Likes:(at least 10)
- Having fun. Regan loves to play games he may not be very good at them but he does love them. He's not the best at telling jokes but he loves to hear em, Regan's just a real big fan of having fun almost to the point it's all he wants to do most days.
- Art anyway he can get, any medium, style, venue however it comes just so long as its art. and its not a carbon copy mass produced clone of somebody else's work churned out for the mindless consumers just so The Man can make more money
- Some really good ganga
- constant flow of new ideas
- Hanging out with friends
- philosophy and especially philosophical conversations
- protesting for social and civil rights
- debating Regan loves debating
- tinkering with things so as to take multiple things apart and put them together in what he sees as a more artistically beautiful whole
- Music. Regan has a very eclectic interest in music and loves to find artist that exist far outside the main stream
- Helping people. Regan doesn't feel like he can be alright with him self if he hasn't helped some one
- Individualism. Regan doesn't necessarily need to be alone but he does appreciate doings his own thing and being amongst others who are doing their own things
Dislikes:
- Conformity. Regan is by nature an individual and has trouble grasping the reality that anyone would allow themselves to be anything other than their own person
- Boredom, Regan goes a little bit berserk if he's not allowed to express his creativity or play any games for an extended period of time
- Excessive responsibility. Regan feels the need for freedom and worries about his ability to live up to expectations. so any responsibility beyond basically maintaining his survival and Regan starts getting antsy and looking for a way to rid himself of that burden
- Stupid people especially those he deems stupid who think they are smart, ugh those are the worst
- Overly serious people. Regan loves to hear a good joke, play a fun game, or have fun and laugh for any reason, and those that take life seriously for to long just annoy Regan. Almost as annoying as dumb people who think they're smart
- Seeing other people mistreated, hurt, or in need . Regan needs to help people. he can't explain and doesn't understand it himself. this need is stronger than anything else in his life with the exception of his shifting. If Regan hasn't helped a person he experiences symptoms like excessive sleep deprivation.
- leading
- following
Regan loves those people he has claimed as his own. But he doesn't really know how to fit in 'cause he can't stand the conformity of following and fears the responsibility of leading, so he's kinda stuck on the fringes most of the time - Mass produced art or music or anything really. It's got no originality to it no indiviualism inherent to it's being, no soul really. Mass production serves no greater purpose or higher calling other than to make The Man more money and squash the little guy.
- cops it's a stoner thing he just doesn't like cops
- bunk weed man that sucks your looking to get chronc and you end up with shake, stems and seeds
Fears: (At least 3)
- becoming part of the establishment, having to accept responsibility and conform to the norm of society. that is Regan's biggest fear
- Not being able to help people
- dogs he's kinda terrified and they almost always make him jump
- That the human world will en-cage him. being locked up in a cage would be worse than death for Regan, no creativity, no fun, no helping anyone, no freedoms, all that conformity. being encaged is Morregan Thomas O'conner's worst nightmare
Strengths: (At least 3)
- Artistic perspective. Regan is gifted with a unique way of looking at things and sometimes he might have to ponder the scenario or situation for a while but eventual he does come up with a unique and helpful view on the issue
- Resilient Regan heals from injuries quite expediently and has an amazing immune system which allows him to avoid most illnesses
- Loyalty If Regan has claimed you as his own you can be sure if you ever are truly in need he'll answer your call
- Good with his hands Because Regan has always liked taking things apart and he is an artistic individual he has learned to be very good at fixing and making things.
- Expressive Due to his strong feeling on numerous things and his love for debate as well as his artistic nature Regan is usually quite good at sharing his feelings. And has started to learn how to read the feelings of others.
Weaknesses: (At least 3)
- Compulsions Regan has a few compulsions that make his life rather difficult.
1. He needs to help people, He's not sure why but it is an extreme compulsion and a driving force in his life.
2.Regan needs to feel his creative juices flowing. whether it drawing sculpting or just being around art and artistic people Regan has a strong creative compulsion.
3. Wild child Regan is a free spirit and although he does want to make a difference and belong he's just as likely to consider grabbing his stuff and running away a reasonable and valid option as sticking around doing homework and being responsible. - Loyal Regan can be loath to become involved with others but once he claims someone as his he is loyal to no end. it doesn't matter what they've done or the cost to himself Regan is a friend for life.
- Substance Abuse in Regan's constant search for a good time and escaping responsibility he happened across marijuana. and while he might only partake occasionally it is a weakness that does affect his short term memory on occasion and his ability to complete things in a timely manner. plus his usage of an illicit substance especially since he's a minor can seriously complicate his life if ever the authorities become involved.
