black eyes, thus it decided to alternate between them. In her shifted form, her eyes did this as well.
She has four scars on her thighs, one on each of her outer thighs, and one on each of her inner thighs where her leg braces had cut into her thighs, another set of four scars one on each side of both of her knees, also rested from the same reason. Though she rarely wore her braces, they had done some minor damage before she had a more expansive pair that were better padded than her first ones. She had scars on her elbows, and on the front of her knees because of her falling had caused her to land awkwardly and scrape them.

Summer-
During the summer the small momonga, or the miniature Japanese flying squirrel, has light brown fur on it’s face, black fur on it’s back, and a white underbelly. It has large dark brown eyes often appearing black, that seem to brighten up as she looks at the world around her.
Winter-
During the winter her coat is pure white, with a light hint of a golden brown spot on her forhead, the underside of her tail is also this same shade as the spot on her forhead, though there are very little differences between the two, the eyes stay the same.
Both:
No matter what, both seasonal species are the same. She is 14 centimeters large, and only weighs about 176.3 grams.[/size]

[400 words minimum]
My name is Hina Izumi. Born on March 21 to Akeno Izumi, her father was no where to be seen, and no one knew who he was, her mother died giving birth to her, eight months into the pregnancy. But as a fetus, she had been developing slower than most, so she was supposed to be born later, not earlier. But complications became known, her mother fell ill, her immune system was weak, and she stopped taking the pills she was on to during her pregnancy to make sure her daughter would be alright, it was a fatal mistake for her.
The doctor that had been supervising the midwife, who happened to be his wife, adopted her, they had both been good friends with her mother, and both of them were hurt once she died, so they decided to try to preserve her memory, in Hina. Neither of them new that her Mama had a secret though, a secret that would effect her greatly when I got older, and they had never suspected a thing. Mia was the woman who had helped deliver her, and Naru was the man who had called an emergency cesarian-section after her mother went into cardiac arrest and shortly afterwards passed away of some bug.
Both of them were elderly, and had retired shortly after her birth. As a foster child in their care they earned a certain amount of money to help take care of her, so she was never hungry, and never without clothes of decency. She was their princess, and she tried not to let that go to her head.
She was born and raised a happy, gentle, hyper, playful child despite the fact that she was born with a disability. As a result of being born early, her leg muscles, that a child has, never developed fully, causing her to have issues walking and running, but she never gave up trying. So she kept pushing herself and eventually her muscles grew stronger, but it didn't help with the fact that she could never participate in any sports, and often didn't participate in Physical Education when they ran. But she often tried, she didn't get far but she tried.
When she was five her 'mother' put her into dance classes, as an alternative to the physical therapy she was having on her legs, it was proving more effective than the physical therapy was, and for that she was grateful, she didn't like going to the hospital for therapy with a strange woman she didn't know, it kind of scared her. It was Mia's idea, and it was Mia who was teaching her, since Mia was officially a dance instructor before she became a midwife, she taught both to her wonderful 'daughter'. It gave them something they had in common and would often come home laughing together.
Once she started school no one mocked her, at least to her face, and they all treated her kindly, making her life so nice. Though she always had the self-conscience fear that everyone would hate her for being different, but there were a lot of 'different', 'special', and 'disabled' children and teachers at her school that it didn't bother her that much. She kind of liked it, it gave her reason to spend a lot of time with Mia.
But seeing as how both of them were old, social services soon intervened saying that they were unfit to raise a child. So they sent her to an orphanage for adoption. Shortly afterward she was outside with the two orphanage instructors that went with her when she went outside while the others ate their morning meal, she had never ate breakfast because it made her feel ill a lot of the times so they always went outside to play with her. She was climbing the tree that day and suddenly her legs gave out, and she fell to the ground, soon following were popping noises that could not be explained. It scared the two workers, it took a long, painful transformation, but Hina had had her first transformation. No longer was she a smiling child, but a tiny, squirmy Momonga. The workers were terrified as the tiny Japanese squirrel climbed up the leafless Cherry Tree and soared over their heads to get away.
The workers had began to treat her differently from than on, and she started to grow scared, she didn't know why, but something about them intimidated her as they became harsh and mean, and she stopped talking, she became silent. Three months later a teacher, Sayuri Iseki, had heard of the strange "magical child" and started the long process of adoption, knowing that the child needed help. Thus ending Hina Izumi with a mother name Sayuri Iseki, at a school for of shifters.
...connecting human to animal
[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
Hina shifts from Human to Momonga because of all the energy she has. Both are hyper creatures that enjoy playing with other humans/animals. Another reason is that both of them love to clime and can be very skittish depending on the moods they are in, relating in both personality and preferences. Even their food choices mirror each other.

