Likes:(at least 10)
- Forests-They give her room to run around and work out her anger with nature, instead of just releasing it in public among her peers. Whenever Emilia had gone missing or ran from her house, she was often found playing in the forest behind her house. She views it as a get away place
- Making funny faces-May not have a sense of humor she can use, but when she makes funny faces with her friends, things can get ridiculous
- Meditation-She may be an angry person and can snap at any time but many times, Em will be spotted not counting to ten, but instead meditating
- Sunglasses-Wearing them at random and ridiculous times of the day can often cause questions to rise, Ray-Bans being a favorite of Em’s.
- Vintage clothing-One of the more normal things about Em, she is often seen wearing some form of vintage clothing, and is rarely seen without a ring that is a family heirloom
- Quick-witted & Sharp-Before coming to the academy, she had insulted 3 or 4 teachers at her old school and was placed on her records that she knew or felt she knew more on subject matter then her teachers did. Which was sometimes true, this girl has read many books and even at a young age is ahead of the curve, her family pushes her strongly with this.
- Family & Values- Her family means the world to her, and she is often quick to defend them if she feels necessary. Em holds true to the values she held as a child…like standing up for what you believe in, her family has placed this to be one of her standing values in people she meets and life. She believe if you don’t stand up for what you believe in, you’ll get stepped on
- Hard-workers-If you do your part of the work in the group then you get the respect you deserve from Em, but if you are a lazy bum, you get no where in her book. It’s like a two way street, you work hard, I work hard, we try to get along
- Camping- out under the stars on a summer evening is the best idea and thing to do ever,
- Making S’Mores- While camping, the best food ever invented. Em could live off of s’mores if needed to.
- Hockey-She learned to play ice hockey with her brothers as a kid, and it was put into her lifestyle. She had to toughen up for the sport, but it is also one way her rids herself of aggression. She is a proud hockey fan.
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Being quick tempered- even if she tries to stop herself, Em often blows her lid way to early in a situation, which is why she stays out of most drama and will meditate before she feels she’ll explode with anger
- being the youngest child- it makes her the baby and the most attention is pointed at her, Her brothers are very protective of her and won’t give her an ounce of privacy, which means, no guys go through her house without being either intimidated or questioned at some point in time.
- Bandwagoners-As you may see, many people will hop a sports team fan base because they go to some sort of playoff series or whatnot. Em is quick to get irritated with bandwagoners
- The cold- when the weather gets cold and she starts to shiver, she hates it. Especially being out in the snow, she can walk in it, but finds it often hard to play in the snow
- Cloudy Days-coincides with her dislike of the cold, since most cloudy days are cold and rainy. Em was raised where it was sunny almost all the time so she often doesn’t know what to do when she can’t go outside
- Stress & Anxiety- She hates with a passion, when too much stress is put on one, they may snap and Em is one who definitely is a hard worker, but when too much work piles up, she doesn’t know what to do with it and gets upset and angry.
- Labels- it gets no one anywhere, so why are they made up. It helps nothing, seems pointless
- Strangers invading personal space-Em makes it obvious when she feels uncomfortable
- Jell-o--that’s just weird *shivers*
- Those who are ignorant of what they talk about- explained in my likes J
- The Ocean- she can deal with pools and water, but she can’t deal with the ocean.

Weaknesses: (At least 3)
- Aggressive-will come on a little strong and also won’t back down from her words, once they are said, she isn’t taking them back
- Quick-tempered-Em has a short fuse and could get mad very easily, her animal identity also shows this side of her
- Quick to decide-if she believes something will work for her, then she will instantly decide towards the positive, but most time this doesn’t work
Overall: [400 words minimum]
A fiery temper, and a quick to the draw kind of girl is what Emilia Prescott is. She may come with a lit short fuse and that may be a problem, she is also harsh with her words most of the time. When she opens her mouth, some form of attitude is going to come out, there are rare occasions when this happens. There is no way of hiding the mouth on this girl. Emilia has always been outrageous and outgoing, this was just something usual to her. Until she found out about her animal is when she turned angry. Em is still outrageous and outgoing, but she is a little bit more guarded. As Emilia got older, her wall rose a little bit higher and that’s where she stands now, available to let some in but not all. Only those willing to try. That’s also what type of person Em is, the kind of girl that tries ridiculous hard to go out of the way for her friends that she has amazingly managed to keep. With her temper and attitude, many of her friends have stayed around and she is still shocked. Although Emilia has a lot to overcome with her temper and whatnot, she is still a very optimistic person. When she feels angry or sad, she always thinks about a saying that her parents taught her. When you’re at the bottom of the bottom of a hole, just think, the only way to go from there is up.
