'Why is this period taking so long?!' Emilia thought, the class seemed to be taking forever to be over with and soon, Em would be phasing out every image or sound until the bells rang for the students departure from the last class of the day. This was Em's last class for the day. There just seemed to be something better she could be doing with her time then being in that classroom.
When it came down to it, Emilia needed to be somewhere, anywhere. She could not stand being inside anymore. Being a girl, who was raised in a place like Australia, this seemed normal. She was itching to get outside. Everything seemed out of focus and the sound faded out of her ears. Surprisingly, Emilia was used to this sensation and was not affected by it at all. The dim lights that were in the classroom were not as brilliant as the sunlight that she almost craved.
Something was ticking in her head, counting down to the seconds that she would be released. Her natural clock ticked...3...2...1.... Instantly, everyone slammed their books closed and then shoved everything into their bags. Emilia moved slowly, but somehow was the first one out of the door. It seemed as though things were moving slower then usual. Emilia hated this type of day.
It was cloudy and misty as she walked through the school doors to go outside. She hated it already, already thinking of some other plan to go somewhere inside, that was sheltered from this cloudy and miserable weather. 'Where else is there?' She thought to herself. Following a couple of kids nonchalantly, she past a greenhouse she had never seen before.
The walls made completely from glass, all except the doors and some extras, like solar panels and other goodies like that. Emilia looked at the building suspiciously at first, she felt no vibe from it yet. After looking at the greenhouse and sizing it up, Em entered the building.
Plants lined almost every single shelf and wall of the greenhouse. 'Technically, that's what they are used for?' She thought. Bright green eyes paced and glanced over almost all of the entire collection of plants. This seemed like a good place to relax. Just had to bring or find some sort of chair for the relaxation part.
Em found her favorite flowers, which were lilies, any type. But the looks of the bright orange tiger lilies caught her eyes. She sat her stuff down on the ground and found a sturdy stool to sit on. She gazed at the plants for a period of time, wondering about how it got to be so orange.
Suddenly, there was a noise from the entrance. Looking over Em found someone, or maybe it was her imagination. She couldn't tell just yet. Em wasn't going to put effort into moving, just because she probably didn't know who it was knocking or entering the greenhouse. It didn't bother her what so ever.
