Kaya was in her own little world while she read and wrote down answers. She had a sort of rhythm to her work now, which she usually did when she got in the zone. Most people would get distracted with music while they studied, but Kaya needed music otherwise things felt way too quiet for her. Especially in a library, where people were, for the majority, silent. Then, whenever Kaya heard a noise, she had to wonder what it was. With music, all she heard was just that.
There was a thump on the table that surprised Kaya, making her jump some and look up at the smallest student she'd seen here. There was no way in hell that Kaya was going to believe that this... child attended this boarding school. Wasn't this a college preparatory school? Why would they allow a child in?
She popped an ear bud out when the girl spoke, only catching something about the seat. Miss Bubblegum Pink had pushed all her belongings together to make room for herself. Wasn't it pretty obvious that she had set her things around for a reason. Then again, the other tables were pretty much occupied.
Kaya heaved a sigh when she saw all the books the girl was carrying before she spoke. "You're f****** kidding me, right? Is this a joke?" Her eyebrows were raised as she looked over the books. The girl sat down and she paused her iPod to see what the girl had to say.[/b][/i][/size]
