Overall: Braxton is a spirited kid. He'll try anything once and he'll do it again if he likes it. He puts a lot of enthusiasm into what he does, although he tends to get bored easily with the same old thing every day. He has a lot of things going on inside of his head at once, but he is never truly sure which one he wants to follow.
He is a bold and daring character and this tends to get him into trouble since he won't back down from a challenge. Braxton doesn't think of himself as a rebel, though if one were to place a label on it, then that's what he would be.
His longing to be in design comes from the many jumbled thoughts that go through his head on a daily basis. Deisgn never has an actual pattern. Or so the area that he wishes to go into. Designing is his way of getting all of the mixed up pictures down so he could hopefully sort them out some day. His passion is graffiti and leaving it behind on a city wall in order for others to see it. Although graffiti is far from it, he strives for perfection in everything he does and wants to be the best at everything. If he isn't, he tends to become angry with himself and will push harder to become better.
Braxton can have a rough temper that can easily get out of hand. This ties dramatically into his animal; the cane corso. They are aggressive dogs and don't like to be told no. He is much the same way. His temper, at times, can also be dangerous, though he doesn't like to believe this to be true. If the chance arises, he will choose to fight and then talk things out later. He's protective of those he loves and will always remain loyal. Not once has he broken a promise and he plans to keep it that way. There's no doubt in his mind that one day he will break a promise, but until then, he'll continue with his reputation. This is an odd trait for him considering he can be unfaithful when it comes to many different things, such as dating.
Braxton is flaky in the department and tends to run whenever someone gets too close. He doesn't enjoy getting close to anyone and will turn hostile to the mention of "love". Contrary to what some may believe, he doesn't stay away from girls. In fact, he likes them to be around. While many of them are flings for a short period of time, he enjoys the company and the attention. He believes that he has a hold over most of the girls that come his way, though the time will come that he is shut down and left behind.
...appearance

Celebrity Play By: Channing Tatum.
Appearance: clothes. Braxton's style is anything but complicated. It heavily contradicts his complicated personality. While he can dress up and look fine, he chooses to live life without the hassel of picking out the name brands of clothes. Simple jeans cover his legs each day during the cold months and he doesn't mind them. If there are ever holes in his pants it's because he worked hard enough for them to be there. He won't buy anything with a hole already in it. He finds it to be pointless and a large waste of money. During the hotter months, he's comfortable in cargo shorts or basketball shorts. Anything to allow him to move freely and be comfortable. He very rarely wears a shirt that has a lot of designs in it. He prefers something that will match anything that he is wearing. A white tee shirt is usually the only thing that covers his upper body, even in the cooler weather. It takes a lot to make Braxton feel a chill. But whenever he does, he will go to his faithful grey zip up hoodie. It is his go-to sweatshirt and he wears it often. One thing he will never leave the house without is his black Fox hat.
body. Standing at six foot and one inch, he is your average sized male. He holds himself straight as he walks and prides himself in good posture. He also prides himself in his body that he works to keep in top shape. He focuses heavily on all of the muscles in his body in order to prevent injury while racing as well as during soccer season. His shoulders are broad and well shaped. He has a proportional body, though his hips are slightly more narrow than usual.
scars/tattoos. There are many different markings on Braxton's body that identify him as himself. Along the length of his back is a gashing scar going from his left shoulder, down the left side of his body and ending at his waist. The pink flesh shows it to be relativly new. He also has a scar on his right eyebrow, though that is hardly noticable unless one really notices the blonde hair around the mark. If one were to look at the under part of his right arm, up near the bend, they would notice a black star with the name "Alana" in it in cursive writing. He keeps this there as a reminder of who is truly important in his life. Going down the left side of his body is a rose that had been cut in half due to the scar. The rose's stem reaches down to his waist and stops and has dark thorns on it.
hair/eyes. Going along with wanting to be the ever simple person, Braxton enjoys a short hair cut. His hair is dark and he will usually keep it either buzzed or very short. It's easy for him to take care of it and likes it that way and also it's a lot cooler. The dark color matches the cane corso that he will turn into. His eyes are something of mystery. They are a hazel, almost green. And even though they are bright eyes, they are closed off and cold. His hostile eyes scream "back off" and that he wants nothing to do with anyone that may come around. They say you can find someone in their eyes, but he has nothing to show and will keep things that way.
...history
Parents: Chris and Jennifer Pearce.
Siblings: Alana.
It all started back when..
