She can be a hard working student one moment but a moment later she will be with friends and be the life of the party. She knows womens rights are "equal" to mens and she makes sure to exercise that often. She is very fun loving but is also a very dedicated student. She is very into her studies and is known for getting no lower then a B- most of the time. She is very opinionated and will stick behind it strongly.

She also tends to be a little bit of a space cadet. she often will start looking at something and space out, but she wouldn't dare to ever do it in a class weather she liked it or not. She has a habit of getting homework done the night its assigned, so she doesn't have to do it the night before its due.

Hailey is strong willed and can be very stubborn but she is a lot of fun.Hailey is also very cunning and witty and will never fail to give you the honest truth. She isn't all work and no play though this girl knows how to have fun. Hailey can also be very fun and playful and very spontaneous. For example, She loves Velociraptors, loves them to Pluto and back and more.Another thing thats pretty interesting about Hailey is that she always has a fedora, weather its a good hair day or a bad hair day she wont be seen out and about with out one.

She is also very friendly and when she has a good friend she tend to become something like their big sister or guardian .The reason for this is the way her aunt treated her after all the hard ships of their life before her and her brother moved to France. She is also very protective over her little brother, Because after he was born Hailey saw how their father treated their mother and knew Nathan would try and do it to Anthony too.


Her Serval is a lot like her but a lot more high strung and very protective over Hailey almost like a mother serval over her cubs. The Serval is very competitive but all in good fun of course. Haileys' Serval can be very touchy when it or Hailey is insulted or if it feels like they are in danger.Her serval is also very cunning and witty just as much as Hailey is. It is also twice as fast as your average serval because Hailey has always been a fast runner.

Hailey Stands at 5'4" and she is proud of her height. Her eyes change from silver to a brilliant bright blue. Her hair is fairly short in the back but her bangs reach to right below her right eye brow. Her hair is a bright almost platinum blonde that matches her eyes very well. Hailey is pretty pale but this doesn't mean she doesn't like to get out and have fun.

Something you rarely see Hailey with out is a fedora.
whether it is good weather or bad weather, or a good hair day or a bad one she will always have one one. She also has a scar on the back of her left thigh from when Hailey first shifted it is about 3 inches long and a good centimeter and a half wide. When she isn't in class she is rocking out on, listening to her iPod. The moment she is in class though her book is on the table and she is taking notes.

Also on her left ear she has the cartilage pierced, for her brother. Then on her right wrist in French she has a tattoo that reads "Freedom.Music.Fun" in a small,bright blue, very fancy lettering, for her aunt.On her left shoulder she has tattoo of a rose that on the out side of every petal is pink and the in side is yellow. she has one to match on her ankle the one on her ankle has the name "Annabell" and the one on her shoulder has the name"Clarice", for her mother and little sister.


Hailey's shift looks almost like any other Serval cat but hers can run faster, jump higher and pounce quicker then most Servals. Her shift has bright blue almost white eyes. The several Also has better eye sight then most because Hailey in human form has excellent eye sight as it is. The Serval looks like a cheetah but the size of a house cat and with longer skinnier legs. Her Serval is mainly a golden brown with black spots so she is a bit darker then most as well. Servals have pretty big ears which helps with finding prey or people. When hunting she often uses her big ears and her eye sight to her advantage to find food.This Serval may be short but its long legs help it to run twice as fast as any normal Serval.
Her Serval also has a matching scar on its left back leg from when Hailey first shifted it is about 3 inches long and a good centimeter and a half wide.

Hailey was born in a little town by the ocean in the United Kingdom. She grew up with her mother and father, then she turned 2 and she had a little brother named Felix Anthony Jones. She always called him Anthony cause he looked more like an Anthony then a Felix and she automatically became very protective of him. Then once Hailey turned five her father left her and her mother and her little brother. Then a month later Nathan came back and always smelt of alcohol and was a lot meaner towards Hailey and tried to be meaner to Anthony but Hailey would protect him as best she could. When he left again it was no surprise to their mother Clarice. Hailey and Anthony started going to school and learning things and making friends. Then Hailey turned ten and found out her mother was pregnant again but not with one of Nathans children.

Shortly after a few months her mom went into labor Haily and max would have a little sister. Sadly Clarice nor Annabell made it, the both died that horrible night. Her and Anthony had no other choice but to move in with their drunken father, Nathan. Their father abused them and hurt them horribly it got worse with every night he drank.