Emilia is a very value-oriented type of girl, she will stand up for what she thinks is right, even though it may get her into some trouble. When challenged with work, she will work her hardest to do the best she can. She can often come off as a teacher’s pet or even a loner because of her work ethic. She keeps her life well balanced and has always been that way. When her family is brought down, or even her beliefs, she will fight for what she thinks. Even if this means losing her cool. Em is very often stubborn, this helps with her being a hard worker. Because she would work herself to death on projects and homework alone if she weren’t anymore stubborn.
Em hates what she has become and is hard on herself most of the time. Only because of this does she think that she will fail in what she does. Emilia is a very giving person, and she tries to see the good in everyone. Even though she knows some people just aren’t that good. So Emilia is kind of naïve, but she doesn’t let it get to her
...appearance

Celebrity Play By: Sierra Kusterbeck
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Looking at the mirror is something Emilia does every day but always finds it hard to look at it and not laugh. Her deep mahogany hair color is natural, although she has a few almost white blonde and light brown highlights placed randomly in her hair. The dark and bright contrasting colors of her hair makes her rather light green eyes pop. Her eyes are normally what people see first anyways after they see past her hair. Her hair is also to about the bottom of her shoulder blades and is wavy and messy looking, but is styled that way. You‘ll rarely see her with her hair straight unless there is something important going on. The make-up situation with Em is pretty easy, she wears some light eyeliner and mascara. Waterproof normally. Her smile is often goofy, she will make the most ridiculous faces in the mirror and at people when she wants to.
Emilia‘s body frame is something that she often doesn‘t worry about. Standing at 5‘7 and weighing in at about 140 pounds, she is a healthy weight and is proud that she isn‘t stick thin. Emilia runs a lot and works out on occasion. So she has some muscle tone, but it‘s mostly in her legs.
On Emilia‘s sixteenth birthday, she had been allowed to get her nose pierced and loves it. She doesn‘t have any tattoos only because she isn‘t too sure she wants it. She is also contemplating getting a Monroe piercing. But hasn‘t decided as of now. Scar-wise, Emilia has a thin line on her right calf because when she was younger she fell off her bike and the scar is not what to show of it. She also has a line above her right eyebrow from when she was bitten by a dog when she was a wee little girl. She isn’t really worried about the one towards her eyebrow, but she always hates looking at the scar on her leg.
For clothing, you can always find Emilia wearing some form of vintage clothes, maybe a scarf or something to that effect. Another thing you can often find her wearing is a pair of bright red or black Ray-Bans. She isn’t too much of a girly girl, but she wears band shirts and random ridiculous tee shirts she gets. Her pants are almost always skinny jeans of some form, dark wash, grey or light washed. Some have holes, but not too many. Her shoes are either flip-flops or converse, sometimes she breaks out her brightly colored Osiris’.
When in animal form, obviously she is going to look different, the main color of her wiry but soft fur is a very dark brown, which is almost a black color. Her eyes still are a greenish color, just a tad bit darker. She has several white stripes, one across her chest. Another along her side and back. Her nails change into claws, which are ridiculously sharp, so she has to be careful. When in animal shape, she almost has a permanent scowl on her face, but many times that just because she is angry and always has something of a human occurrence on her mind. Her sharp teeth are pearly white and kept up rather well, well because she's a human, and brushes her teeth.

On March thirtieth, the sun was shining brightly, there was not a cloud in sight. The perfect day for a picnic, in which the Prescott family thought they would be able to take advantage of the lovely weather in Sydney, Australia. But the little girl couldn’t wait any longer, the family went to the hospital and that’s when the last piece of the puzzle was added to the family. Little Emilia Jade Prescott, named after both of her grandmothers. This is oddly enough were she got her shifting gene from. Neither of her parents knew that the grandmother that she was given her first name for was a shifter.
Young Emilia was always very smiley and a very bright young child. She did many things to help her grasp the world even closer to her. She often went to her father’s work and watched the animals and tried to figure out what each was. Jude and Max would often tease little Emmi because she would just stare into the exhibits and wouldn’t talk, but would act like the animal. Her brothers had always been around the alligators, but she had always seemed to be near the Kangaroos, and the Koalas. No one would have expected her one day, to get bored of the cute looking, fluffy animals, no, she wanted something different.
