[/li][li]Stillness Rel is entranced by the beauty in the stillness of the world, much like the stillness of stalking prey. She uses this towards her photography.
[/li][li]Cold Rel is a true Arctic Wolf in the sense that she adores the cold. Though she does get cold.

[/li][li]Wind Areli loves the feeling of the wind through her hair or her fur, carrying scents and secrets from everywhere.
[/li][li]Night Rel is pretty much nocturnal with all the time she spends up at night. She does her best to sleep, but the world is most beautiful at night to her and why would it be beautiful if it didn't want to be caught in a photo?
[/li][li]Photography A still life is worth a thousand words.
[/li][li]Confidence Reli is very proud to be confident, and it's a very important part of being a wolf.
[/li][li]Meat She loves the taste, vegetables and fruit could never compare.
[/li][li]Sight She treasures her sight above everything else, for without it she could not admire the world.

Overall: [400 words minimum]
Areli, in PB, is a social butterfly. She loves to talk to people and make friends, especially of the male gender. Girls to her are kind of competition (it’s a wolf/mate thing) and therefore she prefers hanging out with guys. Typically she prefers to have a close circle of friends and then a large span of acquaintances beyond that. Like any teenager girl, Rel really likes guys, and when she likes one she does everything in her power to get his attention. She doesn't mean to be a flirt, but typically that's how it ends up. Areli prefers to wear clothes that others wear or that are unique but in a toned down kind of way. She prefers things that are soft or fluffy like sweaters in the winter when her inner Arctic Wolf is raging. Rel has a preference towards cold due to her animal’s homeland. She enjoys conversation and meeting new people, but sometimes she really needs to get away. When that happens she loves to go somewhere quiet and shaded to stalk…er, watch others. She finds other shifters’, and humans’, fascinating, and can almost always be found with her camera snapping shots of everyday or out of the ordinary things. Her photography got her into noticing things, like the feel of grass under your feet or the way a tree arches away from the wind. If she’s not enjoying stillness, then she tends to go for it’s opposite, movement. Areli loves to run, it offers her a freedom that both of her forms enjoy. Rarely does she let the Arctic Wolf lead the runs and tries her best to strictly train or sprint, but when she does it is a feeling like no other. Even in human form, with the wolf dominant, the feeling is amazing. If you couldn’t tell already, Areli is a mass of contradiction (outgoing to alone, stillness to speed). Her two forms tend to fight against each other for what they want. She really was a wolf, fighting for dominance in a teenager’s body. Not just any teenager, a popular teenager, which makes it much more complicated. Areli does her best to try and find common ground, but it is hard to manage a wolf and a teenager inside of one rather small body. To make the best of it, Areli finds things that both parts of her enjoy, such as running and photography. She finds that, though it is weird, both parts of her also enjoy the night and howling. Though she’s never wanted to sing or been very good at it, howling is amazing. Trying to keep from disturbing others, she confines herself to howling in Arctic Wolf form only twice a month, typically when the full moon is up just to play up the stereotype. This leads to another of her equally enjoyed past times, adventure and recklessness. Areli loves to cause mischief and seek out new things, though actually getting in trouble really annoys her. She doesn’t like rules because they feel like a cage to her, and she really hates cages. Areli’s fear of cages, though quite new as far as fears come, is very strong, but she tries her best to fight it. Every now and then though she gets nightmares or the event and will wake up either screaming or with her body demanding a run. Rarely does she ever make it through the night without getting up to howl, have a nightmare, or she just gets restless. Sometimes she can be found asleep in the forest because of her early morning or late night sprints.

Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Areli's PB is a thin blonde model-esque female. Her hair is a natural blonde that is straight, but curls with some effort and a curling iron. Her golden blonde hair is shoulder length when curled, but trails farther down her chest when straightened. She has side bangs that are long enough to be pulled behind her ear. She has high cheekbones and a soft pointed nose covered with pristine, creamy white skin. Rel’s oval blue eyes are usually framed by black eyeliner and black mascara, and she had a phase where she wore it quite dark but she avoids that since she is no longer in eighth grade. Her PB is only five foot six inches tall. She wears clothes that aren’t low cut enough that everything is falling out, but just low enough to show a reasonable amount of skin. She wears skirts, dresses, jeans, and shorts, whatever looks good on her and is found fashionable. Rel doesn't like to focus on the meaning of casual, and will show up to class in a shimmery dress meant for a fancy dinner. She has three ear piercings on her lobe and another piercing on the right cartilage, and a final piercing on her belly button. She tends to wear a small red cherry stomach piercing charm. Like any girl, Areli feels that she is overweight though she is a content 112lbs in her PB. On the back of her left shoulder is a howling wolf. She also got a small Polaroid with nothing in it opixier front right hip. Rel’s PB is a typical teenage girl.
