Guess it's not an introduction thread but still... I said I was gonna take some pics of the area around where I live. Just because I wanna show you guys.

My back garden =) patio furniture is under that cover for the winter, the black bag is over a busted window in our shed and the tree is an apple tree that still has half a tree platform (can't call it a treehouse) that me and my dad made when I was younger. And that sky... pure dreary cloud.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0362.jpg
The front of my house, the left hand side is us, the right hand is our neighbours. And that is my li'l car out front. =D
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0364.jpg
This is the rugby club training grounds a little way down the road from my house. It's coming up to winter so the tree is Naked =D
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0391.jpg
Our little theatre... used to be called that actually. It looks bad on the outside but the pantomimes at christmas when I was in primary school were awesome.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0390.jpg
The nursery I went to (more commonly known as a daycare, right?) my aunt is the owner of this branch and it's right on my way to Uni now =D
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0389.jpg
The very reason I love taking pictures. Finding something random and capturing it forever. I saw this on a basket rack outside a chemist's shop, I don't know how it got there but it was interesting to see.
I'm gonna start taking my camera with me more often now for this reason. A couple of weeks ago I saw a name tag sticker stuck to a bench that said 'everyone makes mistakes' I wanted to take a pic of it but I didn't have my camera... I planned to go back but that night there was a ton of rain.... It probably didn't survive, though I haven't actually checked.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0388.jpg
This place used to be called the stag house and the stag was painted gold... now it says S A O E, and it's a betting shop... or an estate agents... I cannot remember.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0367.jpg
The tallest building in the town... maybe 10 stories high... yeah... that's as tall as it gets here, the highest thing in the valley.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0369.jpg
my university's library, wanted to show you all where I spend my days =D that's one of the most modern buildings in the campus. And 'university of the year' doesn't mean it's the best, it just meant it won some survey or another.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0366.jpg
War memorial and behind it the entrance to one of two proper parks we have... might have to take some pics inside them some day.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0373.jpg
our town center, they're putting up the christmas decorations =D And that silver monolith on the left it the text tower, supposedly you can text it and the little lights on it flash and change colour... I dunno, never done it myself.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0371.jpg
See the yellow blokes in the previous pic? They're dressed up as Pudsy bear collecting money for children in need. There's a big event every year on tv to raise money. One of them noticed me taking the next one...
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0372.jpg
told you so.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0370.jpg
Another person collecting, this time dressed as... something else... took this one quickly as I was walking past.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0374.jpg
statue of some guy who got a knighthood.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0375.jpg
Town hall, in front of it is fountain pool of awesome.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0377.jpg
FOUNTAIN POOL OF AWESOME!
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0380.jpg
It's graduation week so all the people who finished Uni last year were about in their silly gowns =D Congratulations to then though =D
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0382.jpg
'nother pic of the graduates. I must at this point say that I'm not a midget, I was practicing taking the pic with the camera slung around my neck and the nifty tilt screen pointed up so i could see it.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0384.jpg
Little grassy area on my way home, used to have a bigger playground, you can just about see the slide between the trees.
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0386.jpg
This is a stone laid in a small church... me and a friend were walking past about a year ago and he didn't notice that the first two letters were the guy's initials. So he called him counsillor WAALLAN, which is now an in-joke between me and a few friends. We decided councillor WAALLAN was an alien who is on a secret council that runs the world... I even do a sound effect for him =D
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/IMG_0353.jpg
Is this not the most awesome thing you've ever seen? If you don't know who Christopher Lee is IMDB him; Saruman from Lord of the Rings. This has spawned many jokes, some about him ruling the world along with WAALLAN, and accounting phrases such as 'together we shall rule this middle management'
i782.photobucket.com/albums/yy104/tornadotrist/Photoon2010-11-17at1645.jpg
My mum bought this for me today... a Union flag duvet cover... =D why not.
I'm gonna turn into a sad old man surrounded by photo albums aren't I? The one that makes you sit there and look through them every time you visit =D
If you've looked through all of these then thank you for wasting your time on me =D I feel like a little kid shoving something in your face and saying 'look what I did!'