From the very beginning, it was obvious that Braxton had some issues. But what he didn't know was that it would turn into something very very new. He had lived three years on his own. Obviously he remembered nothing from before them. However, it was evident that he had a temper that would soon get him into troubles that he wouldn't be able to get out of very easily. At the age of three, his parents had had another child. Alana. Braxton's baby sister. Together the two grew and he was forever around her. She never left his side and as soon as she was able to walk, she was following him everywhere. They had a wonderful childhood together and grew close and bonded. She was his best friend and he was her's. They were inseperable. Years continued on and they had a life that wasn't too out of the ordinary. Chris and Jennifer were young parents but they were wonderful and they loved their children with all of their hearts. Money was a bit of an issue and this was a reason as to why Braxton learned to live simple and didn't want anything out of life other than to be happy forever with his family. But, as always, life takes a turn. Life was never easy and that became aparent whenever Braxton entered his teenage years.
It was on his 13th birthday that he began to drift away from the family life. At first, it was innocent wanting to get away from everything that was family connected. He was growing up and that much was obvious. As the year continued, he found himself at home less and less. It was while he was sitting on a brick wall that he tried his first cigarette. At a party, he kissed his first girl and had his first taste of alcohol. These things sent him for a spin in just one night and soon he wanted more and more of it. Entering into the 14th year of his life, he was barely home at all. His parents noticed and asked him where he was at every night. He shrugged every time and answered that he was always at his pal's house. This much was true, though they didn't stay there very long. It would only be a few minutes before Braxton would sneak off to another party or another cigarette. Things got out of hand and he was caught by his parents as he stumbled home one night, smelling of smoke. They intervened and he was cared for and watched closer. For awhile, things went back to normal. He told Alana everything, though kept out many of the gory details. He didn't want her to hear everything from him.
Then his father died. There had been a car accident that ended his life. Braxton blamed himself for being in the car and not dying instead of his dad. He became the man of the house at this point, but he was still under lock down for his previous offenses. Braxton had nothing left except for his mother and Alana. The two were the only people that he trusted. He spent his depression still drawing and hanging out with Alana. It continues on today that Braxton has nightmares about the car accident.
He grew frustrated that his mom was keeping him locked up in the house at night and wouldn't let him venture out anymore unless it was to soccer practice or motocross practice. He threw his frustration into art. Braxton would spend hours drawing and doodling on anything. Soon, he began to paint his walls and he came up with designs that reflected his moods. When he turned 15, he was granted his freedom again. His mother believed that he was able to care for himself. She was wrong. At the age of 15, he had sex for the first time, tried marijuana, and was arrested. The entire town was littered with his art from his frustration for everything that was going on. But one thing never failed. He would always return home for Alana and walk her to school and home at the end of the day, no matter if he had skipped school or not. And he would always kiss his mom at the end of every day before he went to bed.
Braxton felt his temper getting out of control when he turned 14, though things got more and more worse. He found himself becoming more angry at things that he couldn't control. He continued to graffiti the town and run with the wrong group of people. But one thing chased Braxton from the house more. His mother remarried a few months before his 16th birthday. It was then that his entire world fell apart.
Paul was someone that Braxton didn't like from the very beginning. The two didn't get along and Braxton knew that there was something wrong with a guy who wouldn't go out and play catch. Braxton watched everything that Paul did and never learned to trust the man. It was a good thing that he didn't, because he had been right. When Braxton came home one night from motocross practice, he found things thrown all around the house. A few nights ago, Alana had complained of pains in her sides. She was 13 at the time. He was 16. He had walked through the house, wondering why it had been so silent. What he found scarred him for the rest of his life and caused him to change and he was never the same after that.
Little Alana was spread out across her bed, unmoving. Braxton's first reaction was that she was asleep. But it was strange. She never slept this early. He approched and her eyes were open and her body was shaking. In a blur of tears and screaming whispers, she told her older brother everything that had happened. What Paul had done to her. Braxton didn't move from the place on her bed for hours. He held her and held her. She finally rose and told him that she was going to shower in attempt of rinsing off everything that the man had done to her. Braxton nodded and as the bathroom door closed, the front door opened. He gritted his teeth and rose from where he sat.
There was the first moment that the shiver ran down his spine. He didn't feel it. He felt nothing. All he saw was the red curtain that flowed over his vision and the driving force behind his fist as he rammed it into Paul's jaw. The sound of the crack alerted Braxton more. The two went at fighting for a long while. The entire time, Braxton screamed at Paul for everything that he had done. The sharp pain across Braxton's side made his world spin. He grunted and felt everything change. His point of view was different and he was soon looking up at Paul, though it wasn't from a weak point. Braxton felt a whole new power flowing through him. Looking down, he saw the paws that held him up. He felt the muscles that rippled and he heard the snarl as it ripped through his throat.
