Mollie looked around the library sorta afraid to be caught by some one cool might spot her... or even worse some one lame might want to talk to her. It had been years since she stepped foot in a library. But she figured better late than ever. She pushed a pile of books across the table to make a spot for her lap top. She placed the computer on the table and pulled back her dyed brown hair. and fixed her neon yellow green tutu. She laughed taking a moment to twirl in a circle. She loved this outfit. She had on her Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle shirt on. They were the best cartoon. She might just have to watch an episode online. Then she had her tutu on over a pair of pink plaid skinny jeans. Bright pink.
On her feet were some of her favorite shoes though the heels only added four more inches to her height. She laughed again knowing she would tower over most at six foot four! The shoes were unique a dark blue with pink trim. Her jewelery was different to. on both wrists she wore bracelets though the one on her right wrist was her favorite she had a set of skull jewelery she stole it all of course but whatever. Mollie smiled letting her fingers slide over the rhinestones that were in her bracelet. She blinked knowing she came to do something important.
Mollie looked around again and then pulled out the wooden chair that was at the table. Mollie began to bite at her lip. It was an awful habit she couldn't get rid of. She shook her head and sat down in front of her laptop.
"Come on just.." she spoke to herself as her computer booted up. She sat her clutch on the table it was shaped like lips and very pretty. Very stylish. Mollie began to chew on the inside of her cheek as she typed away at her key board.
Mollie hit her fist on the table she had a virus. She made sure to keep her computer clean.
Mollie reached up from her key board and pushed a loose piece of hair behind her ear. She removed the virus not quite with ease. She smiled and decided to watch her turtles first before she did what she came to do. She took a deep breath played with the bracelets around he wrists.Clothes

Ethan had his laptop with him as he walked to the library. Bruce from "Finding Nemo" looked up at him from the top of it, his many teeth smiling at his "friends."
"Fish are friends, not food," Ethan murmured to himself, then continued walking, determined to get to the library before it was full. If it was full, he'd walk out as soon as he walked in. He was in a solitary mood today, not unless something piqued his interest of course. That probably wouldn't happen, though. This school had played all it's tricks on him, he'd been there since he was thirteen. Right after his mom shipped him off, tired of dealing with him.
Not that she ever dealt with him though, besides her murder attempts when he was a toddler. She had ignored him after his little brother was born, and he liked it like that. He was in better control of his moods when she wasn't around.
His shoes squeaked as he walked, and his shirt reminded him of the water. And his mom; she'd bought it for him in an attempt to make him look normal, as normal as someone who was six foot two could look at least. He wanted to go swimming so badly. His body ached for it, his shift ached for it. But he wouldn't chance it, the weather looked like it was going to get bad soon.
Ethan didn't even know why he was going to the library in the first place, though he suspected it was because he didn't feel like going any place else. A kid with a laptop looked normal in a library, and if he looked normal, no one would bother him, because from his experience, people always came up to him whenever he looked like he didn't want to be talked to. Though he wondered what people would say when they saw his "Finding Nemo" laptop skin.
He wouldn't care though, he could just brush them off like it was no big deal. He was pretty good at that, he always had been...unless they really started to annoy him.
Arriving in the library, Ethan held his back straight, his cold eyes scanning everybody, giving off the "Don't talk to me" look. He sat down a couple chairs away from a girl wearing high heels, and put his laptop down, booting it up. When he saw the Apple logo, he relaxed a little bit, ready to play some online poker.
His eyes caught the girl's computer screen though, and his curiosity couldn't be stopped: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" he asked.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?"
Mollie nearly jumped out of her shell skin when she heard a boy's voice sitting near her. Her hands immediately flew to the top of her lap top to close it. She was usually doing bad stuff on her computer.
Instead she took a breath and paused the episode of The Turtles that played on her screen. She crossed her legs. She laughed and tossed her hair. She looked at what the boy was wearing something easy for her to judge but the first thing that popped out at her was the Finding Nemo skin that was on the boy's lap top.
It was one of the coolest thing ever! She smiled at the boy and leaned over to his computer and tapped the picture of Bruce.
"Finding Nemo?" Mollie asked back. The beads of her bracelets tapped on the top of the boy's laptop along with her fingers. She leaned back over and fluffed the bright yellow tutu that she had put over her pink plaid skinny jeans. Man did she love this out fit!
Mollie sat back and studied the boy's clothes again. He was doing good for a boy. The shirt brought out his eyes and his jeans fit him well. He went wrong when he got to his shoes.
Mollie bit her lip. Her hand went up to the biggest Rhine stoned skull that hung around her neck. She was about to open her mouth and say something about the boy's improper shoes when the weather outside caught her attention.
She uncrossed her legs and peered around the boy to see the through the window. The winds were picking up and the trees were swaying and bending where they would almost break.
"Ummm?" Mollie scanned the rest of the library not sure what was going on. The only thing she was use to was earthquakes being from California.
She flipped herself around and typed stuff into her computer looking for a weather forecast.
"Do you see that?"

"Finding Nemo?" the girl asked back, and Ethan shrugged.
