Birth Name: Kotori Paige SinClair
Nickname
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Grade: 11
Birth date: January 21st
Program: Bachelor of the Arts
Major: Dance
Major Explanation: To her, dancing is the only thing that comes close to flying when not in an animal shift. You can soar across the dance floor with ballroom dancing, dive with your own style, and just let yourself push all the worries away for a moment and let the feeling of the music overcome you. To her, it is flying. She loves flying, and always has loved to dance. She holds no grudges against any form of dance, and trying out new dances to her is like telling her to learn a new style of flying. She loves it; possibly to the point of craving it.
Animal Identity: Peregrine falcon
...personality
Likes:(at least 10)
- Being alone;; People don’t seem to think someone can be perfectly happy just being alone; but Kotori is. She has never needed anyone but herself, and she has always believed that. She has never needed friends to boost her self-esteem, she has never needed to confide in anyone else her troubles, and she has never felt compassion for anyone outside of her family. She doesn’t need anyone, and she is perfectly content with being as alone throughout her life. At least, she believes she won’t need anyone else.
- Being herself;; As weird as it sounds, when she isn’t in her shift or dancing, she feels like her skin is crawling. She loves to be free, and she honestly doesn’t feel free when she is in the company of any humans. They ground her; force her to pull on a mask for the sake of her kind. She is not herself when she in human form, she does not like it much either. If she could, she would shift and that would be the end of it. She wouldn’t look back, she would just let her human troubles melt away and she would let instinct take her over… but she is grounded by one thing she doesn’t mind; her family is possibly the only thing keeping her from doing that. So while she enjoys being her free self; she does have one thing holding her back.
- Dancing;; Okay, bit of a given, but okay. She loves to dance, because it is the only way she feels she can fly. When she is flying, she doesn’t have to worry about anyone else or anything, she can be herself and not have to worry about what they will do to her. When she is flying, there is nothing that can hurt her. She is invincible, only worrying about what she is doing. Kotori loves just feeling the beat of the music, and becoming in tune with that. It’s like testing the air currents in the wind.
- Flying;; Is there much to say here? She is a bird, and flying leaves everything else back on the ground. No one can harm her; she is a predator in the skies. She is one of the fastest birds alive, leaving all her worries speeding back to the ground as she takes off. The feeling of the wind is indescribable, being able to tell when to turn is nothing but natural. Before her first shift, she had always turned her eyes to the sky, envying the birds with their freedom. Now; now she is one.
- Forests;; Sure, the canopy closes off the sky, but she loves walking around in the forests just to… walk. She lives out in the country, where if there isn’t a farm, there are trees. She spent much of her childhood in the forest, exploring things and causing some trouble. The Treefilled Forest is a good substitute, and if she isn’t dancing or flying… she is probably found there. It is her sanctuary, for she knows she can’t run away from all of her problems at the present, and that is a very good place to just wonder while you mull over things.
- Ice skating;; Ice skating is flying on ice. She lives where there are a lot of ice rinks within driving distance, and spends a lot of her time there. She loves the challenge of skating, even if it does involve pain when she falls. It is even better than dancing, in her opinion. If she could, she would have majored in figure skating, but seeing as that is not possible; she is left with dancing.
- Music;; Dancing without music is dancing to no beat. You cannot soar without wind, and you cannot dance without music. Classical junk and most instrumental music is beyond her taste; she can’t stand it. Anything with a beat that she can follow is good with her, and the faster the beat the more she likes it. She is often found counting the music in her head, with her eyes closed and fingers tapping the desk. The music to her dancing is the wind to her wings; she couldn’t live in her human form without it.
- Reading;; Yes, as weird as it might seem, she loves to read. She mostly reads on things of fiction, stories that tell of a fictional character’s abilities to surpass those around them. Weak characters annoy her. She picks out weaknesses in characters as she picks out weaknesses in the people around her, and preys on that until her mind finds a simple mention of the name repulsing. At least with reading, she can just throw the book out a window at some innocent bystander.
- Risks;; She can dive at speeds of 200 mph; she loves the thrill of being in danger. She loves it when her blood pounds in her ears, when the adrenaline pushes through and gives the fight or flight choice, and when she feels like there is no way out and then she can just fly away. She loves to throw her life on the line, and you can count she will act before she thinks about something. Does this include fights? Why yes, it does.
- Speed;; No, not the bad thing. Speed, as in getting a big race car and speeding down the highway like a bat out of heck. Being able to shift into one of the fastest birds known to man has definitely gotten to her head, and she knows it, but she pays it no mind. She loves sports cars, racing boats, and anything that can near her speed in flight. She is most certainly always trying to live her life up to her shift.
