------------------------------------------------LEOLYN’LEO’STARR------------------------ "Mmmmghmpth."
The words from the male were completely mumbled from his face in the pillow. Deep blue eyes looked up from the pillow and around the darkened room. There was a bit of cloudy weather coming in from the window on the other side of the room, which would explain why Tony was still passed out asleep on the other bed. Remi was not in sight.
Which meant that if he was hungry, he was going to have to go out into the storm.
"Bloody Hell. Alright I'm up."
He said mostly to himself as he pushed himself up onto his knees, and out from under his blankets. He ran a hand through his lightly mussed hair, straightening it only slightly, before scratching his nails across his bare chest.
It took him another moment or so of stretching before he got up and out of the bed, shivering lightly at the temperature of the room.
He stalked over to his dresser, pulling out a plain black t-shirt, and a dark blue sweater. He slid them on his body, being as quiet as possible to not disrupt Tony's sleeping. He pulled on a pair of jeans, knowing later that he was going to regret the action, but there was no way he was going to stalk over to the cafeteria in sweat pants.
He grabbed up his leather jacket, made sure he had his wallet, before taking a pen and putting a post it note on the back of the door. 'Dear Tony, went to the cafeteria, don't panic if I'm not back when you wake up. Text me if you need me, Leo'
He slid on his jacket, walked out the door and locked it before heading down the hallway, half wincing and ducking at the sound of thunder outside the door.
He had been out there before. He knew how loud it was outside. knew that he could just book it straight across the lawn and get to the cafeteria. He knew all of this, but that didn't keep him from being absolutely terrified of what laid right outside the door.
He took a couple of deep breaths, trying to calm himself, and hoped that no one noticed him staring out the door like the fraidy cat that he was.
There was a flash of lightning and he tensed, counting in his head, listening to the thunder, he was expecting it, but he still ducked. The dark haired boy took one last longing glance towards his nice safe dorm room before he pushed open the door and stepped outside.
Once more he was surprised at how much noise there was. How much a simple pane of glass cut down on the noise of the wind, rain, and thunder. And Once again he wished that this stupid bloody storm was over, because he was literally going to go crazy if it didn't.
He took in his surroundings, for a moment, shielded partly by the overhang of the roof. He locked onto his target and booked it as fast as he could. It only took him a few minutes to run all the way across to the doors of the Cafeteria, but even that left him dripping wet, and panting.
He pushed open the cafeteria doors, and stepped inside, trying to look as calm and collected as he could, though he probably failed to impress anyone. He glanced around once, found an empty seat as far away from the windows as possible, and took off his jacket and sweater, relieved that the shirt he was wearing was only partly damp. He set his things on a seat, claiming that as his spot, before he pushed a hand through his hair, shaking some of the water out, and styling it slightly, even though it was still dripping water all over the place.
What in the world was he going to eat? Hell what was he going to do after he ate? A trip in the rain was enough, more than that was suicide.

Amarantha sat at a table showing no interesting in the world at all. She was naturally quiet so that didn't bother her, she kept to herself, and generally, no one would bother her, though sometimes she wasn't very happy with that outcome. She was an awkward person, she always had been. That previous night, and much like the others when she was scared, she hadn't gotten much sleep, and it showed on her face, though her expressions were fine. Even the movement of her wrist was slightly stiff as she drew once more in her sketch pad.
She looked over in the general direction of the tables she was drawing, there was there or just using it to hold their stuff, she would have to try to draw around it without showing too much interest in that general area, she really detested the storm and as a roll of thunder came by she jumped and scratched her page. She sighed and put her head down, a quarter eaten bagel above it. That was about the fiftieth time she did that, a little bit of an exaggeration, but she was annoyed. It was allowed, she blinked and sighed.
She sat back up and finally took another tiny bite of her bagel, she didn't eat when she wanted to draw, it was a distraction, as strange as that may have sounded, she looked back at the sketch pad and began chewing on her lip, lightly erasing the line, thanking herself for choosing the HB pencil instead of the 2-B like she wanted. The drawing would've looked better in a darker led, but she'd have to settle for how it was now. Than maybe she could redraw her drawing, with the darker pencil and be happy.
