- People: Thea loves getting to know people and finding out what makes them tick, what makes them sad, what makes them angry, what makes them do the things they do, but most of all Thea loves just being a friend to whoever needs one.
- Special Needs Children: This is where Thea's passion is. Being with these kids brings her joy like no other. She has learned that love has no bounds and that when you give a little you get a lot.
- Running: Thea loves to run, she loves feeling her muscles flexing and her heart pounding. When she is running all of her worries seem to blow away with the wind. It allows her to get away from everything and gives her space to think.
- Cloud Gazing: Something about how soft and fluffy clouds are just make Thea smile. How something floating in the air could be made of water just amazes her.
- Star Gazing: When watching the stars she feels such peace. Though it makes her feel small and insignificant in the overall scheme of things, she also sees a grand design that guides every step of her life.
- Smiling: Thea loves to smile and loves when she sees others smile, it gives her hope in humanity. Giving smiles to complete strangers walking down the street is one of her favorite things, she knows that everyone has a history and maybe she could brighten their day by offering up a simple smile.
- Reading: Heather loves being able to travel anywhere and anyplace. Like running, reading is an escape. She loves analyzing the characters and learning truths about human nature from the books.
- Horses: Obviously, she knows how to get along well with horses and enjoys their company. She sees them like she sees people just without a lot of the crazy problems that seem to have taken over society
- Classical Music: The range of emotion that can be conveyed through classical music just amazes Thea. There is a favorite song for every mood she feels. The Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven for when she is sad, Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor by Alexander Borodin for when she is happy, and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 13 when she is angry
- Playing the Piano: Thea adores playing music, being able to create something beautiful just by pressing black and white keys awes her. She loves seeing how it effects peoples attitude, how music seems to speak to the soul.
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Thunder Storms: The loud noise of thunder has always scared Thea, though hopeful that someday she would out grow the fear, no such luck has found her. Generally when there is thunder she gets jittery and paces around her room.
- Loss of Routine: Thea is a very scheduled person and likes to have every aspect of her day planned out. Whenever her schedule is broken she becomes stressed and becomes unreasonable and hard to deal with. Routine is key with Thea.
- Small Spaces: She hates being confined and likes to be out in the open. She loves being outdoors with wide open spaces. Small and crowded rooms stress her out and she has a hard time focusing on anything other than how uncomfortable she is.
- Pain: Thea hates getting hurt or even getting shots. She likes being comfortable and doesn't like getting poked and prodded. When she gets hurt, even if it is just a stubbed toe, Thea is bound to cry though she will try to keep her response under control.
- Having Nothing to Do: Thea hates not being productive. She is able to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time and being put in a situation where she just has to sit and wait annoys her more than anything else.
- Aggressive People: She finds no need in using strength to overpower anyone. Though she prides herself on not being judgmental on first glance, after the first conversation she has already decided the persons character. If she has deemed them as mean or aggressive she avoids those people, even if she is wrong. It takes a lot to change Thea's opinion of a person.
- Being Alone: Though sometimes Thea likes to be by herself she hates being alone for long periods of time. She is very social and likes to talk and be with others, investing in their lives.
- Flies: They just bother her. They are loud and annoying and when she is shifted into a horse they bite her, she just all around hates flies.
- Meat: Thea is a vegetarian, meat products make her sad for the animals that had to die. Though she understands that it is a natural part of life she doesn't like it.

She allows everyone else to have problems and struggles but she doesn't let herself be anything less than perfect and when she doesn't meet her impossible standards her whole world comes crashing down.
Overall: [400 words minimum]
Above all, Thea is kind. She knows that everyone has a story behind their actions and ambitions and whether that story is good or bad, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is who that person is now. She loves without restraint and doesn’t expect anything in return. However, she holds herself to the standard of always being happy and always being the one to brighten someone’s day. She struggles with allowing herself to be upset and instead of admitting that she is sad or angry she keeps it tucked inside; if Thea is upset how can she be expected to help others find happiness? It is better if no one knew.
Moreover, when she is angry at someone she tends to take that anger and turn it on herself, calling herself stupid and unsympathetic of the other person’s past. Thea would never be caught yelling at someone for acting unjustly towards her. But if someone acts unjustly or cruel to one of her close friends you can hear her voice echoing ‘round the world. She calls the person out rather than tearing them down, respects who they could be and shows them their errors. For example, if someone were hit one of her friends she would probably say something along the lines of “How dare you! Do you really think that hitting her is going to prove anything to anyone? You know you’re better than that. You have the ability to do great things, so why are you acting like a coward?”
