[Felix Sbarge]

Name: Felix Wellington Sbarge
Grade/Age: Grade 11/17 years
Why You Are Applying: Because Felix loves to edit and all newspapers need an editor or two (I know my real school does) and he's good at nit-picking writing. He's a hard working, willing to figure out a way to get through a challenge instead of passed it. Believe it or not, Felix has quite the good advice, especially on relationships. It just takes some encouragement to get it out of him sometimes. But that's what working with others is for. And he needs a more commonplace release for his creative being and sense of fashion.
Are You A Team Player: For the most part, he works well with others, so long as they give him space and time to do his share. He's not much of a leader, but will do whatever is assigned him with little outward complaint. He's also a good mediator, a lover of personal problem/argument solving.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Perhaps not the first week or so or when I have Band Camp, but otherwise my summer is open and I'm good at managing homework during school times, so I'd say yes, just don't make me do all the huge main articles. I wouldn't have the patience. XD

Name: Jessi Cooper
Grade/Age: 11/16
Why You Are Applying: Jessi enjoys writing as well as learning about the world around her and sharing what she discovers with others. She has an eye for editing (she was an editor for the literary magazine until it was canceled this year due to lack of submissions) and a talent for writing to inform, entertain, and persuade. She is a determined worker, who will accept nothing less than perfection.
Are You A Team Player: Jessi works well with most personality types but will sometimes have an urge to take charge if she sees anything that does not live up to her high standards. Still, she always listens to and considers the opinions of her peers before ever taking a crucial step. She rarely complains.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Definitely! I have few outside obligations, and all of them have negotiable times that can be easily rescheduled. During the school year I handle my homework well enough to have ample time for extracurricular activity. I have the patience and the determination to make the newspaper a success.

[Skii Rose Reeve]

Name:Skii Rose Reeve
Grade/Age: 9/ almost 15
Why You Are Applying: Skii is an avid writer she is never found with out her notebook in hand. She will love having this as a way to put her writing out there for others to read. Skii would love to write about theater or any other major for her fellow students.
Are You A Team Player: Skii has to be a team player. She has been in many productions were she believes her chorus is just as important as the lead. Other wise her shows would have not been as they were.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Skii is always here at the shifter academy looking for anything to do. She will of course be active on the newspaper. This was made for her.

[Karter Orcabi]

Name: Karter Orcabi
Grade/Age: 12/18
Why You Are Applying: Karter is an extremely goal oriented person who likes to work and show what he can do. Since there are no classes in the summer, he thought this would be a great opportunity to occupy his time as well as create amazing stories and articles. Stuff he likes to do.
Are You A Team Player: Absolutely. Karter can work alone or as a team and he thinks this is perfect since there will be a bit of both.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Sure will! All of his stuff will be in on time, so no worries there

[Lykaios Minsi]

Name: Lykaios Two Socks Minsi
Grade/Age:10/16
Why You Are Applying: This girl is an avid writer, and enjoys taking on new challenges. She likes to be active in school activities as much as she can. Lykaios would love to write about whatever is happening around Shifter Academy, and write about any gossip or activities that the students should know. She is very motivated and is a determined worker.
Are You A Team Player: Lykaios is very much a team player. Just tell her what to do, and you'll be sure she gets her part done.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Lykaios has always been an active participant at school. This is one of her favorite things to do, and she wouldn't miss being here for anything. Lykaios won't rest until she finishes that assignment!

[Sultan Zaafir]

Name: Sultan Zaafir
Grade/Age: 12 / 18
Why You Are Applying: Sultan is very intellectual deep down, though he barely shows it. He likes writing and though it's not his major, he considers himself a linguist- speaking both Turkish and English. He'd love to use this to get more friends, possibly those with the same interest as him. He gets bored with just himself easily, and a bit of pressure makes him get better and better at things he does. It's not hard to get him to finish things hours and days before others ,because when he has a project he doesn't stall like most people his age.
Are You A Team Player: Definitely. Sultan would take it in stride to work with others and share stories, maybe make friends and acquaintances. It not hard to get him talking, and once you're his friend he's loyal to the end- so he would most definitely be loyal to the paper and his team. He'd take it upon himself to take charge to get things done if people are going slow or not meeting their deadlines in time, but not in a 'dictatorish' way.
Will You Be An Active Participant?: Sultan has very, very few things to do- hence the having no friends thing. He writes on his own anyway, so he'd never miss a deadline and always have something to do.

I myself have nothing to do during summer except for a few hours a day in August, so I'd be able to keep him active in the paper and his posts.