"I always felt close to Bruce," he said with a smile, wondering if she even guessed what his shift was. The shark in him could tell that she was a sea turtle, sharks ate sea turtles, after all. His smile was wiped completely off his face when he saw what was outside the window.
The girl went back to her computer, searching for a weather forecast. "Do you see that?" she had asked, and he immediately thought, How can you not see that? but didn't say it.
Instead, he replied, "Yeah, looks like the beginning of a hurricane to me. A bad one at that." He didn't think when he said that, he just said what was true. Ethan could never be a liar, not even in a situation like this.
His laptop had finally turned on completely, so after opening an online game of poker for later, he searched weather forecasts, too. Yeah, there was a hurricane brewing, at least according to the internet.
With the hand that wasn't on his track pad, he brushed his hair back, a habit that he was trying to get out of. The rain was falling harder than before, and not even the library's big windows could keep out the sound of the howling wind.
"It just keeps getting worse and worse," he mused out loud to himself. He had almost forgotten about the girl because of the hurricane, but he turned back to look at her.
Whereas his outfit was made for blending in, hers was the opposite. It was flashy and bold, and he surprisingly thought it was...well, not cool, but he thought it was cool that it didn't seem like she cared what people thought of her. He'd always admired that in people, but he wasn't the type to admire people often.
He drummed his fingers on his laptop, his ADHD coming through, and he wondered what this hurricane was. He hoped it wasn't Ethan, because that would just be weird.
"I'm glad I didn't decide to go swimming today," he said with a laugh, but it wasn't his usual "I'm enjoying myself laugh" but it was a laugh that said that he wasn't in the mood to talk much.
"I'm Ethan," he said nonchalantly, his face blank, attempting to keep his intimidation factor, and he wondered how well a shark and a turtle would get along.

"I always felt close to Bruce,"
The boy responded to his awesome computer skin. Mollie, though, was way to distracted by finding what was up with the weather.
"Yeah, looks like the beginning of a hurricane to me. A bad one at that."
Mollie shot the boy a glance like she would kill him. She really didn't like what he said but something told her she should be intimidated by this boy.
She clicked on one last button and found the report of a hurricane. She chewed on her lip again glad she wasn't out swimming. Mollie clicked her heels under the table. She never did like storms.
"I'm glad I didn't decide to go swimming today,"
The boy laughed as the rain pounded against the building. Mollie took a deep breath and tried not to hit him.. Instead she opened her clutch and dug through for some lip gloss. She twisted it open and applied. It was the only thing she could do to keep her mind off the outside.
Mollie watched herself in her computer screen and glanced at the boy again. She twisted the cap back on and put the lip gloss back in the clutch then swung her feet around to see the boy.
He was good looking but the shoes were really getting to her. He needed a different style of tennis shoe. Something more classy then casual. Plus he could have tried to style his hair a little more.
She chewed on her lip again the pounding of the rain outside distracting her. Mollie felt a little trapped and really wanted to get wet. Water always calmed her down.
"I'm Ethan,"
The boy said as though nothing was happening outside. Mollie looked at him then looked at the window. she closed her lap top slowing thinking what to say to this boy back.
"Hi."
She flashed her teeth. Mollie was still bewildered that this Ethan kid was still so calm.
"I'm Mollie. With an I E and not a Y... "
Mollie was rambling some. The rain was mesmerizing. The pounding grew louder... if that was possible and thee tree tops looked as though they could touch the ground the way they were bending.
"Do you think we could go some where... safer?"

Ethan saw the girl give him a look that was obviously supposed to be intimidating, but he internally shrugged it off. He was just being honest, and he wasn't intimidated by some sea turtle. A great white shark was what he was, and he wasn't going to back down to an animal he considered prey.
She asked if they should go somewhere safer, so he replied, "I'm not going to lie, so I'm just going to say that this is probably one of the safest spots in the school, considering we're on the first floor." He flashed her a grin, but his eyes retained their steely look. "So all we can do, Mollie with an i and an e, is stay calm and not panic."
Oh, how he enjoyed playing this game! He could tell that she enjoyed attempting to be mean, but he knew that he would win. He always did; she was a kitten compared to him.
"The ocean is scary powerful, sometimes," he said as a conversation filler, and mentioned the trees that were bending unrealistically.
He went back to his computer, closing the weather tab, and making his first move in the poker game, listening to the rain outside of the windows. His arm automatically raised to run his hand through his hair, but he lowered it and started drumming his fingers instead.
Lightning and thunder flashed and sounded outside, causing Ethan to jump, and then he chuckled at himself, laughed at his fear of the storm.
"I wonder how much safer it would be under the water," he mused to himself, kind of talking to this Mollie girl. He hadn't completely made up his opinion about her, but it was probably closer to enemy than anything else. His ADHD was blocking his ability to think, he needed to keep moving, but he wondered if he should commit her name to memory or not.
He turned back to his poker game, and saw that he was winning. He smiled, then entered his move again.
This would be a lot more fun if it was real, he thought to himself.