- Water;; As out of the blue as her liking reading, she loves water. It is strange, but she loves how it can be so gentle one moment and then be a raging current that destroys everything in its path the next. It is wild, untamable, and as free as a bird in flight. She also loves how the rays of the sun look like under water, but that is a rather odd joy she doesn’t know the source of. It looks so different than it does when she is in the sky.
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Being grounded;; She hates it when she can’t fly. She hates being trapped in a form without wings, where she can’t reach up to the sky and welcome the warm sun around her. She does not enjoy feeling connected to the Earth itself, and in truth she only wants to fly. She feels trapped on ground, like she is swimming through a maze with no end in sight. It angers her, and it shows.
- Crowds;; She likes being alone, so it only makes sense for her to hate crowds. In crowds she feels as trapped as she does when she is grounded, and mostly for the fact she is only in crowds when she is grounded. She likes her space, and when someone invades on it she does get very, very angry. She is not claustrophobic, but she doesn’t like people in her space. She does not fly in a flock, and she never will.
- Death;; Surrounded by death her whole life, she can honestly say she doesn’t like it, and maybe fears it to some degree {even if she won’t admit it to herself}. Death is so…final, and it leaves everything in its wake weighed down with grief and fear. She does not like being weighed down as such, for that is something she can’t forget even while dancing, or even flying.
- Enclosed spaces;; If she can’t see the sky, save for in a forest, she feels like a caged bird. She gets restless, tapping a pen or her foot to try and calm her nerves. In her human form, the sky is her only link to her freedom. Take that away, and you take away who she is. Not even dancing can bring that back, and she becomes a wreck of nerves and built-up stress.
- Fear;; She doesn’t like being afraid of things. This is why she acts first and thinks later. If she doesn’t give room to let fear settle in, she won’t have to worry about anything. Fear makes her feel weak, and useless, like a bird with a broken wing. It shatters the soul and places unneeded doubts into the mind. It is an annoying nuisance, and it annoys her more when she sees someone else afraid of things. Suck it up and deal.
- Fire;; As much as she likes being free, fire is something she doesn’t like. She won’t go near it, because it is more hostile than she is. She doesn’t like how unpredictable it can be. While it leaves nothing but destruction in its wake, as water can do, water is somewhat predictable. She doesn’t like being caught off guard, and the wicked flame of fire with rage rivaling her own is no exception.
- Humans;; They are weak, worthless, and nothing but scum on the bottom of her shoe. Kotori is forced to wear a mask and shroud who she is because her kind doesn’t want to be found out. If someone rose up against whoever governed the shifters and spoke out to the humans in rival of being treated like evil secrets to the rest of the world, she would back them up fully. She does not believe the shifters should be the ones to hide, and it should be the humans to cower from them. Any human be prepared to get lashed out at.
- Pain;; Pain is something she cannot tolerate. She does not have any pain tolerance, and it annoys her to no end. She will do anything to avoid getting hurt-at least seriously so. Small things like paper cuts she doesn’t like, but she will tolerate. Pain disables the body, crippling any hope one might have. She doesn’t like it, and will go to any length to avoid it. Does it sometimes interfere with her risk-taking side? Yeah, but the whole act first think later thing includes worrying about injures later, at least it normally does.
- Pranks;; Well, she should make it clear she doesn’t like pranks pulls on her. Playing pranks on others she doesn’t mind, but when she is the victim you can be certain she will hunt down whoever did it and put them in as much pain as she can. A bit hypocritical, yes, but it is logic in her mind.
- Shifter Academy;; She despises the school. Everyone here is so happy, happy to accept the role of the generations before them. They hold no want to come out from hiding, no want to take the spot they rightfully own on the predator list. They are happy to fall back and be treated like vermin, forced to hide from sight. Out of sight didn’t mean it is out of mind, and she is ticked off how these people do not stand up to their human counterparts.
Fears: (At least 3)
- Truth;; She is afraid of the truth. She is afraid of the truth of not only what she is, but of what others are as well. She does not want to hear the truth of who she is, or what she is. She is mean, rude, and shows no empathy for others, and she is afraid of others finding out who she really is. She is, in truth, someone who likes to go on mindless walks in the forest and reads books… and she doesn’t let many see her like that. In the same fashion, she doesn’t let herself get close to others because she doesn’t want to find out who they really are. If she knows the truth about someone, then she will feel obligated to learn more about them.
