...personality
Likes:(at least 10)
- Reading: Being as curious as she is, Adagio loves to read and learn new things. Wherever she goes, she almost always has a book with her, whether it be one on architecture, or a Sherlock Holmes book, she loves to keep one handy just incase she becomes bored.
- Seeds & Fruit: Sunflower seeds, Peaches, you name it and she loves it!! When she lived with her parents, she was known to grow a large quantity of sunflowers just so that she could have home grown seeds to eat, and she always took strict care of her peach trees.
- Music: In her spare time, if she's not reading, Adagio loves playing her violin or singing. She's not particularly good at playing the violin, but her singing abilities are slightly above average. With her grasp of languages, she is able to memorize songs from around the world and sing what she feels without thinking to hard about it.
- Wind: For some reason she has always loved the wind. When she was younger, she often called the wind her friend, and could be seen talking to it and singing for it. Every now and then she can still be heard saying something to the wind, but now she does not do it as much.
- Family: Though she can seem very standoffish to people at times, which is actually kind of against her nature, she has a very tight bond with her family. She loves to take care of her family, and even if she does not always show it, she loves them a lot.
- Going through people's things: It may sounds weird, but she really enjoys going through people's stuff. She would never open anyones stuff to look through it, but if it is already open, she has no problem looking through it. As a rule she never takes anything, well, unless it's her friends belongings, and then she will take something but give it back later.
- Gardening: It is strange she likes to do this since she is not a big fan of manual labour, but gardening is rather calming for her. At further consideration, she believes that she probably likes gardening because she enjoys the food she gets at the end.
- Languages: German, Russian, Italian, French, one day she plans to learn all the languages in the world. Of course, because of her knowledge in languages, she tends to incorporate words from different languages without thinking, but her friends tend to just laugh and shake their heads at her.
- Meeting New People: For some reason, she is almost always in the mood to meet someone new. Though she may come off to some people as being strange, her eccentric behavior tends attracts people closer to her, and she is known to have many acquaintances.
- Cooking: Ever since her Grandmother taught her how, Adagio has always enjoyed creating new and tasty things in the kitchen. Baking is her speciality.
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Extreme Heat: She would much rather be cold than very hot
- Shrill Noises: Though she can ignore them for a small amount of time, she hates shrill noises. That is why if anyone ever sees her taking care of children, if they start fighting and yelling, she will deal with the problem as quickly as she can.
- Math: She has always been bad at math, and that is why she hates it. A couple people made fun of her when she was younger for her inability to do math, and that is why for the most part she refuses to let anyone see her working on her math homework.
- Being Sticky: Whether it be her hands, or skin after being in salt water, she absolutely hates being sticky. She hates it so much actually, that sometimes she will avoid things if she knows she may become sticky.
- Spicy Foods: She can eat them sometimes, but they tend to make her eyes water and her nose run.
- Performing In Public: Though she does like showing off her violin playing and singing in certain areas, for the most part, Adagio finds performing in front of large crowds or in public.
- Getting In Trouble: When she was younger, she got in trouble a lot, and so now if she knows she is doing something wrong, she tries her best to cover her tracks.
- Abstract Art: Some of them can be interesting, but for the most part they look like a bunch of blobs to her.
- Birds That Kick Other Birds Eggs Out Of A Nest: When she still lived with her parents, Adagio had the bad experience of finding two broken eggs on the ground with baby birds already being formed inside. Later, she found out that another bird had kicked the eggs out and killed the babies. She cried for hours after finding this out.
- Boredom: Mostly, she hates boredom because boredom makes her eat a lot. She had some weight issues when she was younger, and now tries her best to stay healthy. She doesn't have an eating disorder though, she just makes sure to eat fresh food that is good for her instead of fast food.
Fears: (At least 3)
- Driving: She has no idea why, but driving makes her have panic attacks
- Being Alone Forever: Just the idea of never finding the right person for herself makes her shiver. It probably has something to do with her father never really being around, but she would never tell anyone that.
- Running Into A Window Or Sliding Glass Door: Sometimes you can't even tell they are there, and there is nothing more embarrassing then running into a glass door or window.
Strengths: (At least 3)
- Languages: She has always been able to pick up languages rather easily, and since she loves languages so much, she chose linguistics to be her major.
- Singing: She would never admit it or even say it out loud, but she considers her singing a strength.