From the pixe-esque PB, Areli transforms into a sleek white Arctic Wolf. Her pointed nose shifts into a long white muzzle, turning her pearly white teeth into long weapons. Her thin limbs become muscled machines, prepared to propel her body through forest, across campus, or through a meter of snow. A bushy white tail sprouts and over her body he blonde hair become the purest of whites, spreading and covering ever inch of her new form. The round ears her PB form has become pointed and alert, prepared to take in any and all sounds. Areli’s soft blue eyes shift, trading the blue for a striking yellow that will freeze you in your tracks with their intensity. In her wolf form, Areli becomes a threat not expected from her PB form. With all sense of a cute form lost, she becomes the animal within that can run fast enough for her to feel the win gliding across her face, and can blend in with the cool snow to have some peace or people watch. It is her perfect form even if it could make you bleed with an accidental stroke of her claws.
...history
Parents: Father:Zev Mother:Jasmine.
Siblings: [In order from oldest to youngest] Tristan(M), Rayla(F), Farrah(F), Aaron(M).
[400 words minimum]
Areli is the second oldest in a family of five. She was born seventeen months after Tristan, her older brother. All of the children were about a year and a half a part, with the exclusion of Aaron who is two and a half years younger than Farrah. Her parents were quite old fashioned and believed in young marriage, abstinence, and a lot of children. Their large family was always happy, and they were quite lucky to have parents that wanted to stay together.
During her childhood, Areli and her family lived on a quaint farm. The house had plenty of room for all of the children, and the barn was filled with animals for the children to socialize with. As old fashioned as their parents were, they believed in homeschooling and spent hours trying to get their children to relate to or understand things about the animals. Areli was the only one to truly fail at this, and on her ninth birthday was, after hours of begging, allowed to go to a normal school. She was tired of being the freak, so she got there, confident and ready to make all the friends she could, and by the end of the day she new everyone in her grade and liked them all too. She went through her phases of goth and in love with pink before settling for typical clothes, with the occasional too fancy dress just for the fun of it. Casual was too boring for Areli. Things were going fine; until her twelfth arrived birthday.
Rel had begged her parents for a small dance in the barn, and they’d seen no harm in it. With all parties, there is a time when things start to get boring and the games come out. Rel left before theses and made her way outside, sitting on the grass ad looking at the stars the way she always loved to. She had only been there for a few minutes before the boy she liked, Jeremy, came out and sat beside her. They talked for a while, and eventually he started to lean towards her, lips puckered. Like any normal girl Rel was hugely excited, she couldn’t wait to kiss him, until the pain started. First it was in her arms, and then it started to move towards her legs. She tried to ignore it, but she had to pull away the moment before their mouths met to try and make it stop. The pain spread to her spine, and then to her tailbone. Arching her back, she let out a cry that was too similar to a howl. Her parents rushed out of the house, but they were too late, her mouth and nose were already extending into that of a canine. It was too traumatic for her to deal with, and when she found herself looking up at her mother who should have been a few inches shorter than her she panicked. The panic only fueled the animal, and suddenly she was growling, at her parents. Forcing herself away from them with what was left of her humanity she found herself facing Jeremy. He was cowering against the barn, crying for help with tears streaming down his face. She launched herself towards him, teeth searching his next for the jugular. Rel was gone. The wolf had taken all of her control. She tried to pull away, but she couldn’t manage to get a hold of herself until her father, in the form of a black wolf dragged her away. She changed back, barely noticing her tears as she cowered, afraid of her own hands and what they had done.
For days afterwards she refused to eat, refused to speak. The only thing she would do was sit in the corner of her room whispering, “I’m sorry” over and over again. Her parents had tried to talk to her, to explain that they hadn’t thought that it would happen to her, that they were sorrow, that she wasn’t a monster.