- Being trapped;; She is absolutely terrified of the idea of being trapped. Whether it be trapped in her human form, trapped in a cage, or just trapped in general, she fears the idea of it. In fact, she has nightmares about being closed off from the sky, left never to spread her wings again. This does include injuries that leave her unable to dance, such as breaking a leg and the like.
- Being helpless;; She has a strong personality, and when that shatters, she feels like she is helpless. She feels as though she should always be able to help herself, and when that is compromised then she feels insecure and worthless. When that happens, she normally goes off somewhere and hides from the outside world. She feels weak, and her pride is in danger. She hates that feeling, and to a large degree, she fears it.
Strengths: (At least 3)
- Strength;; Not so much physical strength as a strong personality. Anyone that has even seen her and can read her posture at all can tell that she has a strong air around her. She takes pride in that strength, because she knows she can probably pull through most anything thrown at her emotionally. Insults directed at her have long since lost their effects on her, and she has lost her fretting over what others think of her.
- Dancing;; She honestly does look like a bird in flight when she dances. It is one of the times she can lose focus on anything but dancing, focusing on that and only that. She listens to the music she dances to as much as she can, getting the count and the rhythm of the song down. From there she can plan the dancing, the steps, and just let herself go with it once she has it down. She escapes to her own land and time, and nothing can threaten to shatter it there.
- Seeing others flaws;; She is good at looking at someone, seeing how they act not only with words but with how their body speaks for them, and pointing out their flaws. If she wasn’t taking a dancing major, she probably would have taken psychology or something of the sort, because she has been reading people like that ever since she could remember. She exploits that ability though, and is often left the rude person no one wants to be around.
Weaknesses: (At least 3)
- Ballet;; Not having a high pain tolerance, standing on the tips of your toes for hours on end doesn’t mix well with her. Your toes bleed, your foot cramps, and overall it is just a world of pain. She does not do ballet, and never will. She will do pretty much anything else otherwise, though. She can’t dance to the music either; she can never find the beat in it.
- Temper;; Kotori has a awful temper. Things can easily throw her over that line, and all heck breaks loose when she is over the line. Fights are not a foreign thing for her, and while she does not like pain she isn’t afraid to take a punch or two. Her temper does get her in mounds of trouble, but she doesn’t have any wish to learn to control it.
- Social;; Kotori, in all truth, doesn’t know how to act around people. When growing up, she was the prime target for bullies, and because of that no one wanted to be near her in fear they too would be bullied. Because of that she never had any real friends that weren’t ready to stab her in the back. After a while she grew to stop just taking the bullying, and that was when her history of fights began. Since then, she has been in defense mode and has never let that escape her personality.
Overall: [400 words minimum]
-- Angry&&Annoyed;;Kotori is a very angry person in general. She always seems to have a chip on her shoulder, and is always ready to lash out any anyone. Even teachers are not spared from her anger, and she has been forced to go to many therapists to try and find out the root cause of her anger. They have determined it is because of her childhood, of being bullied, but she knows the real cause is not only because of that, but because the people who rule over the Shifters think they should be hidden from the rest of humanity. She lives every day in anger, and doesn’t really care if she puts those around her in misery because of it.
She is annoyed at the world. There is no real reason why, other than she is slowly getting more and more irritated at the conditions she must live in. This is root for her short-tempered ways, and is most often the reason why she is so angry all the time. She has to hide who she is at all times, and it annoys her to the point it only fuels her anger at the rest of the world. She can be annoyed very easily, and that is when her anger rises to the point of bubbling over and she gets into the fights she does.
-- Arrogant&&Blunt;;Kotori is arrogant. To her, Shifters are above any and all humans. Shifters should not abide by the same laws the humans do, and the humans should be the ones left to cower at the sight of her kind. She also thinks herself better than some of the shifters, the ones she could beat anyways. Rodent, most reptilian, small mammal, and raptor shifters should be on guard when she is around; she only looks down on them. They are nothing but a nuisance, and she does not waste her time trying to get to know them on equal grounds; because they are not on equal grounds with her. With those with shifts larger than her, she still does not respect them. She sees them as an enemy that must be watched and her guard must be kept up at all times around.
Being blunt is something that comes natural to her. If she doesn’t like you; and she probably won’t, then she won’t try to be ‘buds’ with you unless she thinks she can gain something out of it. She does not soften the blow when telling others what she thinks of them, not even when they are on good terms with her. Now, being blunt truth-wise is something she will almost never do. While not everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie, she does have a fear of truth. She does not let herself see the good side of people, she does not allow herself to, because then she might feel the need to get to know them more. Thus, she focuses on the bad, and only that.