Finally Haily turned 14 the age of her first shift. Her father was drunk beyond belief and he threated to kill her like always but she stood up against him to protect her and her little brothers life. She wouldn't handle the abuse anymore she had to get them out of here some how. He stood up and pulled out his pocket knife Hailey stood tall still but inside wasn't sure what to do. She felt a sudden sharp pain in the back of her left thigh she screamed and then felt a tearing at her skin. Her eyes got wide once she saw her self sprouting fur from where her skin had been. The feeling was so new and painful but at the same time slightly refreshing. All of a sudden she felt her bones start to pop out of place and move she screamed again in agony. Next thing she knew she was a smaller but she knew she was more dangerous now then she was as a human. She leaped of the ground and gnawed at her fathers throat tearing his skin and snarling. She stopped and jumped back as soon as the man hit the floor. She then felt all the pain she had a moment ago but almost as if it were in reverse. She snarled and growled at the pain and then came back to her human form.She was shocked at what she had just done but she did it to save her brother and her own life's.

She looked over at Anthony and he told her what had happened. He then bandaged her leg up and made sure she would be okay.Then she remembered once when she was much younger she had seen her mother do the same thing but into a cheetah, This cleared up some of the confusion for her.She explained to him that she only did it to protect his life and hers. That night they packed all their things and left to France to go live with their ,slightly insane, Aunt Katarina. Hailey and Anthony had always been close with their aunt so they knew she would be okay with it. Once Haily turned Fifteen her aunt took her to get her first tattoo's. It didn't take Hailey long at all to decide what she wanted she told the man a rose on her shoulder and one one her ankle to match. She also told him She wanted the name "Clarice" in the one on her shoulder, and the name "Annabell" on the one on her ankle for her unborn little sister. She told him the colors she wanted and the man nodded and told her " That is the most meaningful tattoo idea i have heard in a long time, I'm proud of you."

Hailey smiled and sat back in the chair and tried to relax as best as she could. Two hours later it was done, it was perfect just the way Hailey had imagined it. She smiled thanked him and paid and left. A few days later her aunt found her in her room crying. Her aunt asked her why, Hailey told her every thing about what had happened the night of her first shift. Her aunt smiled and comforted her and told her to pack her things up and that she would look after Anthony. Hailey asked her aunt "why" her aunt told her all about Shifter Academy and said it was a whole school full of people who could change into an animal just like she could. Hailey loved the sound of it but couldn't help but wonder how her aunt knew. Her aunt told Hailey that she got the gene from not only Katarina but her mother as well. Hailey smiled and went off to pack her things.

The next Morning she went back by the tattoo shop and asked the man to do one last tattoo for her she wanted it to say"Music.Freedom.Fun" and she wanted it in a light blue ink. She wanted these three particular words because, Music could always changer her mode, Freedom was something she always loved to have,Fun is something her aunt had taught her how to appreciate. She again laid back and let the man go to work. Afterwards she asked the man for one more thing a piercing in her cartridge on her left ear, she had a tattoo for her mother,little sister, her aunt, and now a piercing for her brother. She did a piercing for her for her brother because he was the one she had taken so much pain for but no matter what she'd still always adore him. Shortly after he finished her aunt drove her off to the airport. Hailey has been at Shifter Academy since she was a sophomore and she is so glad her aunt told her about it.

Hailey ran through the school hoping she wouldn't be late for her next class. She turned sharply around a corner and ran right into the dean. She quickly bit her lip thinking of a reason she could use for why she was running. He asked her of course why she had been running. She said"Well its because my last teacher held all of us in a few minutes past the bell because some clown was messing around in the back of the class." She hoped he would believe her and let her go she really liked her next class. It was Mythology, she had always liked the class cause all the names of creatures and the history of it all was just amazing.

He sighed and let her off with a "don't do it again". She smiled and headed off down the hall and shouted back"Thank you". She let out a big sigh as she sat down in her desk letting her bag fall to the floor gently she tried to make as little noise as possible. She quickly pulled out her book and notebook hoping the professor wouldn't notice she was late. She looked strait down to the book and realized it was the wrong book. the teacher walked up placing a hand on her book and picking it up she looked up slowly biting her lip unsure of what to say or do. The teacher looked down at her "Miss.Jones, this isn't photography class and your late, but since your a good student ill let you off this time, don't let it happen again okay Jones." Hailey nodded silently and the professor but her book back down on her desk he then told her "page 248"


She put her Photography book back in the bag and sighed grabbing the mythology book she had wanted the first time and sighed. She always had a rough first day of school no matter what year she was. then she realized that this didn't seem like the mythology teacher all the seniors whined about last year, he seemed cool. All the seniors had used many rude word to describe him but she hadn't seen any proof of any of it, but why would the seniors lie. She Shrugged it off and pushed her book open to page 248 and began to take notes. She smiled to her self wondering what this year wold be like now that she was a senior.