- Highly Opinionated There many things that Regan maintains a very strong opinion of and he has no issue offending those who might disagree. from his point of view he is doing a favor to the ignorant and uneducated by exposing the fallacy of the old ways while educating them in the right and truth of his opinions
- Somewhat Hypocritical yeah he can be full of it sometimes. he knows it some of the times, like he needs to help people but he's either to lazy or stoned to do it. he acts like a loner but he wants friends. in many ways Regan is just full of hypocritical nonsense sometimes. but he likes to think that he's complicated
- Social Awkwardness Regan's awkwardness stems from the fact that he does not wish to conform to someone else's leadership, nor does he ever wish to assume the responsibility of leadership so when assimilating into a group of peers he never knows how to fit in.
Overall: [400 words minimum]
Regan is a generally friendly laid back relaxed easy going kinda guy who tries to get along with just about everybody, he does have some issues with others when they either try to control him, are diametrically opposed to his views on things, or he considers them just plain dumb. And although Regan tries to get along with everybody he tends to flock towards people he considers "his kinda people" stoners, artists, those who hang on the fringe elements.
Regan loves to be a part of conversation. to the point that if his friends aren't talking he'll wander over to other people who are just to see if he can get in on what they're saying He doesn't think that all silences are awkward no he just believes that few things are mentally stimulating in the way that a good conversation can be. and even if the conversation isn't that great Regan is usually just happy to be spending time and having fun with others
He can be considered quite lazy. Regan loves to lay about most of the day doing nothing much but napping in the sun, working on his art, playing with his friends and on occasion if he's got it smokin' some green. But he's really not lazy, Regan is easygoing, relaxed, smart, creative, fun, interesting, helpful, and loyal, all the times people think he's being lazy Regan's allowing some part of who he is to shine through
More than how he fits with others or what people think about him Regan struggles with his own internal issues.
Regan wants to make a real difference, but he's terrified of what might be demanded of him if he were to pursue making such a change.
He wants friends in this new environment he's found himself in. but he believes that in relationships there tend to be leaders and followers. well he doesn't want to be a leader 'cause that would mean assuming responsibility for those you are leading and he doesn't want to be a follower 'cause that would mean surrendering some of his individuality. so he's kinda of planning to wander the edges and see how he fits and who'll take him in.
Mostly Regan tries just to be himself and in many ways he's still just figuring out who that is and what his current understanding of himself and the world around him will contribute to his future self and the world of tomorrow

Celebrity Play By: Rory Cochrane circa 1993
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Regan as a Human
Regan is pretty much your average guy physically. He's only slightly taller than average at 6 feet tall. and you wouldn't be likely to notice that do to his poor posture. As well as an unassuming height Regan has a very boring average build, thanks in no part to his snacking habits. Regan loves to munch all the time but his metabolism burns it up then stores all the energy to fuel his shifts.
The one truly impressive physical feature of Regan's is his golden brown eyes.
They really are quite stunning, that is when they're not bloodshot or hiding behind his favorite pair of antique shades of which he owns several. He also is blessed with an olive complexion stemming from his mothers Native American heritage.
As well as having the golden eyes and olive skin Regan has received his ceremonial tattoo. This tattoo indicates that he has undergone his first change and thus can be accepted as a man amongst his mother's people. within the design of each tattoo the shaman combines shapes, patterns and or images that are reminiscent of both the tribe's symbol, that tribe's shifter symbol and something specific to the individual. In this way each tattoo can be read like a mini bio or a long name.
It's not really his natural looks that make Regan stand out so much as his fashion choices. Regan has an eclectic and alternative sense of self expression. He normally only chooses to wear clothing bought from second hand stores or places like hot topic and small hippie shops,
Regan's main outfit his uniform so to speak consists of, from the feet up,
[/li][li] Nine Button Style Leather Pueblo Moccasins which he wears in remembrance of his Navajo Indian ancestors which comes from his grandma's side.
[/li][li] 60s vintage midnight blue button front navy issue bell bottoms. Regan likes these 'cause they remind him if his Grandpa who was in the navy when he was a young man, and 'cause hippies wore em back in the day and how can that not be cool.
[/li][li] Band T-shirts. Regan has always been known for his band T-shirts. If they play and he likes 'em he has to have their t-shirt.
[/li][li] modern black and gray banded pea coat. Regan Loves this jacket. It was a gift from his Grandpa before ... well just before.
[/li][li] favorite ed hardy scarf. Since Regan is from the north west he does tend to dress with colder climes in mind and he has fallen in love with anything ed hardy so thus he has a favorite ed hardy scarf
[/li][li] Antique spectacles 19th century . Regan is constantly wearing some sort of spectacle because his gold eyes are signs of being a shifter amongst his mother's people. and antiques well his grandparents gave him his first pair and he's been striving to collect more ever since.
[/li][li] Regan has also begun to be quite interested in furthering his body art collection and to that end he has had his cartilage pierced in a helix piercing. he'll usually switch out between a stirrup or a balled ring
[/li][li] His trademark gray and black tweed driving cap, Regan's not sure why he loves this cap so much he just always has since he was in middle school this hat has been his thing
Regan as a Maine Coon
Maine Coons are big Big cats, and Regan is no exception. Regan in cat form is 42 inches in length not including his 21 inch long fluffy ringed tail, and 17 1/2 lbs in weight. Regan is a big boy.