Serenity had been laying in her bed
for a long time since the incident
at the green house, she felt guilty
and depressed. She had been caught
cheating on her boyfriend, the first
time she cheated on him, she got
caught, who knows what he thought
of her now, well obviously not highly.
She had been laying beneath her
saddle, staring at his text message,
she couldn't have been any more
depressed at that moment, and she
couldn't sleep. The only thought that
went through her head was Iseki,
Sayuri Iseki, who was seven years
her superior, her aunt, and a teacher.
A teacher that she hated.
It was her fault, she knew it was her
fault, she knew not why, they had
grown so close, but her mother had
warned her, her mother had told her
to stay away from her. But she had
not listened, why hadn't she listened?
She knew why, her aunt had
convinced her otherwise, the things she
said had made sense, she had said her
mother never made her come live inside
because she didn't want her their. But
why would her aunt say so many bad
things about someone who was trying
to protect her, why, why, why?
Her mind raced over all the possibilities
before she remembered her fathers words,
"Sere, when you go to school, don't listen
to your Aunt, she will make you believe
she is kind, and we are wrong, she will do
anything to hurt my family..." She
didn't believe that, her aunt had made a
logical argument that beat his, but she
had chosen the wrong one, her boyfriend
didn't trust her, well her ex-boyfriend,
she didn't trust her family, there was no
trust in her life, it was imperfect, she
knew, but it could have been a lot better.
That was it, she couldn't take it any more,
her aunt, had to be dealt with, her anger
had built up, she was trembling, she wasn't
right in her mind, or at least that was how
it appeared to her roommates, she was
angry and she had been talking to herself all
evening. Her saddle didn't muffle much,
why she still collapsed with her saddle on top
of her confused her, it made it extremely
difficult to move fast off of her bed. She
squirmed her way out from beneath it and
rolled onto the floor below.
She landed on the floor from her top bunk
in push-up position, it had taken her two
and a half months to manage to land like
that, that was a long time, and it had hurt
getting it right, but she didn't mind, she
had had to perfect it. She jumped up and
started digging in her bags that were located
in her and her roommates closets, she had
taken her aunts pairing knife when she first
joined, because she was told to to help her
eat apples, she couldn't eat the skin, now she
would return it. She marched out of her
dorm, anger in her every move.
She wasn't quite sure why she blamed
Iseki, or what she was blaming her for,
but she just knew it was her fault. She
just knew that it was Iseki's fault, she
looked at her phone as it vibrated yet
again, she once more received a text
message from her aunt, before she
walked down the hall she turned
around and threw the cell phone
at the wall of her dorm with force,
causing it to break into peaces, her
anger had built up, she couldn't help
it, and she didn't care, her aunt was
an annoying woman.
She was shoeless as she silently stalked
down the hall of the girls dorms, she
had no need of shoes in the building
and she had no plan on wearing them
at the moment anyways, all of her
shoes made too much noise even if she
walked on carpet, because she always
walked heavy in heels, and well, that
was about as much as she had, were
heels. That and she couldn't run in
those if things went to hell, she would
break her ankle, than she would be in
trouble. Especially if things went as
planned that night.
She finally reached the floor that her
aunt was on and soon found herself in
front of her door, she was angry. very
angry, but she wanted to see if it would
be easier to get her to open up if she
was nice, before she tried busting down
the door, so she knocked lightly, but go
t no answer so she knocked a little,
harder. Her aunt had just text her right
before she broke her phone, so she knew
she was awake. She never left her door
locked unless she was gone, so she decided
to try opening it.
Locked, her aunt was still there, she
knew it, she just knew it, she kneed
the door, still no answer, she was
getting aggravated, a low growl was
growing in her throat, she wasn't even
an animal that growled, she was a
horse, she was just annoyed, extremely
annoyed.
"Iseki, open the damned door! Iseki!"
She raised her voice, before she started
screaming on it and pounding on the door,
threats slipping in as she did such as, "I'm
going to kill you." She planned on holding
true to her word, she seemed to have
forgotten that teachers lived in this hall
as she screamed threats and her name
through the door while pounding on it.