It was a few minutes after she had started drawing again that the next really loud noise scared her, she jumped, squeaked, and paled a little bit, "Dang it, I hate this storm." She tried speaking to herself, but she had spoken louder than she meant to, probably the anger that she never released forcing it's way out of her. She blinked and put her head back down, quite content on going to sleep there, she was tired, and annoyed, and she needed to get over that damned storm. Or else she would die from lack of sleep.
She was such a whimp, and she knew it, she just didn't want to admit it, and her roommate was no help. Mollie, the most horrific creature in the world. She wore simple blue jeans and a rather large black hoodie, definately not her usual style, but she was cold, so she had shrugged off the idea of wearing the wretched night sure while she pulled on a pair of tennis shoes, finding it rather good her parents made her bring them.

------------------------------------------------LEOLYN’LEO’STARR------------------------ So Leolyn stood there for a long minute, looking around the cafeteria. Being new he hardly knew anyone, but maybe he could flirt up some cute girl, make friends? So far the only people he knew were Tony and Penny....yeah that was about it. He was still looking around when another strike of thunder hit and he tensed, ready to duck. It wasn't loud enough for him to actually jump, but he didn't miss a squeak from the dark haired girl sitting at a table near by. Damsel in distress! This was something he could handle, food could wait. More so since the adrenalin had totally killed his appetite, and it would be impossible for him to be scared and eat at the same time. He took slow, strides over towards the girl, taking in her appearance as he walked over. The dark bags under her eyes would mean that she hadn't slept much, and given that she jumped at every little sound would mean that she was twice as scared of the sound as he was. Maybe he could use his charms to make her not as scared? "Dang it, I hate this storm." Ah. Perfect timing on his part! Judging by the sound of the girl's voice, she was just as annoyed as he was at the storm, and she was younger then he was. If he had to guess, probably fifteen or sixteen? So way too young for him, but still, he was sure that he could help her. It was the right thing to do, plus that was sort of how he met Tony, and friends were good. More so if you were sitting alone in the cafeteria, drawing, and not really eating. "I do too. If it doesn't stop, I'm literally going to go crazy." He said coolly as he sat down, across the table from her, smiling cheerfully. "I'm Leolyn, Leolyn Starr, but you can call me Leo. " He introduced to the back of the girl's head. "What're you drawing?" He questioned tipping his head to the side lightly. "Isn't it hard to draw with all that jumping?" He teased lightly. "In all honesty, there is no way I could draw in a storm like this. I'm way too terrified of thunder, and closed spaces." He said watching the girl for any kind of reaction. "I'm just a fraidy cat." He mused lightly at his own pun, hoping that the girl would pick up on it. He glanced at the partly eaten bagel and frowned, taking it into account with the situation. Either she was too scared to eat, or had been too preoccupied with her drawing to eat, or she simply wasn't hungry, which didn't quite make sense. Well he’d find out momentarily. “Do they sell meat type things here?” He questioned tipping his head to the side in question at the girl. “I could totally go for a rare steak and some eggs. Though that bagel is looking quite appetizing.”------------------------------------------------ Leo is a scaredy-cat. ^^♦♦NOTES♦♦Kitty.▼▲TAGS▼▲clicky♥♥OUTFIT♥♥514¶WORD COUNT¶Nodda♪♫MUSE MUSIC♪♫√√COPYRIGHTS√√Thread template created by Dymetri

Amarantha had not been expecting anyone to come talk to her, no one ever talked to her, that's how she preferred it, so she was definitely not expecting to hear someone start talking, she shot up instantly, a slightly bewildered look in her eyes, it was mainly the surprise that bothered her. If he had touched her she would've screamed at him in french and she still had the mind to. "Que font, se faufiler sur moi! Si vous êtes stupide! J'aurais pu avoir une crise cardiaque, le dernier que j'ai vérifié qu'il était impoli de se faufiler sur les gens!!" She took a quick breath to steady herself, she didn't like surprised, she hated them, they scared her because she didn't know what was going on. It was taking extremely large measures of patience to keep her from shifting which was why she was drawing. Drawing kept her calm, and calm was good, calm was always good, it would keep her from shifting, she loved not shifting, that was how she was. She sighed, she supposed she should respond but she didn't like people, she honestly wanted to throw up her hood and hide in her sweater, considering that her sweater was an xl in mens, she figured it was possible, she never tried, she blinked stupidly to herself, she need to speak, she needed to speak, she did not like the idea of speak, she was scared enough without having to worry about speaking. She swallowed, fears always got in her way, she looked down at her drawing so she wouldn't have look at him when she was speaking, talking to herself, that was okay. "Sorry, my name is Amarantha Hectate, I go by Ama, Cate, or Butterfly, whichever is easier. My jumping, is normal, fear rules my life. As for the food, I know not, I only eat what I need and don't pay attention to things that could make me regret it."She spoke simply, than she remembered that he asked her what she was drawing, and she blinked, it would seem she was frustrated with being herself, she hated being so scared of everything, it was reality, "I'm sketching tables to keep in practice until I get the mood to do something complex, that is something simple. Though she couldn't help but admit to herself that he was somewhat cute, though he was way too old for her, she gave up on crushing, she wouldn't let it.