Though she understands a dangerous person when she sees one, she doesn’t let the fact that you may appear dangerous hinder her from having a conversation with you. The only problem is when the person appears wonderful and pretends to be so but is really manipulative and hard hearted, Thea can’t recognize it. Once gaining Thea’s full trust it is no great accomplishment to take advantage of her. She always sees the best in people. This quote from Pride and Prejudice sums up this facet of Heather’s personality quite well, “With your good sense, to be honestly blind to the follies and nonsense of others!...To be candid without ostentation or design — to take the good of every body’s character and make it still better, and say nothing of the bad — belongs to you alone.” It is both a strength and a weakness, though Thea is likely to only see it as a strength.
...appearance

Celebrity Play By:Anna Popplewell
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Thea’s skin is fair and though she likes to spend time outside the gift of tanning does not belong to her. Light brown freckles cover her cheeks and nose giving her an almost child-like appearance especially when paired with one of her classically kind grins. Her lips are naturally rosy and full though somewhat crooked making her look authentic as opposed to plastic. The one feature that really stands out about her face would be her shockingly blue eyes. The pitch dark pupil surrounded by a fountain of ice blue fenced in by a ring the color of an angry sea, provides her face with rich dynamics not usually granted to fair skinned girls. In stark contrast to her skin, however, Thea’s hair is a dark brown which falls in loose curls around her face.
Thea is of a shorter height and smaller weight than the average sixteen-year-old girl though is not lacking a distinct hourglass figure. She not incredibly strong by anyone’s standards but she is sure footed and enjoys a healthy dose of exercise, especially running. Thea walks like a lady, with her shoulders back and head held high; there is no reason to slouch or sink down, why not be sure of yourself and show it simply by the way you walk? The only “unnatural” thing on her body would be her ear piercings, she doesn’t like any other type of piercings for herself, but couldn’t care less about others preferences, the same goes for tattoos.
Though Thea prefers to be smiling at all times, when she focuses her eyebrows knit together and the corners of her lips pull down, her face bearing an internally oriented expression. Other than that there is nothing else that would display Thea’s emotions save for a few quirks. When she’s anxious or stressed Thea tends to bite her lip and pull on her thumb, but can switch it off if someone walks up to her. All other emotions Thea only exhibits through her music.
Animal:
Thea shifts into an Arabian Horse who are a smaller breed. Arabians have dense bones and sound feet making them excellent for long distance rides. Though she is not exceptionally strong, she is solid without appearing menacing. Thea almost has the appearance of having rolled around in soot, with a silver head and back that dapples into charcoal black at her cannons. Her mane is a medium length ranging from dark grey to white, complimenting her coat color. Thea’s eyes are bright and clear giving her face a kind and loving expression.

Heather Wilson was born into an average, respectful, American family. Heather’s father had just gotten the position of Youth Pastor at the church her parents were attending and growing up she spent much of her time there. There is not a moment in Heather’s life where she can’t remember church being in the equation. She became a Christian when she was five, much to the delight of her parents and her father’s fellow pastors. The Wilson family was known for their uprightness, dedication to doing what is good, and the happiness that seemed to follow them wherever they went. At a young age the pressures of being a pastor’s daughter began to manifest themselves. Everyone expected Heather to always say the right thing and to make the right choices and when she would fail to meet their standards she beat herself up about it, telling herself that she should have known better.
As her younger siblings were born more responsibility was placed on her, more expectation and less tolerance for mistakes. She was sweet and good tempered and loved people but she began to resent her upbringing and made sure to keep her resentment a secret from her family and church friends. When she was 14 she entered into a relationship with an 18-year-old boy named Tyler, this too she kept a secret. He was kind and caring and made her feel special, she trusted him and loved him. As their relationship progressed he consistently pushed Thea farther than she wanted to go, yes she loved showing him affection, but he always wanted more.
One night Tyler asked her to meet him in the woods, what she thought was going to be a romantic walk was going to be something completely different. He led her further and further in and pressed her once again to cross her boundaries, when she refused, he wrestled her to the ground. Her heart was pounding against her ribs as she struggled and she was sure they were going to shatter. And they did. Or at least they felt like it. Her bones began to pop and bend, her knees turned backwards, everything changed into a greenish-yellow color no longer able to see colors normally. She wasn’t aware of what was going on other than the agonizing pain that was reverberating through her body. Through her screams she heard another person screaming, Tyler. Her eyes landed upon him and his horrified face. She stretched out her arms to push him away, Thea felt the bone in Tyler’s chest snap as her arms made contact, not knowing what to do she turned and ran. Faster than she had ever run before, tlot-tlot she heard. No, no, she couldn’t be. She tried to push the horrifying realization from her mind, but it was too late. She had seen the hooves land squarely on Tyler’s chest, and she could feel that her body was different. Thea kept on running not caring where she went. Tlot-tlot, tlot-tlot. Further still, if she just kept running everything would be alright.