- Gardening: She has always had a green thumb, even though her Mother does not. Whenever she sees her Mother struggling with something in the garden, she tries her best to help.
Weaknesses: (At least 3)
- Slightly OCD: She enjoys having certain rituals, and hates it when those rituals are broken. Also, she enjoys taking things from her friends and giving them back later. True, this is kleptomania, but that falls under OCD.
- Bad Tempered Not all the time of course, but she can have a bad temper. Mostly it is triggered by very stupid people, or people who are rude to her.
- Warm Hearted: Some people may consider that a good trait, but sometimes this trait can get her into trouble. She has been known to forgive those who have done bad things to her like steal her stuff and never give it back, or stomp on her precious plants.
Overall: [400 words minimum]
Adagio has always been rather…… eccentric.
From a young age she was always rather independent, and she has always been curious. Adagio believes in having a broad spectrum of interests to make herself a well rounded person, so she watches Doctor Who, participated in sports when she was younger, and studies for her own pleasure. Of course, like any person, she has her good traits and her bad.
Take for instance her tendency to take objects from other people. She always returns them of course, but she just cannot help herself. From a young age she has always thought it was funny when she would take something from one of her friends and they did not notice that it was gone. Yet the funniest thing about her continuation to do such a thing is that she is actually terrified of kleptomaniacs. Any time she has to share a room with someone that she does not know, she is afraid that they will take her stuff from her and never give it back.
Overall, Adagio always tries her best to take care of her friends and family. Even though she may have to give up something she likes, she is almost always willing to give it up for her family. Of course, her freedom is not something she would be willing to give up, but anything tangible, like her belongings, she would be willing to give them up if it would help her family or friends. That being said, at times she can be stingy, and she tends to hide certain things from people with the though that ‘if they don’t know about it then they will not want it’. She knows it’s stupid, but she continues to do it anyways.
If there was anyone easier to talk with, Adagio has never met him or her. Sometimes she hates that fact, but other times it can come in handy. Her easy use of language helps her to manipulate situations at times, and she has been able to get out of a lot of bad situations simply by using inflection. At other times, this ability is bad because her friends tend to cry on her shoulder and ask her for help if something bad happened. She has no real problem with that, it’s just that she can’t stand seeing people cry since it makes her feel awkward.
Mostly though, she’s just a normal girl who enjoys cooking, hanging out with her friends and family, and not being bored. After all, life is short, and she wants to live it to the fullest.

Human
At five foot five inches, Adagio could be considered kind of short for her age. Of course, she has no problem with being short, but at times it would be easier for her if she were a bit taller. As for fashion sense, her fashion is as eclectic as her personality. One day she could be wearing a sundress, the next a business suit. Her style is ever changing, though she mostly keeps to either professional or comfortable, so her closet is filled with all different types of things. Since her style is ever changing, so is her hair. Though she refuses to cut it short, she does keep it in different styles and makes sure to keep it out of her face when she can. Sadly, she usually ends up putting her hair into a ponytail when she is not really paying attention, which tends to defeat the point of her even styling her hair in the morning. Moving from her hair to her skin, Adagio only has two tattoos. Technically she is not supposed to have any since she is underage, but because her mother is so awesome, she let her get some early. On her left ankle she has a tattoo of a treble clef and a bass clef coming together to form a heart, and on her right ankle she has the seal of Rassilon. The left ankle tattoo is an identical one to her Mothers; they got them at the same time, while the right one is from her favorite shows, Doctor Who. Most people do not notice her tattoos unless they are looking very hard for them since they are on the inside of her ankles where very few people can see them. As for piercing, she has one in each earlobe, but rarely ever wears earrings since she is allergic to certain types of metals in her ears.
Animal
Adagio actually considers her animal form to be quite beautiful. Her form animal is called Hildebrandt's Starling, and is quite a colorful bird. With an orange chest, black head feathers that turn from purple to blue as they go lower, and red eyes, she is a sight to behold! Unlike a large majority of other birds, she is very distinctive, and she likes it that way. The only problem is that if she is not careful she can become prey for bigger predator birds and that would not be a good situation.

...history
Parents:Marie Beckett..Mother..Wolf
James Blanch..Father
Siblings: None
[400 words minimum]
Adagio was born to Marie Beckett and James Blanch, an unmarried couple that had been dating for a couple of years. However, even after the birth of their daughter they never got married, in fact, they split apart for the most part after their baby was born.
