Sam is a smart guy. He is out going, likes to hang out, a trust worthy friend, and likes hanging out with girls, but he's no player. He loves photography and drawing, which is why he majors in the Bachelor of Arts/ Art and Design. Sam is also a quick learner, so he can pick things up pretty quick. He also doesn't go around starting trouble for that's what he hates. So he learns to stay in his place. He's a kind of a person who enjoys to hang out, he does like peace and quiet at times. He loves being outside, especially at night.

The thing he loves the most though is shifting. For Sam it's the greatest thing ever, he loves to run out at night, or sometimes even during the day. He likes feeling the wind run through his fur. When it rains he likes to leap into puddles or sometimes while he's a wolf he sits out in the rain, feeling the drops soak him up. While at home he likes hearing the rain outside, also hearing the faint boom of the thunder. He finds it relaxing. Sam hates dry or humid areas. He especially hates the beach, though he will go. He won't go in the water, the reason is because of the sand. But he just avoids going to the beach in general.

Sam has a big family so he is family oriented. But mostly only because his family is part wolf and they all look out for each other. He's very protective of the ones close to him, even people who aren't family members. People like close friends or a loved one. If something ever happened to them he would go out for revenge. If someone ever tried to pick a fight with him he wouldn't back down. They wanted a fight, he's gunna give them one.

He is the friend someone would want. If they need help he would be there. If he saw someone he didn't even know getting beat on and he/she didn't deserve it he's gunna stick up for that person. He also feels it gives him an excuse to beat down the bully. It comes with the wolf inside him. If he is around violence he's also going to be violent also.

Sam has blueish gray eyes. He has Straight, Dark Brown hair. He usually grows his hair out. He rarely cuts his hair, but when it's long he styles it upward. Sam is 6' tall and weighs 185 lbs. He has an average build with a slight muscular build. Sam has gotten into many fights with other wolves and dogs. Leaving him a few scars on his body. On his left leg he has a bite mark. On his right shoulder he has another bite mark. And his last scar is on his back, which is a long gash going from his left shoulder to across down to his mid back.

Sam likes to dress stylish, but not real fancy. For upper apparel he wears V-neck t shirts, v-neck sweaters and rolls up the sleeves, T-Shirts with small designs on them, and collar shirts, also just plain shirts as well. For pants he sticks to gray, dark blue, and black skinny or straight fit jeans. For shoes he loves wearing converse. When Sam goes to shift or during those times he feels he might shift sometime during that day he usually wears a tang-top with basket ball shorts or just jean shorts.

Being he is part wolf it gives him a slight strength enhancement, which is why he has the slight muscle build in his human form. It also increases his sense of smell. As a wolf he stands 3 feet from the feet to his shoulder. In length from his nose to the tip of his tail he's 6 feet, like in his human form. While in his wolf form his eyes are the same blueish gray as in his human form. As a wolf he weighs 140 lbs. So he's lighter than his human form. The color of his fur is black on his back and on the tip of his tail. His face is grey, and he had gray stripes around his neck and back. Then the whole lower part of his body is light grey and white.

Sam was born into a family of wolves. At least most of his family could shift into wolves. His mother could shift into a wolf and so could Sam's grand mother and father. Sam's mother gave birth to two other children. Lisa and Max, Lisa was a shifter but Max turned out not to be a lucky one. Max was a year older than Sam, when Sam turned 10 his mother told him that he was a shifter like her. Max got very jealous, It was because of this the reason why Max and Sam fought a lot. His mother told him while he was young so he would be better prepared for this first shift.

While he was young, him and his other siblings went to regular public school. During gym Sam was always slightly stronger than most of the other students, and fast. At 12 Sam could run for long periods of time without getting tired while doing the mile. When Max turned 14 he eventually ran away from the family. His mother searched for him but he was never found.