i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff305/Rika_Rose_Soul/duo.jpg[/img] Amarantha yawned into the back of her hand and looked at her bagel, she didn't even know why she had came into the cafeteria, it was probably because there was no point in trying to sleep so she'd keep her mind preoccupied. Her bagel had probably only been a side thought, she wasn't going to try to remember why she got it, probably because she needed to eat, she wanted something sweet though. She blinked at the sudden craving and tried to shake it out of her head lightly. "I'm fairly certain I only got the bagel to try to keep something in my stomach, not because I'm hungry. And there is plenty of reason to be sorry, I have insulted you." She was a stubborn child, even if she didn't want to admit it, her voice remained soft and she continued to stare at her drawing, she detested talking to people, it was so pointless, though she did need friends, she didn't like being alone, "A green-veined white butterfly to be exact. But yes, that is my shift." Yes, she was listening to him, how could she not, he was sitting right there in front of her, even if the idea of socializing with someone her parents didn't know made her want to cry. She could live, she had no plan on dieing anytime soon, and she was pleased with living, even if, she was scared of almost everything, she laughed lightly, "Though one instinct I could live without, the fear that everything is going to eat me. Even in human form, I have that taunting fear." She finally looked up with a light grin, laughing at herself had calmed her down, and she decided, as a human, that she wasn't going to be eaten, not by another, human, maybe a bear, if she really pissed it off. She once more listened to him, he was questioning her choice of drawing, that was insulting, she wast an artist, specializing in artistic display, paintings, drawings, sculptures, if she couldn't get past a few people in the way of the table than she would not have been likely to take up art like she did, she loved art, because no matter what, everything had a beauty to it, and it was always able to be captured. "I've chosen tables because it's simple to draw, and if I cannot draw around a few people, than there is something wrong with me. That and I need something simple to calm me down. Besides.."She flipped through her sketch pad she had random drawings all over it, butterflies, flowers, and many other things, but she never drew in order, she just flipped open to a blank page and drew, she looked at the front cover of the sketch pad seeing it nowhere in the paper section, she blinked, she swore she had drawn it else where. But sure enough on the inside cover of the sketch pad showed a ripple effect of a before and after of the school. On the left side of the cover was the entrance to the school on a sunny day, or so it would appear, it was hard to tell since a lot of her drawings were in black and white, with birds flying, than slowly in a ripple effect it got depressing, and gloomy and the forest in the background was somewhat destroyed. "why draw something that looks like that?"

