Overall:
Energy, energy, energy! Gabrielle is full of the stuff and has lots to share. A lot of people find that annoying about her, but she doesn't mind, because that means people are noticing her, and Gabrielle loves being in the spotlight.
As well as loving the spotlight, Gabrielle loves to sing and dance (which to her, is just flying on her feet). She's very good, and was a child Broadway star. She doesn't shy away from attention, and gets even more attention when she tells people that she hardly ever eats meat.
Gabrielle is not a vegetarian, though. She does like meat sometimes, usually on a special occasion, but she just likes fruit and veggies more. Fruit especially. Gabrielle loves fruit and couldn't imagine life without it.
As well as fruit, Gabrielle loves Fruit Loops, especially the mascot (Toucan Sam) and being right. Because she loves being right, she has a hard time accepting when she's wrong, another thing that gets on people's nerves.
Speaking of nerves, things that get on Gabrielle's nerves are computers. She can't make heads or tails of them, and she hates being wrong like that. She hates stinky smells, which is probably the reason she likes air fresheners, scented markers and things like that.
Most of Gabrielle's exercise comes from dance, and flying, but she loves to bicycle if she's not doing that. Not hard-core bicycling, though, but more like for pleasure and transportation.
Because Gabrielle's shift is a toucan, she loves save the rain forest campaigns and donates to them whenever she can. She recycles all the time, and hates it when people don't do the same. She thinks that if you live on Earth, you need to do work to take care of it.
As a bird, Gabrielle hates cats and always has. She also hates the cold and birds that have their wings clipped.
Gabrielle can always find the bright side of a situation, unless of course it comes to watching a horror movie. They scare her to wits end and she always screams if she has to watch them.
You will probably never see Gabrielle trip. She has very good balance that she prides herself on, and is the opposite of a klutz, even in high heels.
Because she's such a cheerful person, Gabrielle hates feeling sad, depressed, or somber. Things that make her feel like that are banjos, storms, and power outages.

Celebrity Play By: Lea Michele
Appearance:
The first thing people notice about Gabrielle is her nose. It's pretty big, even for her face. It doesn't take up her entire face though, and Gabrielle's happy about that. What makes it so noticeable is that it sticks out more than the average person's nose, though it can work well with her face.
The easiest way to describe Gabrielle's face shape is to say that it's oval shaped. She has high cheek bones, and her features are more chiseled than an average teenage girl's. Her lips are full and fit well on her face; under those lips are straight and white teeth.
Most of Gabrielle's time is spent under stage lights, but her skin is tan. It's not a dark sun tan, but it's more of a light natural tan, though she can look pale depending on where she is.
Gabrielle is below average height for her age, topping at five foot five and three fourths of an inch. Her height fits her well, because she would hate to be extremely tall. Her feet are size eight, and look slightly big depending on what shoes she's wearing. Gabrielle weighs about one hundred and thirty pounds.
Her eyes are a deep brown under dark brown, almost black, eyebrows with a subtle arch. Her eyebrows are almost the exact same color as her hair, just a little lighter. Her hair is black, though depending on the lighting, it can look like a dark brown. It curls naturally, and comes down to the top of her chest. When it's straight, which is rare, it almost reaches to the middle of her back.
As a toucan, her black hair turns into black feathers that cover most of her body. The rest of her body, from the front of her chest to her eyes, is a bright yellow. By her eyes, the yellow turns into bright green and bright blue. Her tail feathers have a little bit of red in them.
When Gabrielle is a bird, she is about one foot and three inches long, which is about two inches smaller than the lowest number in the size range.
Gabrielle's bird legs are rather short, but they're very strong, like all toucan legs, and her feet are blue.
Her beak is about one third of her length, five inches, but is very light. It's mainly green, but has orange, red, blue, and yellow on it as well, and is the trademark of toucans.