His foot started tapping, for he was already bored with drumming his fingers, and he looked out the window. Ethan craved to be out there, so close to the ocean, but he knew it was unsafe.
Unsafe, yes, but he thought it would be so amazing to surf out there on those huge waves!
At least, that's what he thought until one of the windows broke.

"I'm not going to lie, so I'm just going to say that this is probably one of the safest spots in the school, considering we're on the first floor. Mollie flipped around and pouted her lips. She had never liked storms. Plus she didn't like this guy. She was fine with fighting girls but she had always been the one guys fall for. So instead she decided to play helpless hoping this guy wasn't the creep she had a feeling he was.
Mollie flattened her Ninja turtle skirt and stuck out her lady parts. She was good at playing loose it had gotten her places you wouldn't believe.
But before she could start a game with the Ethan boy he spoke again. "So all we can do, Mollie with an i and an e, is stay calm and not panic."
She glared at him again she lost her posture and placed a hand on her hip. She really didn't like this guy. Though she did see him as little bit cute. She chewed on her lip trying to figure out what to do.
"The ocean is scary powerful, sometimes,"
Mollie once again looked out the window at the mention of the ocean. She sighed then made her way back to her seat near the boy. She starred at him wondering what his shift as. Not that she cared. She didn't even like the idea. Though now that she knew she was something besides human she couldn't help but think about the others. She shuddered.
Lightning struck making her and Ethan jump. Mollie re opened her lap top as the boy chuckled she didn't believe this was funny. They could freakin' die!
"I wonder how much safer it would be under the water,"
The boy mused.
"How should I know? I can barely stand the thing raging outside."
Mollie mumbled under her breath. She say the boy start drumming his fingers. It was distracting. Then he started tapping his foot on the ground. Mollie turned her attention to her screen trying to get her mind off the boy but she couldn't. Instead she sat seeming to look at her computer screen while she was actually starring at the boy.
Then suddenly the window she had been looking through early burst. The glass Flew every where as the rain came pouring in. If Mollie was a book junkie she would have saved the books under the window. Instead she closed her laptop and fetched her clutch.
Mollie didn't scream she was to scarred for that instead she bumped into the scary dude!.
Mollie looked at him and stumbled back in her heals.
"What do we do now smart one! This is REALLY safe!"
She was yelling one because she was mad and two to be heard above the storm. She was scared and the only person who was going to help was this boy. So, he better stop being weird and start being a hero.

Just Keep Swimming of her birthmark, she just didn’t like to show it off). She didn’t feel comfortable. Whether it was from being soaked or whether it was from the clothes she was wearing. She like the shirt, since she loved Finding Nemo, but she wasn’t used to wearing bracelets or bright shorts. She felt the hallway floor against her bare feet; she wanted to hit herself in the forehead for not wearing shoes that day. She hadn’t thought about it, but shoes would have been a lot better. The floor was cold, and she almost slipped with every step since her feet were still wet from outside. She saw an open door and walked in. She saw a few computers, books, and some table where people could sit. She had found the library. She looked around before she went and sat down at a table farthest away from any window. There was hardly anyone in the library. Melany saw two other people, but she didn’t see anyone else…but that didn’t mean they weren’t there. She couldn’t see the entire library, so someone could be in the stacks looking at books or she could have just over looked someone. She sat slumped in the wooden chair, she felt bad for getting it soaked…but she didn’t feel bad enough to get up. She saw two people by a window, a boy and a girl, the girl seemed kind of annoyed…and the boy wasn’t getting the hint. Melany sighed and flipped her hair behind her shoulder, she could tell what was going on in a situation but when she was involved in a situation she could never tell if she was talking too much. She looked at the boy and girl again. Melany thought the girl was dressed really odd, the boy was dressed pretty good, but…something about the girl seemed strange in general. Melany, unwillingly, got up from the chair to find something to do. She looked through the stacks, not finding anything interesting. She walked up and down the stacks of books, reading every title looking for something to at least semi-read. She finally found something that looked interesting The Holocaust: Our Side, she was just about to flip it over to read the back and see what it was about when she heard a big crash. Melany ran to the end of the stack and saw that a window had busted, she saw the girl yell at the boy. She wasn’t close enough to hear her, but she looked really mad. Melany wanted to run, get away from the storm…but instead she grabbed her book and walked toward a different window, one that you could barely see the ocean from. Melany sat by it on the floor, her book in her hands, and got ready to begin to read. [/ul] 588 Clothes:HereTag: Ethan, Mollie, open. Oh, God. Not only had this girl attempted to be loose, which freaked Ethan out a little bit, but now she was screaming at him, although that was partly because of the wind.
"Well since the window just broke, we should go to a place without windows, obviously!" he yelled, trying to control his anger. This girl was definitely an enemy, maybe he would like her if they didn't have conflicting shifts, but the animal instinct ran too deep, at least for him.
Ugh, sea turtles, he thought, then ran his hand through his hair again. Stupid ADHD.
"So the bathrooms would probably be the safest place!" he added, his eye catching the only other person left in the library, everybody else having smartly fled, they were stupid to be still in there.
