You know those moments where you are told something and just stare at the person like they are crazy? Yeah. This was most definately one of those times.
Her, captain? Who would have thought that even possible?! Why was she, a sophomore captain of Lavender Team for Summer Madness? Wouldn't they want a junior or senior? You know, older, wiser.
Deimon held back a deep sigh. Oh well. No turning back now. She'd just have to make the best of it. Which she would, no doubt about it. She just hoped she didn't make a mess of things. A few more moments of her self wallowing, before she quickly perked up just in time to realize she stood bare inches from the door.
She blinked, her perky expression replaced with sheer surprise. Where had the door come from...? It most certainly had not been there a few moments before. Another sigh. That's what she got for walking while deep in thought. It was a miracle she hadn't just ran straight into the wooden plank!
"Hm...." She didn't know why, but she had the sudden urge to paint the door. It was so plain, who wouldn't want to paint it? Maybe she'd ask some of the more artistically gifted schoolmates on their team if they wanted to paint it. Deimon would do it herself... If she had any talent in the field. But as most noticed, her artistic skills were -100 on a scale of 1 to 10. Just take that backpack of hers. The poor thing... It looked like paint threw up on it. If the bag was alive, it probably would have committed suicide, if that goes to show how artistically challenged she was.
She slowly turned the knob, sliding the subject of her previous thoughts out of her way, slipping in as soon as it was wide enough and letting the door swing shut.
... It was empty.
Seriously? No one else was here? Deimon sighed. Well that put a damper on things. Now she'd have to wait.... and wait... and wait until someone finally came. And she wanted to meet all her team mates!
So, she sulked.
Pacing back and forth, with a pout on her lips and a teary eyes look in her eyes, she waited for someone, anyone to come. In a matter of thirty seconds she was already bored of that, laying flat on her back, staring at the ceiling with a blank expression.
Finally, she heard the door squeak as it was opened, her head perking up. If she'd had cat or dog like ears they probably would have perked up as well, tail wagging.
