- Nature- Lyn has always been very fond of the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing. She feels that spending time outdoors is very centering and helps her stay in touch with reality.
- Wrestling- Though definitely not the first sport one would think of for a teenage girl like Caitlyn, wrestling is still one of Lyn's favorite activities. The physicality of the sport means that Lyn is able to release her animal energy without losing control.
- Sculpture- Lyn is only just learning how to sculpt, but she has always enjoyed viewing sculptures in art galleries and showcases. She finds it amazing that clay from the earth can be shaped into such striking, beautiful forms.
- Chinese Food- Whether the greasy Westernized version or the delicate oriental original, Chinese food is a favorite of Lyn's.
- Cars- There's nothing like knowing how much complexity goes into the creation and powering of automobiles to make you appreciate them, even when you have to take them to the shop for repairs.
- Republic Commandos Series- Even though she's not a huge fan of Star Wars, Lyn still enjoys reading and re-reading every book of the Republic Commandos series.
- Swimming- Lyn isn't on an official swim team, but she does enjoy going to the pool to swim a few laps.
- Donnie Darko- Donnie Darko is one of Lyn's favorite movies. Time travel, giant rabbit men, mind-blowing paradoxes- what's not to love?
- Dark Green- Dark green is Lyn's favorite color.
- Acoustic Guitar- Lyn is only a bit above beginner's level on the guitar, but she likes almost all music played on the acoustic guitar.

- Makeup- Lyn isn't one of those people who think makeup debases women. She just hates the itchy feeling she gets each time she wears it.
- Preppy girls- Lyn feels a sort of disdain towards preppy girls, though she doesn't go out of her way to bully them.
- Big cities- Smog, garbage, and crowded streets all make city life unbearable to Lyn.

- Clowns- Lyn isn't afraid of clowns. She just thinks their obnoxious.

- Cooking- Lyn's idea of cooking is microwaving a bowl of Chef Boyardee ravioli. Anything that requires more than that is out of her expertise.

- Death Metal- Death metal is Lyn's least favorite kind of music.
Fears: (At least 3)
- Losing control- With such a volatile animal form, Lyn knows that a loss of control can mean serious consequences for herself and everybody around her.
- Growing old- To Lyn, nothing can be worse than being unable to do the things she loves because of old age. To her, death is a better option.
- Hunters- Lyn has always been afraid that a hunter would mistake her for a real bear and shoot her. Or worse, that they'd shoot her because she was a shifter.

- Aggression- If Lyn doesn't find an outlet for her aggression, she'll often turn on the people around her.

Caitlyn grew up with three older brothers and a father who believed she should be raised exactly as they had been. It was no wonder that Caitlyn grew to be a tomboy with a thorough knowledge of cars, sports, and the outdoors.
Caitlyn is a tough and tenacious individual, always willing to get back up again, no matter what setback she might face. This has proved to be a mixed blessing, as she sometimes chooses to struggle against impossible obstacles when she should be finding another way around instead. This often leads to frustration that manifests into aggression that she needs a physical outlet to release. If a physical outlet isn’t available, she becomes irritable and likely to start a fight. Fortunately for Caitlyn and others around her, she has found an outlet in wrestling, a sport where she can vent her frustrations in a positive way.
Caitlyn is a very down-to-earth, practical kind of person. She values hard work and tangible results. To her, hypothetical thinking is a waste of time. She dislikes people who feel that they can float through life without any effort or people who assume everything will fall into place in time. To her, the only way to succeed is to struggle. This has caused many of her peers to view her as kind of a stick-in-the-mud, and she doesn’t have many friends.
Luckily, Caitlyn’s older brothers are very supportive of her and stay in regular contact. Caitlyn cherishes her older brothers and sees them as confidants and friends. To her, they are the only family she has that doesn’t judge her because of her ‘condition.’
Caitlyn hates artificiality in any of its forms. She prefers the natural side of life and spends a lot of her time outdoors, hiking, fishing, or just hanging out. She can’t stand artificial people who pretend to be things they are not for their own gain. She dislikes having to keep her life a secret from outsiders, as it makes her feel as if she is as fake as the artificial people she despises.
Overall, Caitlyn is a steadfast, reliable person who works hard to maintain control over her life and emotions. Even if she can be a bit too serious, she is always someone you can depend on for help. Of course, you should give her space if she’s in a bad mood, unless you want to end up with a formidable enemy.