She was pretty, like the other girl, but she was more of a natural pretty, she didn't have on gobs of lipstick or a tutu, just a normal outfit. And the "Finding Nemo" tee shirt was awesome, though it didn't have Bruce on it, which would have made it instantly cooler.
He darted forward, and he grabbed the wrist of the pretty girl, and said, "You really shouldn't be by the shelves! They could fall!" And then he got a whiff of sea turtle.
He was having a lot of bad luck today...two sea turtles, no surfing, and a hurricane. He would have sighed, but that would have been really rude.
He grabbed Mollie by the wrist, too, using his same arm, his other one had both of their laptops, and pulled them along into the bathroom, he had to keep moving, hurricanes were never safe. He didn't think about what he was doing though, he just acted. They'd probably think he was some crazy person, which some people would say he was, but hey, he was just trying to help.
As soon as he pulled the pretty girl, which was what she was in his head at the moment, considering Mollie had lost any attractive qualities once she started acting loose, a bookshelf fell right where she had been sitting.
He got them to the bathroom, shoving, no, lightly pushing, them in, then followed them in.
He sighed, and said at a normal level, for they couldn't really hear the wind where they were, "This should be safer than in there, hopefully." He looked at both of them, now standing side by side, that was the way he had pushed them in, and he said, "Wow. You two look like twins."

"Well since the window just broke, we should go to a place without windows, obviously!"
Mollie had been oblivious to the girl who had walked in. She was already mad at this Ethan kid and she didn't even notice the girl. Instead she hugged her lip clutch to her chest and puckered her own lips at the boy. She was afraid that she was going to hit him or do something worse. Mollies fingers began to turn white as her grip on the clutch tightened the more the boy talked.... Usually she liked boys.
"Sothe bathrooms would probably be the safest place!"
Mollie flattened the clutch to her chest or other wise she would have thrown it at the boy. She sucked her bottom lip in and started to chew on it she was really contemplating killing this guy... She could blame it on the hurricane.
"You really shouldn't be by the shelves! They could fall!"
Mollie was about to yell at him. She was no where near the stupid shelves! Thats when Mollie saw her. Her breath caught in her throat. Mollie knew that blonde hair. She had looked at it in the mirror before. Mollie instantly touched her wrist. She knew that on that girls hand would be the same birth mark she had. Before Mollie could say anything or even think about anything else. The boy was grabbing her and the other girl by their wrists and pulling them out of the library. Mollie stumbled some in her heels but quickly recovered. The first thing she thought... Well the second but the first thing wasn't that nice.... Was what about her lap top! She had that thing perfect... Mollie looked back and as she did she saw the book shelf topple over with a loud boom right where Mel... the other girl had been at.
Mollie squealed a little and put her focus on where the boy was pulling her. Good thing she was use to wearing heels or she would have had a broken ankle by now. Mollie squirmed as the boy slowed to push her and the other girl into a bathroom. EW.
Her and the other girl stumbled in next to each other. Mollie began to straiten her outfit. Flattening her shirt and keeping her tutu in check.
"This should be safer than in there, hopefully."
Mollie looked up at him and thought about killing him again.. Though before she could yell out, "That's what you said about the Library. Moron!" She saw the look on his face. That stopped Mollie she looked over at the girl. Well she had to look down some. She was quite shorter than Mollie... And it never helps that Mollie wears heels. Mollie just knew what he was going to say.
"Wow. You two look like twins."
Mollie glared at Ethan again. Really! She couldn't deal with this again she had met her older sister the first day she got here and that didn't go very well. She knew her twin would be the same. Still Mollie knew it was true but right now she felt like denying it. There was a Freaking hurricane outside and a stupid boy... Why make this day any worse.
"Impossible! One look at the height difference and the hair! Well the color at least. Plus if I had a twin she would be as pretty as me and not have such horrid fashion sense... Though the shirt is pretty cute."
Mollie tried to smile but it ended up more like a sneer. Mollie turned her self around and faced the mirrors. She set her clutch down and opened it up.
"You know this is so disgusting. Why didn't we at least go into a teacher restroom where they keep things clean."
Mollie talked to the mirror looking at her self. She began to take out all the make up from her clutch. She had cluttered the counter with her cosmetic products.
"Why, don't I look awful!"
Mollie moaned. She began reapplying eyeshadow and the works. She touched her hair and frowned. She turned over her shoulder and pouted.
" Do you know when this storm will be over? My hair is starting to flatten and we don't want that..."
She mused then turned back to the mirror. she went to add some more lip gloss when her bracelets fell down her arm revealing her birth mark. She stopped in mid lip to stare at it on her arm then look in the mirror not at her self but at the other girl. They looked so much a like. Well minus Mollie's stylish make up and fake hair color.