As she grew, she became a hard worker, and would almost work herself to death if she had to, just to make what she was doing great. People sometimes hated her for that, she wasn’t really a teacher’s pet. Emilia was often accused of being one though. She just wanted to know that she could go far in life. When Emilia had turned ten, the Prescotts moved from Australia, which was her father’s home, to go to America. Where her mother’s family was waiting for them. This was when Em finally got to meet her grandmother, who she was named for.
Emilia was instantly loved by her grandmother, it didn’t matter what she did, she was still going to love the little girl of the family. She trusted her grandmother with everything she was, and one day, she was told a story about a little girl, who changed into an animal, and to be specific, it was a giraffe, Em always asked her grandmother who the little girl was but she would always tell her, “Maybe in a few years Emmi, just maybe.” Well, her grandmother had gotten sick, and she was getting weaker and weaker, Em was at the hospital with her every day after school. Her brothers would come every other day with her, but this was her time with Granny.
One day, that she had gone to visit her grandmother, she looked around the room, and her grandmother was smiling, and she was told to go sit on the bed. Em asked to hear her favorite story again. When it was all finished, she asked yet again. Her grandmother gazed into her eyes and smiled. “Why Emmi, I’m the little girl who turns into a giraffe.” Em was confused, but smiled. “Don’t tell a soul, but you may have a great gift ahead of you, make the best of it.” And that’s what she did, her grandmother passed that very night, Em at her side, and she would never forget what she was told.
One day, at her middle school in New York, Em had gotten frustrated. She had let people’s word get to her about the dark circles under her eyes, and why she was always acting like she was better then everyone else. Well one kid took it too far, after school, a snobby girl who was a grade ahead of her followed Em home to torment her. Em balled her hands into fists and turned around, her knees started to buckle and her hands were shaking, she didn't know what was happening but she noticed her tiny frame seemed to get smaller, she didn't understand, but the girl had run away.
Emilia ran home as fast as she could, she thought she heard growling coming from behind her. She ran quicker and quicker, thinking it kept getting closer. Her brothers weren’t home, she thought about it and was terrified. Somehow before she could get to the door, she realized she couldn’t reach the door handle. The growling had stopped. But as she lifted her arm to reach for the door knob, she caught something, it was a black clawed paw. She stared at amazement and also fear at the paw. It was her own.
She had just realized what she had done, Emilia had tried to chase after a snobby little brat from school. Imagining it as if it had happened, she looked at the situation and wondered how she got there. Her once hands, ached and her knees too. Em felt as though her bones had shrank from her human size to these little bones.
'What am I?' she thought, Emilia had no clue. Maybe she could ask one of her family members, maybe they would understand. Remembering that her brothers wouldn't be home because they were going to some sort of concert for a band she had never heard of.
'A CAR!' Instantly, the sound of a motor was heard and she ran for the driveway. Seeing the car, she knew exactly which one of her parents it was. She got excited and almost laughed, but again, it came out like a growl, an odd sounding one at that. Emilia went back to sitting up on the back porch where she knew her father would walk towards. Feeling like some sort of small dog, she sat and waited, she heard the car door close and heard the footsteps.
'Wow, this is crazy, my hearing is that much better.' Thinking in amazement. Emilia saw her father turn towards the porch and he looked down at the stairs and the porch. He stopped almost as instantly as he laid eyes on her. He looked afraid, he was a zookeeper for most of his life, so he would have to know what she is.
He took out his cell phone slowly and kept staring at Em, she tilted her head and was confused. He dialed and got hold of someone. She knew that it was her mother.
"Joanie. I'm sorry, I know you're busy...just hear me out."There was a pause and she could hear her mother's voice through the phone talking to someone else in her doctor's office.
"Alright, well i just got home, and i found something on the back porch. You aren't going to believe what it is." He said this slowly and quietly but Em could still hear him. There was another pause as her mother tried to take guesses and finally gave up with the guessing game of what was on her back porch.
"There is a Tasmanian Devil on our back porch." He said, Emilia lifted a paw and stared down at it. 'How am I...? What...?' She thought, confused, maybe her father didn't know what he was talking about. 'Dad was a zookeeper in Australia though. He can't be wrong.'
An hour or two later, Emilia was back to normal. Somehow, some way she forced herself to be a human again. Her parents were astonished. They had no idea it ran in their genes. Joanie, her mother was especially taken aback because it was from her side but it skipped her. Emilia told her parents the story about her Granny and how she shifted into a giraffe. This brought all understanding to light. She explained to her parents the feelings of changing. That it felt like every single bone in her body was shattering into a million little pieces. That her every movement after that felt like she was pulling muscles that she didn't even know she had Her parents were still scared, scared that she would hurt someone, or someone would hurt her if they ever found out about her shifting. Even her brothers were worried for her.