Celebrity Play By: Romana Umrianova
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Caitlyn looks the part of a tomboy, with short hair and zero makeup. Her hair is brown and often quite messy. When she was younger, she tried putting in different colored highlights, but in the end, decided that it wasn’t her style. She has not dyed her hair since then. The only maintenance her hair faces is being washed in the shower and quickly combed before Caitlyn walks out the door.
Caitlyn’s eyes are light blue and wide-set. She has been told that her eyes always make her look angry or serious, but she can’t do much to change that. In all honesty, her eyes are rather intense and probably a bit intimidating to other people who assume she’s glaring at them if she makes eye contact.
Caitlyn is very lean and strong, a trait she has acquired from wrestling and other physical activity. She is capable of fighting and winning against a good number of people and the others on the wrestling team know it. Even when she isn’t wrestling, Caitlyn gets a good work out, whether in the gym, or hiking outside. People who don’t know her often don’t realize how strong she is, since her muscles are often hidden beneath her baggy clothing.
Caitlyn’s outfit usually consists of a hand me down shirt from her brothers, jeans, and a baggy leather jacket. She never wears jewelry, as it would be a hassle to remove and store whenever she’s doing anything physical. She owns very little clothes that are specifically made for females, as most of her clothes are hand me downs from her brothers. She does, however, have a couple of dresses that her mom bought her for special occasions, though she wouldn’t be caught dead wearing them unless she absolutely had to.
Caitlyn’s animal form is that of a grizzly bear. In this form, Caitlyn stands at about seven feet tall and is very powerful, capable of killing a human with a single swipe of her massive paw. Her fur is a caramel brown color and darker around the muzzle. Like that of most grizzly bears, her fur is very thick and shaggy. Her eyes are dark brown and very clear. She is equipped with long claws that are she cannot retract, meaning that she can do significant damage with them, even if she does not mean to. Because of this, she has to be very careful and controlled when in her grizzly bear form.

...history
Parents: Robert Moore, Jessica Moore
Siblings: Robert Moore Jr, Jason Moore, Steven Moore
[400 words minimum]
Caitlyn’s father came from a traditionalist family, while her mother had less certain roots and was a shifter herself. Her father was unaware of this until she revealed her ability to turn into a cat only a few days before their wedding. Her father’s family wanted to call of the wedding, but he refused and the ceremony continued as planned.
They had three sons, none of whom grew up to be shifters, so they thought the matter would end there. However, after an unplanned pregnancy, Caitlyn’s mother gave birth to a girl. For a while, it seemed that she too might have been normal. She had a calm childhood, devoting much of her time to school sports and spending lots of time with her brothers. She started showing signs of her condition in her pre-pubescent years. She craved meat and she always had the urge to go outside, regardless of the weather. Her mother and father both sat her down and told her what would happen. She thought they were playing some sort of trick on her and disregarded their warnings.
The first time she shifted was in the middle of her math class. She told her teacher she wasn’t feeling well and asked to go to the nurse, but he refused. A few minutes later, she fell from her chair, convulsing violently. In front of the entire class, she shifted into a full-grown grizzly bear. She mauled her math teacher and injured several students before running from the classroom. From there, she ran into the hallway in a blind frenzy, charging anybody who got in her way. When she finally shifted back into her human form, she collapsed, exhausted on the ground. Dozens of people were sent to the hospital, some in critical condition. To this day, she doesn’t know how many people lived and how many people were killed by her actions.
There was an official cover-up for what happened at the school. The event was described as a freak incident where a wild grizzly bear had wandered into the school. Caitlyn herself was kept hidden away at home, her cover being that she had been killed in the grizzly bear attack. Her parents started to treat her differently, with a kind of fear now that they knew power she possessed. She was forced to stay hidden inside the house for a number of months before her parents found out about Shifter Academy. They enrolled her immediately, barely telling her what was going on before sending her off.