Adagio grew up rather normally living with her Mother and visiting her Father every other weekend, and for the most part she was content. When she was alone and her Mother was at work, she would busy herself reading and singing, and if any other kids were around she would try to play with them when her temper aloud her to. If she was is a bad mood, she would not even bother going outside, and would instead say inside and find something to keep herself entertained. Soon, she found enjoyment in learning languages, and was seen frequently at the local library with huge stacks of books all around her.
As she grew older, her Mother began to explain to her how she might one day begin to shift just like her Mother did. Of course, she grew up knowing that not everyone could shift, but she never suspected that she might be able to shift as well. When her twelfth birthday came around, she waited eagerly to see if anything would happen, and was sorely disappointed for the first two weeks after her birthday. On the third week, on Friday the thirteenth, she was outside dealing with her garden when she saw a couple of animals trying to destroy her garden, she got so frustrated and felt an extreme pain. She could not remember a lot what happened afterwards, but she found out later on that she drove the animals off and had accidentally killed one of them. She felt kind of bad, but soon got over it because she had grasped the idea of the circle of life earlier in her own life.
After that, her life was never the same.
Though she had never been able to keep very close friends, she had a good amount of people that she knew that she would have to say goodbye to, and that made her upset. Her excuse was that she was going to a boarding school for students who were mentally talented, and that the only reason she got in was because they chose people by a lottery system. Her friends and the people she knew accepted this and congratulated her profusely.
...connecting human to animal
[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
One of the main reasons she turns into what she does is because of her personality. Like her shift, she tends to take stuff without asking, and she also really enjoys seeds and fruits. Of course, this could also represent another animal, but what really kept her from being something else was her intelligence and temperament. Her intelligence factors in because Hildebrandt's Starling has a trait that it picks up different sounds and uses it in its own call. Just like the starling, Adagio tends to pick up words from different languages and use them without thinking when she talks. As for temperament, like the starling she can be both nice and fierce when the mood hits her.

The weather was down right frigid, and Tsura found herself reveling in the cold.
There was a reason she was a Siberian Husky in her animagus form, and that was because she was simply a lover of colder climates. Sure, she did not mind a warm spring day or a slightly blustery fall evening, but the cold is where she excelled.
Summer time was her lazy time. She found it hard to think correctly in the heat, and she had been told once or twice by her colleagues that she was a lot more lenient and personable in the warm weather. Yet, during the colder winter and even fall months, she became more prone to bouts of strange mood swings and her thought process quickened.
The windows were wide open letting in the frigid air as Tsura paced from one side of her office to the other thinking and writing down things on her little notepad. She was dressed in her favorite old fashioned three piece suit, and she looked quite prestigious with her hair in a french braid. Upon her coat rack was a flowing professors robe which, contrary to popular belief, was warm enough to be kept open even during the first snow of winter, and a brightly knitted scarf was crumpled unceremoniously in her extra arm chair.
"Was ist das? Eh! Was ist das? Nein, nein!"
Quickly making her way over to a stack of books strewed upon her desk clumsily, Tsura flipped through a rather tattered powder blue covered one before taking a few notes and making her way back over towards the window. There, she scribbled down a few sentences angrily before looking the whole manuscript over for a moment and flared her nostrils.
At twenty-five years old, she had turned another year older without much event, she seemed to be rather popular with other Transfiguration Professors. With her publication of her newest paper on the animagus form and how it affects a person mentally, a paper that she had actually just strewn together as a finals paper, Tsura became someone that a lot of people thought it apt to send letters to. If she remembered correctly, she even had an envelope containing a letter from the Ministry somewhere safely locked away in her desk.
"That's all the mongrel is getting from me. I don't even like Jefferson and he thinks he can just up and ask me to take time out of my busy life to help him gather some data."
After a moments thought, Tsura took her wand out of her pocket and muttered a light spell before smiling mischievously and placing the letter inside an envelope. Horus looked at her strangely for a moment before outstretching his leg lazily and giving a light chirp. After giving the bird a treat, Tsura tied the letter to his leg and watched as he soared out the window.
With that done, Tsura stood at her window grasping her hands clasped behind her back as she thought. She had a terrible feeling that something bad was about to happen, but she pushed the feeling to the back of her mind. So far everything had been going well for her, even the ballet recital, and life was good. For now, she hoped to center her mind on the better things in life and not on the forboding that she was experiencing.
