Friends come easy for Matt, though it probably has less to do with charm and more to do with the fact that he's an unrelenting cheeseball who's unwilling to hurt anybody.Matt is outgoing with a love for people in general, even if he can come across as a bit overbearing at times. Seriously though, Matt is as kind and harmless as a stuffed animal. His personality makes him able to put up with any and everything, so it's rare to find someone who is absolutely impossible for him to have friends with. He approaches his friendship with vigor, putting in as much effort into it as possible even when the other person as long stopped trying to keep it alive. Mathieu is the type who'd walk old grannies across the street, and as much as his friends want to tease him about this, something about his nature just makes them feel bad about doing it.

Matt's had a few lovers in the past, but never anything beyond a middle school romance. A love life is on the list of thing Matt plans on getting at some point, it's just school and hobbies have a bad habit of getting in the way. Matt is quite awkward moving around this kind of relationship, and is always surprised if anyone has a crush on him. Matt's the kind of person who someone comes running to for relationship advice, but is too nervous that actually admit that he'd like a relationship himself.

This spot may be a bit barren, as Matt as trouble making enemies - the closest he can consider having is a friendly rivalry. However, it's unheard of for his constant desire to help people who may not need it and his goody tooshoos nature to get on other people's nerves. Matt avoids people that make him nervous, and has trouble making it unobvious. If someone rattled on Matt's nerves long enough, he would be able to actively dislike and even hate someone. Along the same track, if someone forced Matt into a situation that made him stretch his moral boundaries, he'd be pretty pissed off. Matt is the friendlier class of enemy, always ready to hang out over some coffee in an attempt to make reconcile bad relationships.