Emilia was taken from the school and was home schooled for about a year. She didn't like being alone anymore and she missed having her friends, but she didn't want to put them at risk. One day though, she mother talked about a school, for people just like her mother and Emilia. Getting excited with the idea, Em immediately packed her things and was preparing to leave.
...connecting human to animal
[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
When at the zoo, no one knew it, but Emilia had always wished she were able to be an animal. Even though every kid wants to be one, Emilia really wanted to become one. When she finally had stopped looking at the cuter, fluffier animals, she went towards the Tasmanian Devil exhibit. She sat and stared at these little creatures who could produce a terrifying growl. She was amazed at how angry they could get.
Then when she moved to America, she realized something after she had gone to her new school. That she was a small framed girl, who always seemed to be angry with others because of what they would do. Emilia had become vicious with those she disliked because they made fun of her. It was mainly her mindset that linked her to her fated Tasmanian Devil, not anything else. She understood why she was connected to it, it was her anger in other people, her distrust of those who teased her, and she also would never back down from a fight or even an argument. Em also kept her close friends close, and it takes a while for her to get to know people because she knows that people are not always the best like she thinks they are. But Em also that has a rambunctious side and had fun and wasn’t all teeth and scary noises.

It was a bright and clear day in the middle of the summer in Sydney, Australia. The Prescott boys and little girl Emilia were outside at the zoo where their father worked. The children basically had free reign of the zoo and were often questioned why they were all alone and when their father or mother was going to be back. The children had become so acquainted to the zoo, they were almost like tour guides for the tourists that came to visit it.
The smallest child, the little girl, Emilia was always on the run or always watching the animals in their exhibits. Many people watched this little girl just stare into the glass and never broke her silence or even turn her head to observe the people around her. She felt completely safe in her little window to the animal world, and that’s where she would sit in her mind, on the ledge of the windowsill leading to the animal world in front of her.
One day, when little eight year old Emilia was sitting at the Koalas exhibit, her brothers came up to her. Instead of calling her name, they walked behind her and pulled on her ponytail. She instantly whipped out her animal world and was gritting her teeth at her brothers. She stared at them with disapproving eyes.
”Why do you always have to do that?!” she shouted. Everyone turned towards the little girl and was surprised she even had a voice. Her brothers just laughed at her and looked from the exhibit to her.
”Grow up a little and come with us to the crocodile exhibit.” Jude said, his voice passive and trying to calm his sister. Emilia knew he wasn’t the instigator, but that Max was. Sometimes she hated Max, he wasn’t the nicest brother when it came down to it, but she knew that if she needed something he would try. Jude was her favorite brother, just because of how he was. He didn’t act mean and wasn’t always pulling on her hair, or slapping her with toys. Or even taking her toys away. Jude reached a hand down towards her and she grabbed on. She hopped onto his back for a piggy-back ride and smiled the whole walk through the other exhibits to get to the farthest and most popular crocodile exhibit.
Emilia hadn’t been to the crocodile exhibit recently because she was frightened of the huge animals. Her father had always shown her the smaller and more docile animals. Even the Tasmanian Devil was calm most of the time, and their size was just right. She had raised an infant devil in her home when she was just a small child. That was how she got the scar above one of her eyebrows. She smiled and saw that her dad was putting on a show and was feeding the crocodiles huge pieces of meat.
”Daddy!” She shouted and the whole crowd looked over at her, she sat upon her older brother’s shoulder. Her father did not turn until he threw the meat to the animal. He knew that Emilia was patient, unlike her brothers, who would often call “DAD” eight or nine times until he answered. Once he was done with the show and cleaned off and cleaned up, he walked over to his sons and little daughter. Emilia happily lifted her arms to show him that she wanted and hug and he carefully took her off of Jude’s shoulders and swung her around in a giant hug. ”How was your day little one?” Her father’s accent was clearer then day to her and she laughed a little, her accent wasn’t too bad, she would probably grow out of it. Emilia looked thoughtful and was thinking of how her day went.
”Max pulled my hair!” She looked at her father with a pouted lip and he put her down for a second and looked hard to Max.
”Maxwell!” Her father said with force but not anger. ”What have I told you about that?” Her father just sighed as Max had just put down his head and muttered an I’m sorry. Emilia had a hero that was her father. Nothing was going to be able to change that, she was daddy’s little girl and would come to see that her father was an important man in her life.