Mollie smiled some to her self finishing her lip gloss and shoving her make up back in her clutch. She let her bracelets fall back over her birth mark and then started musing her hair.... Maybe she should go back blonde.... word count 856 tag Melany Twin!!!! notes: Denial!!! Music Mostly Cell Block Tango and other Chicago songs

Just Keep Swimming Melany snapped her head up, trying to see who interrupted her reading. It was the guy who had just been by the window with some really tall girl, and he was heading right for her. She couldn’t help but slightly flinch as he reached for her; it was a reaction she couldn’t get rid of. He pulled her by her wrist, and her book fell on the floor. Melany slightly frowned as it hit the ground, she may have been a conformist, but she couldn’t help loving to read. He pulled her along the girl who had been yelling at him…something about that girl seemed familiar to Melany, but she couldn’t tell what. She felt the cold, hard hallway floor under her bare feet. She heard the girl’s high heels clanking on the floor next to her. Melany and the other girl were pushed into the bathroom by the boy, she stood next to the other girl and couldn’t help but try to recall seeing her face somewhere. "This should be safer than in there, hopefully." Melany saw the look the other girl gave the boy, it seemed like she really couldn’t stand him. Melany brushed her still wet hair behind her ear slightly and looked at the boy, then at the girl, then at the boy again. She hadn’t seen these people before…not that she could remember. Though, the girl looked extremely familiar, but Melany still couldn’t place where she had seen that face. “Wow. You two look like twins.” Melany couldn’t help but let a confused look spread across her face as the boy commented on how her and the other girl looked alike, twins?. She knew nothing of her real family…as in nothing, not their names, facial features…nothing. She didn’t even know her real last name. Melany was about to deny it when the other girl beat her to the punch, “Impossible! One look at the height difference and the hair! Well the color at least. Plus if I had a twin she would be as pretty as me and not have such horrid fashion sense...Though the shirt is pretty cute.” Melany looked at the other girl and saw a scowl replace the some-what smile she had had before. Melany looked at the floor, and slightly blushed. She didn’t think what she was wearing was that horrible…she began to wish she had just stuck with how she usually dressed. Melany was about to say something again, but (again) the girl spoke first, “"You know this is so disgusting. Why didn't we at least go into a teacher restroom where they keep things clean." She watched the girl go to the mirror and look at herself, Melany wanted to do the same thing, but, honestly, she didn’t really care how she looked anymore. It was storming outside, and she had been surfing in it…with someone else’s board, no less. Melany just wanted to sit on the floor and go to sleep. “Why, don’t I look awful!..........Do you know when this storm will be over? My hair is starting to flatten, and we don’t want that…” Melany watched the girl watch herself in the mirror…and she couldn’t help but notice that when the girl’s bracelet fell down she had the same birthmark Melany did. Melany felt her mouth slightly drop as her left hand moved to touch the same birthmark she had on her right wrist. Melany wanted it to be a coincidence…but she knew that it couldn’t be. But, Melany also knew this girl seemed to not want them to be twins. So, she didn’t mention that they had the same birthmark. And she didn’t mention that they looked a lot alike. Melany watched the girl put on lip gloss and then start messing with her hair. She didn’t understand why this girl was so obsessed with her looks; no one was there but Melany, the boy, and the girl. Who was the girl trying to impress? Melany sighed internally, and tried not to yawn. “I’m Melany,” she extended her hand to the boy, deciding to let the girl focus on how she looked.
Melany bit her lip slightly, I wonder if this girl really is related to me….

Ethan shook his head in annoyance at Mollie, but kept his feelings to himself for once. He couldn't believe Mollie was worrying about how she looked at a time like. In the middle of a hurricane! He kept his mouth shut, though, and didn't say anything, convincing himself that it wasn't considered lying. He couldn't stand liars.
"I'm Melany," the other girl said, extending her hand. He shook it, glad that she was, at least she seemed to be, pretty nice.
"Ethan," he replied. "And that's Mollie," he added, nodding his head in her general direction, because he figured she wouldn't introduce herself; she seemed to be in denial.
Does denial count as lying? he thought to himself. If it did, Mollie would be even more of an enemy. Not that she was a complete enemy yet, she was just on the way to becoming one.
He set her laptop down, and showed Melany his own, well, the skin, actually, Bruce's smile brightening his mood a little, commenting on how he liked her shirt, with a smile, surprisingly. Anything "Finding Nemo" related made him pretty happy.
His back was to the wall, so he slid down to the floor, his knees at chest level, and his feet extended. It was more comfortable than standing, but on the floor he couldn't stay moving as easily, at the risk of being rude. He ran his hand through is hair for probably the hundredth time that day, so he started drumming his fingers quietly on his knee instead.
"Are you a surfer?" he asked, drawing a little attention to her wet attire. "Those waves were definitely calling to me, I can tell you that." He smiled slightly, showing his teeth, as he talked about the waves. They had looked amazing, and he was a little sad that he didn't get to ride them. The sheer power was awe inspiring, the might and size of them was intoxicating.
"My board's in pretty bad shape though," he said, attempting to make conversation. "I've had it forever, and it shows."
Something to say to Mollie came into his head, and he wondered if he should or not.