-- Broken&&Cold;;When I say Kotori is broken, I do not mean her will is broken. I mean it in a way that means she has had her trust broken. She does not trust easily, and probably never will. To get close to her, you not only have to get through her insults and bratty attitude, but also the fact she will probably turn you away. Other than her family, she doesn’t trust many, if any at all. To earn her trust is a major thing, and until she is fully sure of you, that trust will be balancing on a thin line. If you break that trust, you can count on being scolded by her anger, with a grudge against you that will never die.
Her outward appearance is… cold. In inner appearance is… cold. Even to those who get close to her, she still has her attitude, and she still is distant from them. There is almost never a warm smile on her face, or even any indication of one. Every part of her being seems determined to stick with the ice that she has surrounded herself in. She does not want to let anything else in, and anyone with any intentions to try and do that should steer clear of her. She will not change; she is perfectly content with a cold shell around her.
-- Confused&&Dark;;Ah, now for something not so dark and dreary. Kotori is, naturally confused. She gets confused easily over the simplest things, and yet she can get the hardest things. When she does try to explain something, it is often explained in a way few will understand it. She gets things that are confusing to others, but gets confused over things others think are easy to understand. It’s kind of like a game, when you pass the hard levels and then get thrown into an easy level and all of a sudden you can’t get past that one level that should be so easy to get through. Things that make sense to her don’t always make sense to others.
Oh, how to explain this one. Kotori is dark, and by a large degree of being so. She lets herself be surrounded by anger, coldness, and hate. She lets these all surround her in a wall that she has put up around herself. Her humor has been tainted by this, and she does find the oddest things funny. She is always on edge, always ready for a fight. Even her eyes hold a certain dark quality to them.
-- Defensive&&Determined;;Kotori is defensive about anything that has to do with her. She puts up walls and never lets them down, not even when she is around her family. These walls are meant to keep anything and everything out. She is always on her guard, expect those occasions when she is wondering in the forest or trying to find out something that has completely and utterly lost and confused her. She takes care not to let anyone too close to her, and you can count every ‘good’ thing she does, she will feel the need to balance it out with two ‘bad’ things. She likes being known as the girl no one wants to be around; it keeps people away from her.
Her determination is only rivaled by her hate for humans. When she has her mind set on something, there is rarely anything that will distract her or keep her from getting what she wants. She is stubborn as heck when it comes to her determination, and there are few things that will break that. Once she takes matters into her own hands, you can be sure that whatever it is she is after, she will get it done. Nothing stands in her way, and if they do, she will do everything to get them out of her way.
-- Focused&&Free;;Related to her determination; she is not easily distracted. Once her attention is on something, it will not break away. Distractions are of no use on her; if she sees something fishy going on and someone tries to distract her, she will push them away and find out what caught her attention in the first place. Sometimes, yes, she can be distracted, but at things like dancing and flying; no. Not unless something takes her by surprise.
Kotori is a free spirit. She likes to spread her wings and fly, and any time she can’t she feels like she is underwater without any air. Being caged is something that she absolutely does not like, and as you can tell; she will do anything to break free. She does not restrain herself in her dance, skating, or flying. Anyone that threatens that freedom will get the worst of her temper.
-- Greedy&&Heartless;;If there is something she wants, she will get it. She does not share her wealth, and she only cares about herself. If the picture does not have anything to do with her, she is not interested in it. There are few instances in which she will do something for anyone else but herself; and fewer instances when she will go out on a limb for anything or anyone.
Kotori is heartless. She does not feel anything for anyone but her family members. If you are having a down day, she will be there only to make it worse. If you fell, she will walk by with a snide remark trailing her steps. She honestly cares for few other than herself, save only for her close family. She will not shed a tear if someone at the school died, or be fazed if her actions hurt someone else. She just… doesn’t care.
-- Loner&&Lost;;Again, Kotori is perfectly fine being alone. She prefers the quiet, not being forced to talk to people and pull off a mask of interest when she would sooner throw them off a ledge than listen to them. She is only in her dorm when she is asleep, and otherwise she will not be friendly if they try to talk to her. Other than that, she would just simply ignore them. While she does study people and sometimes speaks out, most of the time she is sitting in a corner being quiet.
Ah… where to start on this one?