...history
Parents: Celeste Lowell* (currrently age 40) and André Lowell* (currently age 41)
Siblings: --Gabrielle*--
Oliver* (currently age 16)
*Shifting gene
Place of birth: New York, New York
Celeste and André met through the theatre. He was the best director of the decade, in charge of a Broadway musical, and she was a minior lead and a dancer in the chorus. When they first laid eyes on each other, it was love. They didn't date long before they were married, and their dates always consisted of going to musicals and plays. They were the cutest Broadway couple, and they were soon the proud parents of Gabrielle.
Gabrielle was a Broadway baby, that was for sure. Her birth was strategically planned for the musical Wicked that her parents were involved in. The birth of the main character was her birth, and her mother was that character's mother, no longer a dancer thanks to her big belly.
Her childhood consisted of theatre, theatre, theatre. She was always behind stage, helping with just about everything. If there was ever a roll that called for a toddler, she got it. Her brother was the same way, born two years after her. Oliver and Gabrielle were inseparable, they took dance together, vocal lessons, anything and everything together.
Their mom retired from the theatre after her children were born, to the dismay of many, for she had a bright future. But Celeste didn't mind, she loved taking care of her kids. André continued his career though, and became the most desired director for every musical in New York, on and off Broadway. Celeste was the only one of the family who wasn't actively involved in it, for Gabrielle soon got bigger role after bigger role, based on her age though. Many directors said though that if she were older, she would definitely get the major leads based on her voice and acting talent. Oliver was a little different though, and was always a chorus dancer, something he enjoyed. Where Gabrielle was an amazing singer and actress, he was a fantastic dancer.
When Gabrielle was fourteen, she shifted for the first time, on the same day as her brother who was twelve. The pain was excruciating as their mother was teaching them more about ballet, for she had been in Swan Lake when she was younger, a swan shift, ironically. Gabrielle thought the pain was just because she wasn't used to ballet, but it grew worse and worse. Her head was pounding, and she felt like her nose was about to fall off of her face. Her arms felt like they were on fire as they turned into wings, and before she knew it, she was flying away from her brother, now a panther.
Their parents were forced to separate the two until they were able to shift back. Oliver thought it was the worst feeling of his life, but Gabrielle found it exhilarating, the feeling of flying. And so the Lowells sent their children off to Shifter Academy, hoping that they would learn to control the abilities they had inherited, and that they would choose majors close to the theatre.

Gabrielle rolled out of bed, finding herself on the floor. Her shoulder was aching as she stood up, yawning.
She walked over to her window and opened the curtains. As she took in the morning sun, she smiled, taking in the rays as she grabbed her kimono robe.
It was pink silk, with patterns of koi swimming in circles on it. The fish were assorted shades of blue: royal, sky, aqua, the list went on and on. She fingered the light pink stitching as she wrapped it around herself. She sighed in happiness, and she walked out of her room to go get breakfast.
She wasn't necessarily going to make her breakfast, she was just going to take the fruit salad out of the fridge that she had made yesterday. The lime green bowl perked her up, as well as the reds of the strawberries, the pinks of the watermelon, the yellow of the banana, the orange of the cantaloupe, the gold of the pineapple, and the green of kiwis.
Oh, how Gabrielle loved fruit! She had always loved fruit, that she was absolutely certain of. The natural sugars pepped her up more than candy ever could, it tasted better, and was healthier, too.
♫“I used to think maybe you loved me, now, baby, I'm sure,”♫ she sang, grabbing a fork as she danced over to the table with her fruit salad.
♫“Now I just can't wait 'till the day when you knock on my door,”♫ Gabrielle continued, then took a bite of a strawberry.
She stabbed another piece of fruit, put it into her mouth, and continued the process until the bowl was empty. Her smile fell a little when she saw that the bowl was empty, but checked the dishwasher to make sure there weren't clean dishes in it, and added her bowl and fork into it.
Her stomach growled at her, and she realized she was still hungry. Gabrielle looked around, positive she was the only one up, and sneaked over to the pantry to grab the box of Fruit Loops.
Toucan Sam looked up at her from the front and she smiled at him, opening it, and popping a few of the fruity cereal pieces into her mouth, one at a time, green, yellow, orange, then red.
♫“Now every time I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down. 'Cause I just can't wait 'till you write me you're coming around!”♫