He should, though he wondered if he'd regret it later on. He hoped he wouldn't, she kind of deserved it, she was being really rude. But then again, his idea was kind of rude, too.
"You know, Mollie, if you're going to be doing something in a hurricane, watching the Turtles would probably be a better choice than fixing your makeup."

"I'm Melany,"
Mollie choked a little. One for being ignored so rudely. Mollie knitted her eyebrows together at the thought.
Though Mollie really knew why her heart was racing and her breath was getting caught up.... It was because of what girl had said. Melany..... Melany Elizabeth Smith. God! Mollie wanted to turn around so bad and tell her. It didn't even seem like she knew.
Mollie dug her fingers into the edge of the counter trying not to scream. Trying to get her mind off having a family. Of having her real sisters her and not the stupid Foster sisters she had to put up with!
Mollie chewed on her lip. This was crazy. Mollie let out a slight squeal she had bit her lip to hard. Her hand flew to her mouth and she struggled not to cry. Not because of of her lip but because of this stupid school. She had thought this place would have been better. Better than being tossed around for three more years. Better than no one noticing her.
Mollie knew now she was wrong. This placed simply sucked. She wanted out of here. She didn't think that having a family would be this hard. Mollie had found out that having something, or someone to hold on to or to always be there was bad... She had never needed someone like that before. That's what Macey had wanted to be. Some one who was there... Well, no one had been there before.
Mollie had to make sure that Melany hated her. It would be easier for both of them this was... It would be easier for Mollie this way.
"Ethan,"
Well the sound of Ethan's voice made Mollie squirm. It had also brought her back to the present time. She sneered some at his name. Ya he was cute..... but Mollie had not even known him for more than twenty minutes maybe and her was already a prick. Worse than that really.
"And that's Mollie,"
Mollie glared at Ethan for a moment more then with a flip of her hair spun around to see Melany the other girl. She fluttered her fingers and gave the biggest fake-est smile she had. It wasn't that hard to pull off.
"Are you a surfer?"
That was Mollie's cue to go back to her mirror. She reapplied her lip gloss again. Biting her lip at made it less glossy. She smiled. Forgetting about the storm and her stupid problems and tried to think about how fabulous she looked.
"Those waves were definitely calling to me, I can tell you that."
I hope they were calling to drown you Mollie had to stop herself from cracking up! because if those "stellar" waves didn't kill him she probably would. If she could even get herself to go in the water with the dude.
Mollie took a step back. She could now see most of her body in the mirror. Though her head was cut off and so were her shoes..... She didn't need to see those now though. Instead she started pulling on her shirt and tutu. Fixing them so they looked just right.
"My board's in pretty bad shape though. I've had it forever, and it shows."
Mollie sighed. Was surfing really that cool? She was more into diving. It was something unique not many people know about high diving competitions. She stepped back up to the mirror to check out her make up again. She found waiting here in this bathroom useless. She wondered if the storm was over? If it was she was getting out of this place has fast as her heels would take her. She really found the boy creepy. and that Girrrrl.
"You know, Mollie, if you're going to be doing something in a hurricane, watching the Turtles would probably be a better choice than fixing your makeup."
Mollie looked at the boy baffled. She threw the eyeliner she had been applying in her clutch. This boy was so dumb! She could have strangled him.
Instead she flipped herself around. One of Mollies hands was resting on the counter the other on her hip that was cocked out. She fluttered her eye lashes really fast for a moment not really understanding if that was suppose to be a lame excuse of an insult.
"Ummm, Excuse me? Was that an insult because on the insult scale that really fell flat don't you think?"
Mollie flew her hand in the air like she was brushing him off. She turned not really wanting to deal with him at the moment.... Or really ever. But she turned back to him anyway. Very irritated and mad and cranky...
"You know Ethan... Your quite the guy. You try to kill me by telling me something was safe. When I believe you KNEW it wasn't. Then yo save this shrimp of a girl. Oh! Then you have the balls to call us twins... when you have no input in any of our lives. You don't know anything.... You know that? You don't know that I was pasted around in foster care or that Mel over there was Adopted out? No you know nothing of life or how to live it or how to be a decant person. So... If you really want to speak to me make sure it is about something worth while. Or if you are going to "insult" me make sure it is at least a decent one?"
Mollie had said that whole thing in one breath getting closer to the sitting boy with each step she was so mad. She didn't even now the words that were falling from her mouth. She didn't regret a word though. Instead she swiftly turned around and stalked off to the opposite side of the bath room and stood, glaring at the boy. Willing anyone to speak.Word count= Drum roll please........ 1o39 Tag= sorry { Melany } you have to calm my anger Notes= Well... this was a fun post ;D Music= An entire Glee cd

Just Keep Swimming Ethan motioned in the general direction of Mollie. Something about that name seemed familiar to Melany…but she couldn’t place where she’d heard it before. Everything about this girl seemed familiar, and she had the same birthmark Melany did….but this girl also seemed to be in some sort of denial, and Melany wasn’t one to try to force people into saying things they didn’t want to, or thinking of different possibilities they weren’t open to. “Are you a surfer? Those waves were definitely calling to me, I can tell you that.” Melany couldn’t help but smile a bright smile, she loved to talk about the things she loved to do. “Actually, yeah. I surf. That’s where I was before I came in here. But, I got dragged until a few too many times, so I decided to find someplace safe to wait out the hurricane,” Melany could practically feel her eyes shimmering when she thought of the ocean. The massive waves, the beautiful color of it (even today when it was more of a moldy color), the just pure awesome power of it, Melany knew that her eyes reflected the same color and seemingly calm of the ocean, and she loved that part of her. “They were amazing waves,” Melany smiled again, glad they were talking about something she could easily discuss, “they were huge though, like something I’ve never seen before.”
