Overall: In the past year or slow, Missy has undergone a change, and it’s one that’s still being undergone. She has changed from being a sweet, adorable little ‘Daddy’s girl’ to becoming, quite simply, a teenager. Whereas she once would have given complete obedience to authority figures, now she’s more likely to spit a curse. Whereas once she would have just kept her anger contained, now that’s not an option. Missy’s developed some issues with anger management and mood swings. There’s plenty of things that make her angry, but sometimes it’s the smallest things that make her go completely off the rails. Although she’d never admit it, she scares herself sometimes. Not knowing when she’s going to get so angry she’s at risk of hurting those around her, it takes its toll. She never really thought about it before, but she hates goody goodies now, as well as authority figures and people who try to push her around. That’s why she started learning martial arts – so on the physical side of things, she has a bit to back herself up with. She hates bullies who attack their victims for no reason at all and in cold blood. However, she turns a blind eye to those who bully for a reason and those who bully in the heat of the moment. These two reasons for bullying are the two excuses she tells her conscience, when she does it herself.
Overall she’s a rebellious girl with anger management issues that sometimes get out of control. Although it’s no longer on the surface, when you get to know her you’ll find that she’s caring and gentle.

Celebrity Play By: Lindsay Lohan
Appearance:
Missy’s fairly pretty, not that she thinks of herself as such. Her once red hair is now naturally wavy and a strawberry blond colour. It comes down to about an inch above her belly button, but it’s not as thick as she’d like it. Her clear, strong blue-grey eyes are her favourite physical feature. She has delicate, pink lips, that she has been told are irresistably kissable. Those words came from dubious sources, however. Her arms, back and shoulders are heavily freckled. When she was younger, her face was too, but now it’s only lightly freckled. Her body isn’t incredible as a whole, but she’s well proportioned and slender, with a decent sized bust despite her age. As puberty shows more and more her hips slowly widen, giving her a more womanly figure.
Missy’s fashion style ranges between punk princess and tough hip hop. She has elbow high, fingerless skull gloves that she adores, as well as ripped jeans, not that she would ever wear them together. What she wears depends on where she’s going, who she’s seeing, and what type of mood she’s in. She usually goes for the tough look when she’s meeting people for the first time, because she loves being thought of as rebellious and tough. When she going out she usually goes for punk princess. She’d also love to get piercings at the tops of each ear and one or two off centre lip piercings, along with dyeing her hair. Tattoos, as well, she’d love. She’s started thinking seriously about what tat she would get if she could get one. Something on the inside of her wrist appeals to her, maybe a butterfly, or some writing. As for makeup, Missy’s still quite young. She wears eyeliner fairly often, or eyeshadow, but never foundation because her skin’s just fine as it is, to the envy of many.
Her animal form is a common raven. When she’s in her animal form she’s completely black, from her eyes to her feet and her feathers. Her feathers are sleek.