Ever since her brother died, Kotori has shut herself up and closed off everyone. Sure, the bullying didn’t help any, but it was that event that really turned her away from people. She didn’t speak for almost a year after that, and it was really only dancing that got her to do… anything other than stare out the window for days on end. She is still lost, the memory of her brother pushing forward every day. Maybe she doesn’t want to get close to anyone, because she might lose them too. Maybe she sees everyone as the ones who might have killed her brother.
-- Memory&&Observant;;Actually, she has a fairly good memory. She often will remember others names at the very least, and what she thinks of them. More than names and the like, she remembers things that happen a lot more easily. She will often be able to repeat lectures more or less by word for word back to someone, or in events tell someone exactly what happened. Memory doesn’t make up for everything, and even if she can remember dance steps easily it does not mean that she can perform flawlessly.
Overall, Kotori is fairly observant. She notices small things, and often watches people and how they react to certain things. She can point out weaknesses in people, and uses that against them if they try to bother her. If she can get a general gist of how they act, then everything is good for her. Yes, sometimes she will start fights, but normally she sits back and leaves things be unless she is pulled into something. Now, noticing things like where she left a pencil is beyond her… even if it is staring her in the face. She often looses things. Also she is completely ignorant if anyone were to tell her they liked her. She list… completely clueless in that aspect.

Celebrity Play By: Maki Goto
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
-- Basics;;Kotori stands at 5’3” and weighs 110 pounds. Her build itself is rather lean, a dancer’s figure. Her upper body muscles are weaker than say, the ones in her legs.
Her hair is cut short, with a slight wave to it, colored brown and black, mimicking the colors of her feathers in a fashion. Her facial features are well defined; having a slight ‘hooked’ nose that somewhat resembles a beak.
Her eyes are a dark brown. Most of her makeup colors are related to her hair, in the colors. She does sometimes wear lipstick and the like, but otherwise sticks with the mascara and eye shadow. Her ears are pierced, but other than that she has no piercings.
As you might tell, she is Asian; Japanese to be specific. Her skin tone is on the shade of dark, and she does have freckles that scatter along her face lightly.
-- Clothing;;She normally sticks to darker clothing. Browns, blacks, and other dark colors make up most of her collection of clothing, white often being the only light color to find its way into her wardrobe. Most of her dresses resemble her shift in some way, either by color or something else. She does wear other things than dresses though, and normally does so in fact. Hats, purses, shoes… she has a lot of different things that she wears. She has as many pieces of jewelry as she has outfits, as well.
One piece of jewelry she never takes off is a bracelet with one charm on it. The bracelet chain itself is black; the charm a light brown. The charm is in the shape of a falcon, and is pretty much the only thing she has left of her brother.
-- Shift;;Kotori shifts into a peregrine falcon. The falcons were trained to kill messenger pigeons in WWII, and for a good reason. They can reach speeds of 200 mph or more. Her feathers range from a light brown to a dark brown or black. Her back is most of the darker colors, her head having a ‘hooded’ color pattern that cuts into the lighter colors. Spots of black are scattered among her underbelly and under-wings, looking like ridges really. Her bead has a black tip, and eyes hold the same dark brown eye color that she has in her human form. Her size is average for female peregrine falcons, with a wingspan of about 44 inches.[/size]
...history
Parents: Airi {deceased} and Colin SinClair
Siblings:
[400 words minimum]
– Before Birth;;Airi SinClair was born in Japan. Her mother was Kotori Takahashi, and raised her as a single mother. When Airi was sixteen, the two moved to America to stay with family friends. Here, her mother passed away and she was left in the care of the friends of her family. She met Colin in school, both being shifters, and married him as soon as they got out of school. Her shift was a Siberian Lynx.
Colin SinClair was born in America, and had a rather wealthy family he was born into. Raised to be proper and know how to act in society, when he went to SA it was a rather rude awakening. When he was seventeen, he met Airi and started to talk to her. When he graduated, he waited a year before marrying her. Given blessings by his family, they moved out to the country and bought a rather expensive house in the middle of nowhere. Colin’s shift is a geko.
Airi and Colin parented three children; Kotori and her twin being the eldest, Kotori named after her grandmother, and one younger sibling. She died during childbirth when the youngest was born. They now live in the same house, and still have their family’s wealth. Colin works for Microsoft.