[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
Caitlyn's grizzly bear form is a manifestation of her personality. Her tenacious, often stubborn nature is reflected in the bear's way of hunting, tracking prey for miles or spending hours in the frigid waters trying to catch a meal. She is very connected to the outdoors, especially wooded areas and places that a bear would live. Also like a bear, she can be very aggressive and will lash out physically at others if pushed too far. Finally, her need to protect others, a characteristic that lead her to choosing a law enforcement major, is no more apparent than in the tendencies of a mother bear, who will go to any length to protect her cubs.

Zam watched her intended target from the shadows, noting his staggering gait and dense grin as he stumbled from the bar with his friends. Zam scowled derisively. No wonder the opposition wanted him murdered. He’d make a horrible leader. After all, what elected official got drunk upon learning of his victory? Pathetic, these politicians. At least his altered state meant that Zam’s job would be much easier.
She straightened out the tiny dress she was wearing and gripped the cheap handbag closer to her. She glanced at her reflection in the window next to her. She was in the form of a blonde human female with blue eyes and a very… voluptuous figure to say the least. She smirked at her reflection. Human males always fell for the curves.
Giving herself a final look over, she strode out towards her victim, bouncing lightly with each step, a seductive smile on her lips. The politician and his friends noticed her immediately. A wave of catcalls and whistles went up as she approached. Zam giggled and sauntered over, making sure to focus all her attention on her target. The last thing she wanted was to end up with one of his friends. She placed a hand on his shoulder and leaned in close. “You look like somebody who’s looking for a good time.” She whispered. The man’s friends all grinned and nudged their drunken friend impishly. “Why don’t you come with me?” Zam said, “I’ll show you the best time you can have on this side of the galaxy.”
The man smiled doggishly up at her, “Jus’ name the place.” He slurred.
Zam smiled, “A hotel room.” She said, “Just you and me.”
“Alright, sweetie.” The man said, placing a greasy arm around her waist, “Just lead the way.”
Zam fought back a shudder of revulsion and forced herself to place her own arm around the man. His friends all gave him a variety of vulgar congratulations as they watched them leave. Zam lead the man away until they were out of view of his friends. She then started down the planned path towards the Lower Levels. The man either didn’t notice or didn’t care. Even as Zam lead him through the darkest of alleys, he was too busy trying to slip a hand up her skirt to notice that they were deep in the heart of the Lower Levels, far from where the authorities would ever suspect a well to-do politician to be.
Zam stopped in the middle of a deserted alley, untangling herself from the man’s embrace. The man blinked dumbly, “This isn’t a hotel room.” He said. A crude smile formed on his lips, “Though I would say it is plenty private enough.”
Zam giggled, “My thoughts exactly.” She said. The man was already undoing his trousers as Zam reached into her handbag. “Wait.” Zam said. The man looked up. “Close your eyes.” Zam commanded.
The man grinned and did as she told, “What are you gonna do?” He asked.
“You’ll see.” Zam said, pulling the stiletto knife out of her handbag. The man leaned forward expectantly, his eyes still closed. Zam smirked and shed her human form as she walked up to him.
“Open your eyes.” Zam said, her voice no longer that of a human female, but the hissing rasps of a Clawdite. The man opened his eyes and his smile was replaced by a look of horror. At this moment, Zam slashed the stiletto blade across the man’s throat. The man slumped backwards onto the alley wall before sinking to the ground, a look of horror still on his face as he looked up at Zam. He gurgled, trying to make a noise of some sort, probably a scream. Zam regarded him coldly and watched as he finally died. She pulled a change of clothes out of her bag, doing her best to keep it free of blood.
By the time Zam left, the only thing left for the authorities had to find were a dead body and an untraceable description. It was just another death that couldn’t be explained, one that would never be solved. Another death at the hands of the Changeling and another salary that would fund the freedom of another one of Zam’s friends. Through this man’s death, somebody, somewhere, would get a second chance at life.[/b][/i][/size]