Melany bit her lip slightly again (a habit she had picked up once she had arrived at Shifter Academy), and thought about the huge waves just barely outside this building.
"You know, Mollie, if you're going to be doing something in a hurricane, watching the Turtles would probably be a better choice than fixing your makeup." Melany was slightly confused by what Ethan had said, and when she looked at Mollie, she seemed to be just as confused. "Ummm, Excuse me? Was that an insult because on the insult scale that really fell flat don't you think?" Reaching for the silver turtle necklace she was wearing, Melany could tell that this wasn’t going in the right direction…and she didn’t like it. She could tell by the body language Mollie was showing that she was extremely ticked, and Melany couldn’t help but slightly back out of her way. "You know Ethan... You’re quite the guy. You try to kill me by telling me something was safe. When I believe you KNEW it wasn't. Then you save this shrimp of a girl. Oh! Then you have the balls to call us twins... when you have no input in any of our lives. You don't know anything.... You know that? You don't know that I was passed around in foster care or that Mel over there was adopted out? No you know nothing of life or how to live it or how to be a decent person. So...if you really want to speak to me make sure it is about something worth while. Or if you are going to ‘insult’ me make sure it is at least a decent one?" Melany was baffled…Mollie had just said that entire speech in practically one breath. And she had walked to the other side of the room after he little speech. She wondered why Mollie was so mad…what she had named off didn’t seem that bad. Ethan probably thought it was the safest place, until that window broke…then the bathroom came to mind or something. She knew she had to calm Mollie down…but something she had said… or that Mel over there was adopted out. A light went off in Melany’s head…how did Mollie know she was adopted? She hadn’t told anyone that, not even mentioned it. Either this girl could read minds…or she knew just a bit too much about Melany. She stepped in between Ethan and Mollie, “Hey, calm down. Okay? This storm has been messing with everyone and getting them in bad moods, I’m sure Ethan,” Melany looked at him to make sure he hadn’t run out or anything, “thought the library was the safest place at the time. But when the window broke, he knew it wasn’t. People aren’t perfect we all make mistakes. And if you really think he wasn’t right in saving me, then why didn’t you just push me under the bookshelf as it was falling? It would have saved you the trouble of getting mad at him for it,” Melany began to get mad, she tried to keep her cool, “And so what? He called us twins, big whoop. We look similar, it’s not like that was a crime or anything, right? And you should really watch who you’re calling an indecent person. You’re the one who’s yelling, not him. He was trying to help you…help us.” Melany felt her mood change, and her voice got a little calmer, and a lot quieter, “And maybe it wasn’t a complete insult…I mean, you even said it was a bad insult. So maybe it wasn’t an insult…I don’t know. All I know is now I just kind of want to-” Melany didn’t get to finish her sentence because just then a GIANT boom of thunder cut off her voice, and a gust of wind made the door fly open, almost hitting Melany. She couldn’t help but shriek a little when it almost hit her. She peered out the door, and saw that every window was broken in the library. Almost every shelf had fallen down, too. She leaned out the door, no one was in the hall way. The only sound was the wind, the rain, and the occasional thump or crash of something falling.
Melany had almost forgotten about the storm before that…surprisingly enough. She had been focusing on the drama unfolding in the bathroom, but now…the reality of the storm hit her. She knew the bathroom wasn’t the safest place to be anymore…no place was.
She dashed across the hall, her bare feet still a little wet almost made her slip, and ran into the library. She grabbed the first chair she saw that looked heavy enough. She dragged it across the hall, it made an unnerving screeeeeech as she dragged it. She pulled it into the bathroom, the wind from the windows still holding the door open. The wind blew her hair back and made her shirt practically be glued to her skin. It sounded like all the demons from Hell were escaping for one last party, it was the most unearthly sound she had ever heard…and she had been through some nasty hurricanes before. She finally got the chair into the bathroom and she set it a little in front of where the end of the door was. She leaned against the door with all of her weight, just so she could shut it. She kept one of her feet pressed against the door, and dragged the chair so it was holding the door shut.
She sighed, sat down directly across from Ethan, and attempted to not look completely scared out of her mind. This wasn’t like any hurricane she’d been through before, none of them had been as bad as this one.
She turned her head to Mollie, still wondering how she had known so much about her, “How did you know I was adopted?”