Like many typical Maine Coons Regan is a tabby with brown black and gray striped and spiraled markings with the occasional dash of orangey brown thrown in here and there.
He has a long thick mane of black fur with silver tips around his neck, upper back, shoulders and chest.
his ears start off gray fading to brown then black where the end in long black tufts at the tips of each ear.
Being a Maine Coon Regan has exceptionally thick and soft long fur. the kind most people just wanna curl up and cuddle with, he's cool with that, especially if your cute.
On the back half of his legs Regan has longer thicker hair, which is blackish brown in the front legs, and brownish fray in the back legs.
Regan also has like many maine coons in particular and tabbys in general a M shape on his forehead. and although it is common for there to be such a shape on a cat's head each one is distinctive as are all markings on a cat, kinda like a human's fingerprint. Regan's looks kinda like a highly stylized paw print and he's quite proud of it.

Good resources to understand this better are questions 6 and 7 in the FAQ's.

Regan's memory can be fairly sketchy at times (his sister says it's 'cause he smokes to much, eh who knows she might be right, he doesn't care he's gonna keep smoking any way) but he does remember living with his grandparent's when he was small.
There is one day in particular when he was four years old that Regan remembers extremely well. In fact Regan would say that he remembers this one day better than all the rest. He remembers the smell of the Oregon forest was real strong as his grandma ushered him into their station wagon after a nice breakfast blueberry wojapi his and his grandpa's favorite. Regan well remembers the smell of his grandpa when Regan sat nestled between his two elderly grandparents in that beat up faded mustard yellow and tan station wagon, it must have been a relic from the seventies. he remembers the ocean and the sounds of the seagulls cawing as the great pacific crashed against their homes tucked into the nooks and crannies of the cliff face.
Regan remembers being at the pow-wow they were going to that day and talking to the traders there, one food vendor was particularly nice to him and gave him some sweet treats. And he remembers watching the dancers and how the music they danced to made his blood race through his veins like nothing else ever had before. He recalls not knowing till much, much later that this was not a typical pow-wow but one meant especially for shifters. And most importantly on that the first day of great significance in Regan's life he remembers meeting his father.
Regan's parents had met many years ago at a pow-wow just like this one. Regan's father was a very tall man at almost six foot nine inches and beyond that he was a handsome young blond man of mixed Native American and European ancestry. He was legitimately a shifter (His shift form was a Norwegian forest cat) and some even considered him a Native American with his Native blood coming from his mothers side but when Wakanda, Regans mother, laid ayes on this tall broad man with long blond hair big blue eyes and olive skin all she cared about was this going to the love of her life. Her father Canowicakte thought he looked like a mutt and further Hemming should have had the decency to have left long before Canowicakte's daughter had the chance to lay eyes on him.
But this was all unknown to young Regan as his kind and loving grandparents gently urged him along to the father he'd never met before and the mother he'd only seen on a handful of occasions in his short four years of life.
Regan remembers well the extreme mixture of feelings at meeting his father for the first time and seeing his mother again. Could you really call such an emotion excitement when it was tinged with fear was it joy when such nervousness overshadowed it. And there was little doubt that at least some small portion of anger welled up within little Regan, after all these were his parents why wouldn't they be there in his life when apparently they can show up for some pow-wow.
He felt like ducking his head running away and crawling under his grandparents bed.
Regan remembers well the tall strong blond man standing there dressed mostly in denim holding his short petite raven haired mother in her fringed traditional dress. He remembers well walking up past a row of stadium bleachers and how his dad's laughter echoed off the polished floor of the basketball court the pow-wow was being held in. He remembers feeling sad as his mom smiled and leaned in to his dad's big shoulders and he recalls thinking why couldn't I have been a part of that.
Regan knows as they walked up to this seemingly happy young couple he climbed up into his grandpa's arms and buryed his face in his grandpas warm ribbon shirt and fringed leather jacket.
Regan clearly recalls the rich deep voice of his father rolling with a melodious but indistinct accent as Hemming softly called to his son to just look at him and say hello. At first little Regan wouldn't look at the great big man and he couldn't say why, he wasn't normally shy in fact he was a very curious and out going little guy, but this this was his father. And his father had never been there. Why? did this great big man not love him enough to be his daddy?
As all these befuddled thoughts and others like them went whirling through young Regan's little mind he dimly became aware of the fact that now his grandpa was softly encouraging him to let Hemming, Regan's father hold him. As the gentle tones of Canowicakte's soothing voice calmed little Regan's fried nerves Regan took a chance and stole a glance at the tall blond man. He seemed nice, real nice. maybe Regan would let this Hemming hold him, maybe. After a while it became clear to all that little Regan would take his time accepting the new addition to his family unit.