A week after the event a man barged into their house, demanding that the monster was put down. Apparently people from the party had heard the screaming and someone had seen what had happened through the window of the barn. Now Jeremy’s father wanted revenge against the beast that had killed his son. He knocked aside her parents, knocking her father out with a punch when he tried to stop him. He barged upstairs, grabbed Areli by the hair and practically dragged her from the house. Her father, groggy but awake once he was loading her into his truck, tried to attack, but Jeremy’s father drew a shotgun and hit him in the stomach. The man took Areli, still whimpering apologies, to a cabin in the forest and locked her in a cage. Men in lab coats came and stabbed her with needles, drawing blood, injecting odd colored liquids into her. Some brought on the horrible change, even worse in the limited space of the cage, and some simply made her sick. She didn’t know how long she was there, but it could have been months with the lack of windows and no clocks. Eventually her father found her, still stiff in his movements and snuck her out while the scientists focused on a green liquid. He’d made her run home, told her he loved her, and turned back to the lab at full tilt. She stared after him, tears in her eyes before she ran home. Areli never saw her father again.
The few months after that were spent with preparations. She was to leave her home and go to a school that could help her, but first she had to learn more control over herself. Her mother did her best to help, but being a human she couldn’t do much. She learned the basics, but her control over the Arctic Wolf part of herself is still faulty.

Areli sat on the step of the barn, the cement pressing roughly against the back of her thighs. She hoped her dress wouldn’t rip, laughing at herself a moment later for worrying about her dress. There were worse things in the world than a ripped dress, and Areli Giovic could easily manage a ripped dress. She’d handled worse, like he kid with glasses and a nose whistle that asked her out at the beginning of grade eight.
“What’s funny?”
She turned abruptly, scraping the bottom of her legs, but oh was the pain worth it. Standing in front of her, smiling down, was Jeremy Mirtah. He was so gorgeous, especially in the dark jeans he was wearing that hung low on his slim hips. He was so much better than that nerdy boy, and he didn’t have a nose whistle.
“Nothing,” Rel murmured, turning back towards the woods that lined her parents’ farm. She took a deep breath of the fresh air and held it as Jeremy sat down beside her, his jean-clad leg brushing her bare one. Her skirt had risen, revealing more of her thigh to the cool breeze of the night, and the heat of Jeremy’s gaze.
He put his hand on the cement between them, inching it towards her hands, spread behind her to support her weight. She nearly fell when their skin met. Sure it wasn’t the sparks she’d imagined, but the contact brought on enough butterflies in stomach to make up for it. Almost trembling with excitement, she shifted herself closer to him, puckering her lips as she looked at the stars.
His fingers found her cheek, turning her head to face his as he leaned forward. His deep blue eyes were closed, some of his dirty blonde hair falling over them, as he moved closer with his lips puckered.
Areli took a deep breath and started to lean, when a pain started in her arm. She wrote it off as a bug, though there weren’t many in October. Determined to have the perfect first kiss, she forced herself to keep leaning forward. A sudden burst of pain that brought spots of light behind her eyes made her pull away, a scream ripping from her throat as she clutched her knees. What was going on? The pain was unbearable. It was as if her legs were shrinking, her knees growing thinner and small beneath her hands. She clutched them tightly, letting out another scream that ended as a howl as her mouth and nose lengthened into a muzzle. White fur grew from her skin, breaking through in thick tufts. Her hair, golden blonde and curled into soft waves receded into her skull. She tried to grab at it, but got only handfuls of soft fur. Another wave of pain up her spine sent a howl from her lips. She fell to the ground, arching her back as her spine shrunk and her bones shifted. Her hands, fingers receding into her palms, ran down the side of her head, catching on her now pointed ears. She let out a final howl of pain before her body was completely wolf.
“Areli!”
The wolf turned to face its parents. Her father’s dark blue eyes met her now yellow ones and they both froze.
“No,” he murmured, but it was too late. From her peripheral vision the wolf registered Jeremy standing, his back against the barn, and his feet inching him towards the barn.
The wolf’s mind registered a chase and she turned to him, breathing in the stench of his fear. She crouched and sprang, claws digging into the boys back, sending him sprawling across the steps. Dragging him onto the grass, she rolled him over and brought her teeth down on his throat. Driven by animalistic instinct she tore through his jugular. Even with Jeremy dead she didn’t stop, clawing through flesh and biting into muscle.
A black wolf caught her by the back of the neck and dragged her away, the way a mother would drag off a pup. She didn’t fight him as realization set in. Her jaw opened and closed, trying to grasp what had just happened. He released her a few yards from the body and returned to human form, kneeling by the boy and trying to cover his wounds. It was no use. Jeremy was dead. And it was all her fault.
Her body returned to PB, but she barely noticed it, relishing the pain. Good, she deserved to hurt with what she’d done. Staring at the body, tears rolled from her face to the grass, sharing her sorrow with the earth.
Trembling, she whispered, “I…I’m so sorry.”
