Blossom nodded along to her music, tapping her ipod with her fingers. Her bright eyes glazed over slightly and strands of her blonde hair shrouded her face. Her day had been a little dull, and now she was just sitting in the lounge, bored out of her mind. Blossom hadn't been at the school very long, and so far she hadn't really met anyone, which meant she didn't really have friends. Which was a direct reason for her insufferable boredom. To be honest, she was starting to feel very alone at this school. Sure she had some teammates now that Summer Madness had kicked off. As of yet though, she hadn't met or really talked to any of them.
Every time someone walked by, the twelve year old girl would glance up, eyes following them as if tracking their movements for a brief second. Always though, she would quickly redirect her gaze down to her lap, where her hands encircled the thin white iPod. She leaned back in her chair, head resting against the plush top. An innocent smile curled the edges of her lips upward, and her big blue eyes fluttered closed ever so slowly.
Being alone all day was stressful for a preteen girl who lived for company. Sure she was less of a talker than some people, but that didn't mean she always enjoyed solitude. In fact, it was quite the opposite for her, she wanted to be around people, almost desperately needed to be. Her grip loosened as she drifted into a very light sleep, and her grip on the music playing device loosened, until the sound of it clattering to the floor could be hear easily. The sound echoed around the rule and Blossom jumped to attention, eyes wide.
"Dang it!" She muttered under her breath. Stooping down, she picked up the fallen object and glared at it. Bringing it closer to her eyes, she examined it, picking out some small scrapes on the screen area. A scowl marred her clean features, and she leaned back again with a sigh. Just her luck, bored, and now, she'd banged up her iPod. Turning to look at the back, she fingered the engravings that could be found there. It read, "Just wait till life blooms" Her expression softened and she rubbed her thumb pad over the letters lovingly. She didn't have a lot of possessions that she prized, but her iPod was one of those things she usually carried with her. Quickly, she looked up, hearing a sound.

Jayden had wanted to see his delightful younger sister, Blossom. He had been meaning to see her for a while now but work, friends and...of course Fidel had got in the way. After he had finished his homework and spent time with Fidel, Jay decided to go Blossom hunting. How hard could one girl be to find? She was blonde and most of the students seemed dark-haired. So, that shouldn’t be a problem, right? Also, she had specific places that she liked to go so that would help a lot, or so Jay thought.
After trying to find his beloved sister, the mute boy, after practically sprinting all around campus, even going to the beach and the outside campus places to look for her. Where could she be? He rested his hands on his knees and silently panted for five minutes before thinking about his first shift. He became sad and leaned against the wall for support. He slid down and put his hands on his face, covering his eyes. He had almost reached Blossom if it hadn’t been for the timely intervention of Annabelle and Naomi. Jayden didn’t know what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been there. The worse part of it was that Blossom had acted so calm and accepted his apology. Jayden had felt so guilty afterwards. He stayed there for a few minutes, depressed. Words couldn’t describe how sorry he was for trying to hurt her. However, when he tried to apologise, Blossom would always give him a smile and say that it wasn’t his fault, which made it somehow worse. Slowly tears appeared on his cheek and he began to silently sob. Why did shifting have to be so painful? Was it painful for Jacob Black when he first shifted? Yes, Jayden had just mentally asked if a fictional character had gone through the same thing as him. What, Jacob Black was hot, ok?! Oh, and so was Alice. The Otter found that funny and began to laugh but Jay glared at him, quelling him to silence. The Otter knew when to shut up.
When Jayden had done sobbing, he wiped the tears away and tried to hide the evidence. He stood up and controlled his balance. He then heard something clattering to the floor and then went to investigate it. It had come from the lounge. The mute boy poked his head through the entrance and saw a familiar blonde-haired girl sitting there. The lounge, of course! Jayden went up to his sister and smiled at her as he sat opposite her.