Ethan could hear Melany talking, could hear his name being said, but he wasn't really focusing on that. His focus was on Mollie, his gaze was steely and his eyes were tight. Fists clenched, he stood, but he knew he would never hit a girl. Anybody else, well, any other gender and he would have.
“You think I know nothing about life?” he challenged. “Foster care is nothing compared to what I went through. Did you have your mom try to kill you as a kid? I bet not. But it wasn't just once, no, for my entire childhood I had to deal with her homicide attempts, had to deal with knowing that my mom didn't want me, her only son at the time. And then when my brother was born--” He laughed, but it was cold and humorless. “And when he was born, I became invisible. At least in foster care you had people paying attention to you, whether it was negative or not.” He tightened his fists, his knuckles were white and his temper was out of his control. He should have tried to calm down, but that was out of the question. He wasn't going to let this girl get away with it. “Believe me, if I had gotten adopted, my life would have been a lot better,” he added. “And it's not like being adopted is a horrible thing. You're talking about it like it's a death sentence.”
He ran his hand through is hair again, but it wasn't out of habit that time, no, it was to try to calm down, but he knew that was impossible. The storm was only making his mood worse. His thoughts and insides were like a vortex, a personal storm of his. Everything was spinning around him, but he knew that if he let it go, he'd find that he was still in the bathroom, still with two girls who looked remarkably similar, instead of dealing with his own personal demons. They threatened to consume him, their faces reminding him of his mom, the red, he saw, her hair, and the sneer, the evil of them, and then there was nothing. The vortex was gone, a void in it's place, substituting the invisibility he had dealt with. But with invisibility was comfort, there was no comfort here though, no ocean to swim in, the storm keeping him from what he truly loved. The stupid storm was ruining everything! If it wasn't there, he'd still be in the library, playing poker on his computer, or probably going surfing, what he wished he could do now. He envied that Melany got to go.
“And if we're talking about how to live life, where does fixing your makeup in a hurricane lie?” he asked, his voice threatening to turn into a yell. He took a deep breath, and slid down to the floor again. “Is that what you want to do for the rest of your life? Put gobs of makeup on in a situation that would probably end your life if you were outside? Great choice. I commend you on your vanity,” he added, feeling finished, confident, though it was nothing compared to other things he'd said before. He hoped it would be enough to beat this Mollie chick though. She was mean, but he could be meaner.
The floor was cold to the touch, ice compared to the heat he was feeling, that heat of anger, of distress. He closed his eyes, willing himself to stay quiet, keep his thoughts to himself. He was having trouble though, so he pulled out a deck of cards from his back pocket, maybe a little solitaire would clear his head. He doubted it though.
He put the cards down as he had done so many times, and said to Melany, in an attempt to ignore Mollie, and make her mad in the process, “Pretty good idea with the chair,” nodding at it. And it was a pretty good idea, he just wasn't sure how long it would last. Not even that bathroom was safe anymore.
His ignoring Mollie didn't last very well, and he turned back to her saying, “And it's not like I tried to kill you or anything. The library was the safest place at that moment, at least until that window broke.” The urge to stick his tongue out at her was huge, like a little kindergarten-er. It'd been years since he'd done that, but he didn't today. Mollie would be able to make fun of him too easily for that.
He pushed her laptop in her general direction, he didn't want her to think he was a thief or anything, and he was tired of having it next to him, something of hers...ew.
All he wanted right now was for the storm to be over, so he could get out of this bathroom and go surfing or go swimming, anything, really. It was putting his nerves on edge, and he didn't like that feeling, that feeling of no confidence, the shaky feeling of, “What might happen?”
His attention kept going back to Mollie, well, this was related to Melany when she asked how Mollie knew that she was adopted. That was a good question, he was surprised that he hadn't thought of it; he wondered if it had been his anger blinding him, or just the thrill of his response to Mollie. Either way, he had been blind to that idea, so now it was all consuming, occupying his thoughts to where he couldn't focus on anything else.
“How do you know that she was adopted?” he asked, echoing Melany. He didn't like the way it sounded, like he couldn't come up with an idea for himself. He hated seeming like he couldn't think on his own, hated it when people assumed he was just some dumb surfer dude.
He really was curious about it though, it was an interesting subject. To him, Mollie didn't seem the type to, he didn't know, to, know how to do anything really smart. So either she was psychic or she was smarter than he thought. He didn't believe in powers like that, so he figured it was the second, which made him itch in anticipation for her response. His mind was twitching, the storm was gone, replaced by a feeling that he couldn't scratch, couldn't get rid of, well, at least until Mollie responded.
Ethan realized that he hadn't done anything with his game of solitaire yet, so he started to play it a little more, getting into it, though it was more so him getting out of Mollie's and Melany's possible sister affairs. He smirked at his game, he was already winning, but turned a little bit of his attention back to the girls. His curiosity was piqued, and he wanted to see how this turned out, however much that sounded really bad in his head. It felt like the stereotype of a soap opera, all they needed now was another sister or something. He shrugged internally. What were the chances of that? He turned back to his game again, and waited eagerly for her response, but he tried to act nonchalant as he started to listen.