The first time was painful, but he had barly noticed. He lunged at Paul, attacking him with everything that he had. It was only a few minutes before the larger man was on the ground, losing blood quickly. Braxton had retreated and was laying in the living room in his shorts whenever his mother came home. She was shocked at the sight of her husband, though explinations were thrown left and right. Alana shuddered at everything she said and Braxton held her tightly as she cried and the police came. It was simple to blame the attack on a dog and Paul was sentenced to life in jail.
Alana went to bed that night, though it was hard. She asked Braxton to lay with her until she fell asleep. He promised that he would be there when she woke up, too. When she was in a deep sleep, he snuck away to speak to his mother. He questioned what happened and he told her everything that had happened today. He had figured she would find him insane, though she understood completely. She hugged him and said that he would be switching schools. She explained that he was a shifter and that his animal was a dog. His mother had been a bird, though she had been a raven and his father was the cane corso. Braxton spent the night trying to take everything in.
He was given time to say his good byes. His 17th birthday came about and he was transfured to the Shifter Academy. Alana and his mother live nearby, though Alana knows nothing about Braxton's shifting. He nor his mother are sure if Alana will shift as well. Sometimes the genetics skip, his mother had explained. Now he arrives here, new and unsure if any of this is real or not, but he sure as hell hoped so. Braxton continues to race and has hopes of joining the soccer team and he hopes to major in design in order for him to throw his emotions into something else completely.
...connecting human to animal
Braxton goes with a cane corse wonderfully. They are a protective dog and are highly aggressive when angered. They have a temper that can go wrong often and the size to take down many offenders. Cane corsos are family dogs and Braxton is loyal to his family. Both are also loyal to those that deserve it. If these dogs don't get enough exercise, they can get into trouble. Braxton has a bit of a hyper tic in him, that if he doesn't use every ounce of his energy in a day, then he will usually do something that uses his adrenaline and it's usually something counterproductive. There's trouble that connects the two creatures as well as pure strength and personality. They're hostile and closed off mostly and won't let many near them without consent.

It was pure wonder as to why the dark male would find himself in this sort of place now. He had no desire to wander along the shores of this unknown territory, though here he was. Worry began to overwhelm him all at once and he grunted harshly as he looked about once, his golden eyes reflecting the setting sun. Narrowing those very same eyes, he looked away from the west and looked out over the ocean. What was it that drew him to the sounds of gulls laughing over head and the sounds of waves kissing the shore harshly? He snorted, looked away and continued forward without another glance back. His large paws sunk into the sand as he moved, causing difficulty as he climbed the dunes. Sand pushed away from each of his steps, breaking away and he gritted his teeth in frustration of the loose earth.
Cerberus raised his head to the sky again as he paused on the top of the dune and looked out over the sparkling water once. He watched the colors dance through the sky and play a song that was mute just as himself. Without thought, he moved forward again and decended from the dune, sliding to the bottom. His ears went flat against his head and his nose wrinkled in distaste of the soft sand and he made his way towards the water.
Wind rushed across the open sea, slaughtering his side with frost. He winced softly against the cold, but pushed on ever more. Raising an eyebrow, he looked about quickly before stopping and allowing the water to wash over his black paws. Clearing his throat, he attempted to toughen himself against the freezing water, but there was no hope for that. He backed away quickly, shaking his body in hopes of regaining warmth he had lost. Lowering his head in a stalking manner, he pushed forth against the unforgiving wind.
Muscles tensed under his coat and rippled as he walked. Strength shown through with each step and desperation for a place to stay for the night began to become apparent in his golden eyes. His hackles bristled as the wind switched directions and blew another scent towards him. He turned quickly, his glowing eyes sparkling again in the fading sun. Colors were becoming more and more apparent as the night began to allow it's curtain to fall. He turned his head to the side, staring at the hole in the dune. Someone was either there or had just recently been there. His tail flicked behind him, though he thought better than to take up a defense. Though this land was free to roam, he was still walking on boarders of pack lands. It would be unwise to meddle about.
Turning away from the dune quickly, he stepped to the side and looked to the sky, hoping for the sun to fade completely. He looked to his paws which had icicles clinging to them due to the wind and he shivered once before searching the beach again for shelter.