------------------------------------------------LEOLYN’LEO’STARR------------------------ Leo watched as the girl glanced at her bagel, completely unsure on why the heck she got it. Maybe he ought to get her some like fruit juice or something. Butterflies drank nectar right? He had no idea what the human part of the butterfly girl drank, or how she even coped with being scared all the time. "I'm fairly certain I only got the bagel to try to keep something in my stomach, not because I'm hungry. And there is plenty of reason to be sorry, I have insulted you." The male shrugged off the apology. "I scared you, I deserve to be called stupid, I should have announced my presence better, mostly because I forget that not everyone on campus has super sensitive hearing like I do." He said with a cheerful grin. "A green-veined white butterfly to be exact. But yes, that is my shift." "Let me guess, the butterfly is white and has green veins?" He questioned jokingly. "That's cool." He added after a moment. He smiled brightly when she let out her little laugh. Laughter meant that he was actually brightening the mood and making the other girl not so scared. "Though one instinct I could live without, the fear that everything is going to eat me. Even in human form, I have that taunting fear."”Well, yeah, that is a bit silly, but considering that that fear has kept you alive for many years, it's been ingrained into your psyche. It's a hard thing to give up. But it is do able. You just need someone to be not afraid around.” He explained casually. "And even now, you're doing well because you haven't turned tail and run from me." he pointed out. "I've chosen tables because it's simple to draw, and if I cannot draw around a few people, than there is something wrong with me. That and I need something simple to calm me down. Besides.."He listened quietly, watching for any sign of something he could use, but judging by her tone, he had offended her. He was about to apologize when she started flipping through her sketch pad. He was taken slightly aback at how many drawings there were, and how good they were. He blinked a few times in shock before he realized she had started talking again. "why draw something that looks like that?"The male paused glancing at the picture. It was amazing, to say the least. He chewed on his lip, thinking of a proper response. "Because stuff like that shows, that you can see that even something beautiful can be destroyed, but even destroyed it can still be beautiful." He said with a firm nod. "Have you ever drawn with you eyes closed?" ------------------------------------------------ Leo needs to stfu.♦♦NOTES♦♦Kitty kitty.▼▲TAGS▼▲clicky♥♥OUTFIT♥♥467¶WORD COUNT¶Oomph songs♪♫MUSE MUSIC♪♫√√COPYRIGHTS√√Thread template created by Dymetri

Amarantha looked at him slightly confused, than down at her bagel, first he seemed insulted, than she apologized and he said he deserved it, he was a confusing man, cute, but confusing. She picked up on her bagel and nibbled on it quietly, her poor bagel, not being eaten and just sitting there, she was a very slow eater when it came to solids, she always had been, she was just too paranoid. She nibbled on it a little more, simple as that, she kind of felt guilty for not telling him to go get something to eat, it was rude, and she was being really rude that day. She looked back down at her sketch pad, and closed her eyes for a moment, still nibbling on her poor bagel. She shook her head as he spoke, he was thick, he truly was, she wanted to apologize, but she wouldn't press it, she didn't have the heart to press something that was going to be denied, it was sad. She felt sad every time someone would deny her, her apology's or questions, it always made her sad, how could someone, being so nice, make her cry? She continued listening to him, than looked up and smiled a really small smile as he made a joke about her name, "Yes, I suppose that, that was a very strange name." Her voice had gotten back to normal, the small and uncertain tone in her voice. As he spoke more she inwardly sighed, she wasn't much of a talker, and he wasn't helping too much, so many questions, it was above her, her mind didn't like it either, she was getting a headache from having to think of so many words at once. She wasn't used to it, she was an artist, not a writer, or a politician, she was not good with words, she couldn't do word searches or crosswords, she failed at words, "I try to face my fears, especially when it would be rude to walk away, I don't like hurting people or insulting them, but I've insulted you already." Her voice refused to change tone, she was sad, of course it wouldn't change tone. She sat in silence her mind wandering, she wanted to draw, but she kept guiltily nibbling on the bagel in between talking so she wouldn't insult the bagel, which she felt she already had for not eating it right away and eating it so slowly. She twitched because of it feeling guilty, she couldn't help but feel guilty, even if it was a bagel, she set it back down, her body twitching again, she hated guilt, and she was twitching because of guilt, it made her want to cry, but a bagel? When he mentioned beauty in everything she couldn't help but give him a strange look, "People have always called me crazy for saying that, 'bout time someone agrees with me." She gave a small laugh but she was still behind that barrier she had, as for his next question, "Only small things, it helps me visualize, the bigger drawings, I'm too scared of messing up..." There was that fear again. She closed her eyes again and slowly counted backwards from ten, what else could she possibly do, she had to sociolize, even if it meant pulling her personality inside out to do it, she released a sigh and looked at him, "Sorry, I'm not in the habit of...talking, I'm trying to get over that. As far as that goes, I really, am unsure what to say..." She looked down with a quiet laugh, obviously, still shy and embaressed, about what she had no clue.