...history

Siblings: Older brother: Zander Alesnia (11th grade)
[400 words minimum]
Missy was born in a tiny town. The sort of town where a resident getting a speeding fine was the hot goss. Right after she was born, her father left her, Zander, and her mother. Zander was her brother, older than her by three years. He loved her, and they always played together. He was always shy with other kids, but not with her. Their mother, Alisia, was great to them. She was gentle, kind and above all, well-meaning, although she tended towards being on the over-protective side. That was a tendency that only got worse as the two children got older. When Missy was seven her friends organised a massive sleepover, the sort of thing that gets talked about forever and is so much fun. Her mother told her she couldn’t go. She demanded a reason, but her mother told her to do as she was told and get out of her face. Missy wouldn’t talk to her for a whole day, and sulked in her room instead. Of course, she soon got sick of sulking and conviniently forgot about her pledge to never talk to her mum again.
Despite the rare tantrum or two, Missy was a sweet little girl. With her heavy dusting of freckles, big eyes and a charismatic manner, there were few who could resist her. In fact, she got rather sick of being patted on the head and having thousands of adults talk over her head and tell her mother how sweet she was.
When Missy was thirteen, her mother took her on a private, guided tour of a cave network. Missy looked forward to it, and was very excited when it was finally time. The guide talked about safety and then led them down. Missy felt sick as soon as they entered the caves. She felt lightheaded for a moment before the fear really kicked in. Then all she could think about was escaping. Suddenly, her bones began to melt and shift, and she began to shrink, and grow feathers. Squawking as loudly as her raven form was capable of, she flapped madly around, hitting the guide, her mother, the ceiling and the door that had swung shut behind them. She couldn’t get out. She threw herself against the wall and fell to the floor. Everything went black.
When she awoke, she was told that she was to be sent to the same place that her brother had been sent. She was scared of what was happening to her, nervous about seeing her brother again, excited about going to a new place and making new friends, and confused by the sexual and romantic feelings she’d been developing for girls lately. Isn’t being a teenager just so much fun!
...connecting human to animal
Ravens are intelligent birds, just as Missy is an intelligent girl. They’re also confident, a trait that Missy, for the most part, shares. Curiosity is another one. She doesn’t like letting things go, and she can be as stubborn as hell if that’s what it takes to get her curiosity satisfied. Also, the sheer fact that they can fly, and escape the restraints that bind others is a powerful metaphor for Missy herself. She doesn’t have to make herself the same as everyone else to be able to fit in.

Missy turned when she heard Luke call her name, and a smile broke out across her face.
“Hey,” she said.
“Missy,” he said. “I was wondering if you’re free this weekend.”
“Yeah, I’m free.”
“Would you like to go to the movies? Just us?”
“I’d love that.”
“See you round, then.”
Missy felt like doing the whole tween girl squealing thing. A date with Luke Thompson! He was one of the hottest guys in the school. Two years older than her, she couldn’t believe he liked her. The most important question was, what would she wear? Clothes, hair, makeup? This was a fashion emergency.
*^*^*^*^*^
He’d put the armrest up, and she’d leaned on his shoulder. They’d stayed this way the whole movie. As the credits came up and everybody filed out, he turned his head and kissed her on the lips. Missy’s heart and pulse went psycho. It was more than just a peck. He sucked gently on her lips before getting more intense. His tongue gently toyed with hers. Then his hands moved from their former position of being wrapped around her waist. They travelled up her shirt and began to fondle her chest. Taken by suprise, Missy froze. Then she tried to gently push his hands away. He didn’t stop. She tore herself away and slapped him across the face.
“What’s the matter, babe?” He smirked at her. “I’m just getting started.”
He slapped her butt.
“Get your hands off me!” she screamed, finding her voice again.
“Touchy, touchy. You know you want me.”
She stood up.
“You’re a perverted asshole,” she sneered.
Then, just for the sheer satisfaction it would give her, she cracked him another one, before stalking off. She didn’t look back, but as soon as she was out of the theatre she broke into a run.
“Dickhead,” she muttered to herself.
She was lot more shaken than she would admit to herself. Right then and there she vowed to never go on a first date alone with anyone older than her again. Also, she would start learning self-defense. Never again would she let anything like that happen to her. She sped up, desperate to get to the main part of the cinema, where there were other people around.
“Bethany!” she called, relieved.
As Missy’s mum was working, her bestie Bethany had come to walk her back to her house where they’d hang out until late.
“How was it!”She squealed.
“He couldn’t keep his hands to himself.”
“Oh my god, Missy. Have you called dibs on busting his head open, or can I?”
Missy laughed.
“I slapped him twice and called him a perverted asshole. I’ve got no idea how I managed to keep it to that.”
“Neither have I.”
“You know, Beth, I think there’s some kind of genetic defect in the guys of today. They’re either hot or nice, never both.”
“I disagree with you there. They can be both, they just have to be gay as well.”
“Touche.”
“Are you okay, Missy?”
“I don’t know,” Missy admitted. “I think I’m in shock.”
“You gonna vow to never date again?”
“No. I’m hardly about to go out with someone tomorrow, but I’ll get over it.”
