Likes:(at least 10)
- Reading ;; One usually has to do a lot of reading for school anyway, but Makayla actually enjoys it as a past time as well. It's something simple, quiet, and engaging for her. She usually sticks to the non-fiction genre, but secretly she has an addiction to some of the more typical teenage novels.
- Seafood ;; Please do your best to refrain from the cat jokes. Yes, it seems rather cliché, but in all honestly her favorite dishes do include fish. In her defense, it is at least healthier than a lot of other things she could choose to eat.
- Winning ;; What's not to like? Kayla is without a doubt a competitive person, no matter what the area is (academics, sports, etc.). She's always out to prove that she's the best, and she couldn't be happier when she's right.
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Dogs ;; Again, perhaps a cliché given her animal shift, but honestly she doesn't see what there is to like. They're loud, dirty, slobbery, hairy... and they think the world is their bathroom. Why people think they make better pets is beyond her.
- Crowds ;; It somewhat goes along with her loner persona, but being caught in a large crowd always just makes her nervous and uncomfortable. There's too many people to be worried about, and she always just feels something bad might happen...like she'll shift in the middle of it all.
- Being Wrong ;; Kayla is not one to easily admit defeat, even in situations where it's obvious that she was mistaken. Admittedly, it is a superiority issue, but even being wrong about something small makes her feel like a failure. She takes any loss to heart.

...appearance
x x
Celebrity Play By: Shailene Woodley
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
It's pretty simple to explain the basic looks like eye and hair color, weight, clothing, piercings, tattoos, make-up, and other extra things. You also must go into detail about what the animal portion of your character looks like. If you're a snake, great but what kind of snake, what do you look like etc. Both of these are important and must be explained as detailed and as thoroughly as possible[/size]
...history
Parents: Father - Richard Bennett, Mother - Olivia Bennett
Siblings: Elder sister (age 21) - Josephine Bennett
[400 words minimum]
Although it says 400 words, we still need you to be thorough. Family MUST be mentioned along with young childhood and adolescence. This character is, in essense, you, so make sure you are providing yourself with enough background to roleplay them. Keep in mind that shifting is genetic, so somewhere in your family there must be more shifting going on. Also, you must describe the day you shifted for the first time.
...connecting human to animal
[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
Explain why your character shifts into the animal that it does. Why is it this animal and not a different one? Is it your courage? Your adventure seeking personality? Your hawk-like eyes? Tell us about the connection between your human and inner animal. And please don't say "It was their favorite animal growing up." Good resources to understand this better are questions 6 and 7 in the FAQ's.