Eventually Sam had his first shift while at school one day. His mother told Sam that his first shift would probably be a violent one, or probably caused by some emotion. Sam's mother's first shift was when she went to visit her dead grandmother at the cemetery. While there she cried and later shifted. Sam was in the hallway when one kid tried to pick on Sam. He pushed him around and Sam began to get angry. The kid shoved Sam one more time then Sam cracked. Suddenly he shifted into a wolf in front of many kids. Sam as a wolf then bit the bully on his leg tearing and braking it. Eventually someone hit Sam on the back with a heavy book bag and he snapped out of it. While he was still in wolf form and ran out of the school.

For the rest of the afternoon Sam couldn't shift back to human dew to his anger. When the bully got out of the hospital he had lost a lot of blood and broke his leg. He also had 25 stitches in his leg for it was badly tared up. Police was sent to Sams house but his family managed to leave before anyone found him. Since then his family has been living in Hawaii.

Feeling guilty Sam ran away and has been on the run until he turned 17. Then he found Shifter academy by talking to another wolf who used to go there.

• Better off with a Pack - Unlike a loner they are more prone to be in trouble by running into other packs and getting hurt. But like a wolf in a pack you always have a friend to fight for you and your never alone. Until Sam was booted out.

It was a long day of public human school. In human high school Sam felt really out of place, he could tell no one of his secret and it killed him. In gym he was top of the class, like he could run the mile way quicker than the kids on the track team and he could do it without stopping for a breath. He wouldn't feel so out of place if he knew others like him, well at least in the school. His two other siblings Lisa and Jordan went to another public school. Sam originally went to his current school with his other brother Max. But he left the pack a year ago leaving Sam alone. But they never got along anyway.

The whole time during class Mr. Ferguson had the class take notes from their text books. Sam definitely didn't feel like taking notes. Sam was in a bad mood at that time everyday for after class he always crossed a jerk named William. He always picked on Sam cause he was such an outcast. It really pissed Sam off, last time he got picked on Sam got really angry and his insides began to burn, he felt like he was going to pop.

As Sam sat there doodling in his notebook the bell rang. Sam immediately grabbed his bag and notebook and walked out first. He couldn't stand another run in with William and was going to try to beat him to his next class. But as he was walking William bumped his chest right into Sam making him drop his notebook and bumping into the locker beside him. Sam sucked his teeth and went down to grab his notebook. Will then stepped on it. Sam stood back up and faced Will "You know what Billy boy, your really getting annoying." Will then stepped close and shifted his body in a way to look more intimidating.

When he did that Sam thought of a wolf, using it's body to express things. "You know what boy, that ssmart mouth of yours is gunna get you in a lot of trouble someday and that day is today. Will then shoved Sam into the locker. Sam then got that intense burning feeling in his body again. Last time it was only in his chest, but now it was all over. Sam gasped for air as he felt his chest beginning to crack and move, and his spine began to curve downward. Sam's veins were visible on his neck as he began to grunt. Then Sam roughly pushed Will back making him stubble.

Sam then shouted out loud as all of the bones in his body suddenly felt like they broke in half. Then in less than a second they seemed to heal back but were shifting into a different form. Sam's teeth and gums began to split and and burn. All of his teeth began to shift, Sam closed his eyes and he suddenly lost all feeling in his body for a good 30 seconds. Suddenly he heard People around him yelling and gasping.

As soon as he opened his eyes everything was gray and white. Suddenly without thought Sam leaped forward and bit Will's leg. Sam's canine teeth sunk beep into his leg making him scream like a girl. Kids around began to scream and run. Will tried crawling away but Sam had a good grip on him. Sam could taste Will's blood running into his mouth and leaking from the leg and out his mouth. Suddenly a boy behind Sam took his bookbag and slammed it onto Sam's back making him whimper and let go. Sam snapped out of it and saw what happened. Will was on the floor crying holding his leg as blood leaked from it. IT was torn really bad from when Sam was hit and he jerked his head back.

Sam realized he was on all fours. He saw his ripped clothes on the floor under him. The kid who hit him was already running away. Sam looked into Will's eyes as Will looked into his. Will had a terrified look on his face as if he saw his first scary movie. They sat there for about 15 seconds before Sam ran away and out of the school. Into the streets where pedestrians were running away from the wild wolf.