-- Birth;;Kotori was born on January 21, 1994. Five minutes later, her twin brother was born. Her parents were ages 24 {Airi} and 25 {Colin}. A year later, her youngest brother was born. Even with a wealthy father, they worked for what they got. They grew up working, and never knowing their mother, life was hard. Their father started drinking, and it was known that once he got past his third drink you were to leave him alone. He never hit them {not that she knows of}, but the kids grew up more-so with each other than with their father. The siblings were close.
-- Childhood;;Kotori has a rather normal childhood. She was bullied at school, but overall had a good life. Her brother was always there for her, and it helped. He would go after and punch the living daylights out of people that messed with her, and she would be the one who would help him take care of his wounds afterword. They made sure their younger brother was not bullied as they were, and that he had a somewhat normal schooling experience. When their father wasn’t drinking, they would go to fairs and small things like that. Overall, they all had a good childhood, even with the taunts and violence.
– Early Teenage;;When the twins were around eleven, they were all walking home from school one night, and it was like they came out of the shadows. They had weapons with them… crowbars, bats, and the like. Kotori’s twin brother pushed her and their youngest brother back, and it was like a pack of wild dogs. Kotori managed to knock several of them out by hitting the base of their neck, but when there were only four or so left she saw the glint of the blade. Her brother had already been beaten, and the blade was the thing that finished him off. The guys ran off, and her brother ran home to their father, Kotori trying to stop the bleeding, but by the time they got to the hospital it was too late. Three days later, her twin brother was buried and she and her brother were alone. Their father drank more than ever; and both children were quiet. For a year, she said nothing to anyone. Her grades went from A’s to D’s at best, and the bullies were never-ending. Finally, one day she had had enough, and she broke out in a fight.
That night, everyone ate in silence. She had a swollen lip, black eye, and several other bruises and cuts, and she still remembers how hard it was to eat. Her father had been drinking, and he tried to confront her. It only ended in a screaming match, and half-way through it she felt the need to run- to get away as quickly as she could. She took off from the house, and as soon as she closed the door she felt the burning, the sheer pain, and the agony that never seemed to end. Then it was gone, and she was in the air. Being from a shifting family, she knew what was going on, but it still took her a good three days to finally come home. She found her window to her bedroom open, and her father pulling her into a hug when she went downstairs. The next school year, she was sent to Shifter Academy, and that was all there was to it.
-- Now;;Every year on the day of his death, she flies home and spends the day at his grave, along with every birthday. She blames herself and the inferior humans for her brother’s death. Those are times that she is sure to miss school, and she really doesn’t care. She still grieves her brother’s death, and it shows.
She keeps herself away from others; partially because she is afraid they will hurt her, her younger brother, or even get hurt themselves. It’s not the entire part, but it is a part of it.
She hides everything behind a mask, and perfects that mask when she is dancing. During that time, she can focus on only dancing, and nothing else. She doesn’t have to worry about humans, other people, nor any troubles she might have. For that time, she can forget any emotions she still has and just be surrounded in a calm that takes everything over. It is like flying, and ice skating is even more so. It was that that, after a year of her brother’s death, finally got her talking to at least her family. Ice skating is something she really enjoys, even more than dancing.

[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
-- Hair;;As you can see, both have about the same colors in feather vs hair. She has always liked these colors, and now she knows why. She even styles her hair to look somewhat like the markings she has as a bird. Even though this does involve dying, her normal hair color relates to that of the darker feathers she has.
-- Eyesight;;Kotori has very good eyesight… in the day. Her night vision is worthless, but during the day she has about 15/20 vision, and really can see the fine details of things. Now, in the night, her eyes sight is normally in the 30/20 range, when it comes to seeing in the dark. Things do get a bit fuzzy because her eyes can’t adjust, and she does have a pair of glasses… somewhere… but normally she’s asleep at night, so.
-- Facial Features;;Can’t you see it? Her nose is slightly hooked to resemble a beak, her eyes and cheeks cured to mimic that of a bird’s, and even her body and build resembles that of the falcon.
-- Speed;;Kotori is actually… rather fast on her feet. If she didn’t have her hate for people, she might have tried out for track, but she doesn’t care much for ‘team participation’. She uses her speed in kickboxing, the fighting she uses the most when getting into fights. She keeps light on her feet, and it helps in both dancing and figure skating too. Granted, she does run pretty fast. Now, when running, her not tripping over her own feet or some minor this is a whooole other story. She isn’t a cat.
-- Predator;;Ah yes, she couldn’t point out and poke at things on her own, could she? The peregrine falcon’s main diet consists of other birds. To her shifters are no different than another bird. She notices small things that show weakness, and she preys on that. Just as she would if she were attacking a bird.