Thea awoke to the dewy sunrise, not knowing where she was, completely naked and alone. She wasn’t even sure what had happened. Had she been raped? Was it all a nightmare? Did she really change into--… She got to her knees and began to pray, her lips moving soundlessly to the words she was too afraid to speak aloud. She prayed for it to have just been a dream, she prayed for forgiveness for attacking Tyler, she prayed that Tyler would be safe, she prayed that some woman would find her, she prayed and prayed, tears streaming down her face, Please let it not be true, please let it not be true.
Before Thea had finished her prayer she heard rustling in the leaves behind her, “Oh my…Are you alright?” She turned her head towards the voice, it was a woman carrying a towel and extra clothes, apparently coming from a swim in a nearby river. Thea explained as best she could, leaving out all the parts that made her sound insane. The woman gave her clothes to Heather, called 911 to search for Tyler, and escorted Thea home.
As soon as she was home Thea completely broke down to her mother, telling her everything that happened, not holding anything back. Joanna explained shifting to her daughter and gave her the choice of staying and trying to live normally with the other humans as Joanna, herself, had done, or leaving to go to Shifter Academy. Heather decided to stay, at least for a while. Tyler was in the hospital for a month before being released. Both he and Thea honor an unspoken oath to never tell the events of what happened for the safety of both parties. However, too much information had been leaked out to the new stations and school became intolerable for Thea. She even changed schools, but it didn’t help anything. Finally with much urging from her mother, Thea is now attending Shifter Academy.

Shepherd walked slowly across the dusty earth, it was hard to believe that this had once been a lake. The darkness had set in and as he walked, he looked up, letting his eyes pass over the vast expanse of starts that looked like lint on the black velvet that was the sky. Looking back down he spat in disgust. He hated the stars. The hugeness of it all. He felt small, alone, out of control when he looked at what people spent their whole lives gazing at. Yes, the starts were beautiful, yes they were marvelous, but they were something that seemed to mock his need to control. In fact, most things in life seemed to laugh at him. The weather, the ground, the law. All things he had no power over.
He had lost focus on where he was going and when he pulled himself out of his thoughts he found himself near the door to the "Wreck" Room. A soft gentle voice and the strum of a guitar floating through the night breeze to his ears. God, he loved music. He walked right up to the door without looking inside, and instead of passing over the threshold, he turned and placed his back against the outside wall near the doorframe. Wolf stood and listened, closing his eyes. Music was controllable, and something about it touched the innermost of his being.
This song was familiar, forgetting the person inside he pulled his lips apart and let a few lines of the song rumble out of his chest, his rough low voice would have been nice, that is, if he could sing at all. Tone deaf, some said. But he still loved to make music flow forth from over his lips. Unknowingly he let his voice grow steadily louder, the notes cracking in his throat.
Wolf was so caught up in his singing that he didn't even realize that the music had stopped. He continued on, the last chorus echoing through his body. As the song came to a close his eyes opened, very wide I might add, when he realized that the music was no longer playing, and that the woman inside had obviously heard him because she had just snapped "who's there" at him. He slapped his hand onto his forehead. If there was one thing he hatted more than the stars, it was being embarrassed. He felt the heat rush to his face. The thought of just leaving passed through his mind for a split second. But only a second before he became disgusted at himself and pushed the ridiculous idea from his head. Running away was not an option. Wolf was defiantly not a coward. And it was only a girl inside, no biggie, if he played it right he might get something out of this encounter. The heat left his face almost as quickly as it had come.
Crossing his arms in front of his chest he turned, standing in the doorway and looked into the room at the musician. A crooked smile spread onto his face as he let his mind try to come up with various reasons to her sentence at Camp Green Lake. "I'm Wolf." He announced, leaning against the door frame. "Break in and attempted rape." He liked to get all that out first, Wolf felt tough saying it. Though he would never try to rape again, he wore it like a badge of honor. He walked into the room and took a few steps closer to her, letting his eyes take in her clenched fists. "You play really well." Running a hand through his dirty blonde hair, he stopped his feet when he was only a few feet away from the couch. Shepherd's smile grew a little, he couldn't get over the fact that there were girls at Camp Green Lake.[/size]
