Gender: Male
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
Birth date: April 3rd
Program: Bachelor of Science
Major: Medicine
Major Explanation: It’s an interesting subject, the truth is he could always see himself as a doctor, believe it or not. He doesn’t really have the motive for helping people. It’s more of the gory details which interest him. He would like to branch off into surgeries or emergency room relations.
Animal Identity: Saltwater Crocodile
...personality
Likes:(at least 10)
- Water:
[/li][li]Napping: You could call it laziness, occasionally. He likes napping and sleeping about, mostly in the sun though and during the daytime.
[/li][li]Arguments: Caleb has a conflict spark in him. He’s pretty sure he likes disagreeing more than agreeing with most, even when he’s wrong.
[/li][li]Meat/Food: He will eat anything. Anything. As long as it has a bit of meat on it, he’ll try it.
[/li][li]Quietness: Calm and serene environments are far more relaxing for Caleb. It really ties into him not enjoying the company of others. He’s probably shushed more people than he even knows.
[/li][li]Spring: The typical Winter weather isn’t very favorable, he enjoys when everything is fresh and blossoming.
[/li][li]Storms: Who doesn’t like a good storm? The lightning and thunder is exciting to almost anyone, in his opinion.
[/li][li]Broken -in- bed: The feeling that someone was just in your bed, or when someone is still in your bed when your getting under the covers.
[/li][li]Honesty: It’s not that hard. He’d say the most blunt truth if someone asked. “Yes, I did just take a bit out of your hamburger and put it back.” Simple.
[/li][li]Clothing variety: Jeans and a t-shirt are irritating. He likes seeing something a bit new and wearing something a bit new. Although, he takes it subtle. Chains and leather not a llowed.
[/li][/ul]
Dislikes: (at least 10)
- Music: It’s a loud racket. No questions about it.
- Stubborn beings: Caleb can get far too stubborn to be able to deal with other stubborn people or things.
- Repetitive sounds:
[/li][li]Crowds: Too loud, too many people and too much conflict.
[/li][li]Small fuzzy anything’s: Their repulsive. Cute isn’t a pro when dealing with anything for him.
[/li][li]Rejection: Caleb can admit it. It stings, it’s unpleasant. Getting over it is the respectable task.
[/li][li]Containment: Everyone likes freedom, he likes deciding for himself and making his own choices
[/li][li]Sugary sweets: Their not his cup of tea. He enjoys foods or anything entering his stomach that is filling.
[/li][li]Ignorance: It isn’t bliss. It’s stupidity.
[/li][li]Snow: It’s too cold, it ruins the environment and hardens the water. Bleh.
[/li][/ul]
Fears: (At least 3)
- Crazed hunters:
[/li][li]Little people: Their abnormal and freak him out. A little person would literally make him run if he saw one, well if they chased him. Otherwise he’d keep an eye on it until he could leave. It isn’t rude; he just has a fear of them.
[/li][li]Emotional stress: He keeps from being too attached to avoid any real pain he might feel from friends or rejection. It’s not like he acts as a robot, he just avoids being in groups or having serious relationships to avoid that fear. Somewhat common, right?
[/li][/ul]
Strengths: (At least 3)
- Confidence:
[/li][li]Realistic: Caleb is probably one of the least likely guys to sugar coat something. He tells it how it is, whether you like it or not.
[/li][li]Determined: Once he set out to do it, or discover it, he’ll keep going. The only reason his determination would fail was if it was a ridiculous matter or point he was trying to prove.
[/li][/ul]
Weaknesses: (At least 3)
- Short tempered:
[/li][li]Curious: He wants to know why when and where. If he doesn’t or if he over hears something, he is bound to try and work things out.
[/li][li]Bad attitude: The most general but honest statement about Caleb. He’s just sour, sometimes pessimistic. Not easy to befriend.
[/li][/ul]
Overall: [400 words minimum]
The Jerk. This is fifty percent of Caleb’s attitude. He doesn’t go out, looking for a fight and he certainly doesn’t waste his time discovering new ways to piss people off. He just likes being left alone; with a few key people he might call friends. Other than that, leave him alone. He may come off as miserable to some. A little bit of an attitude. Things easily annoy him, and if someone is close to him, talking loudly on the phone or if they reek of an unknown putrid smell, you better believe he’s going to say something. You may be thinking he doesn’t need to say it in rude terms, but the thoughts flow freely out of his mouth. Luckily, he isn’t one to taunt and he doesn’t randomly attack other’s with criticism or sarcasm. Being a bully isn’t the goal, it’s just to make his surroundings as calm as possible and if that isn’t possible, he’ll find a way.
The Loner. Most people enjoy a few moments to themselves. Caleb is exactly like that; because the few moments of being alone are preferred in long strides. Let’s face it, people are annoying. Their ignorant, rude, obnoxious, and take things to extremes most of the time. Someone who speaks in an extremely soft voice and barely says anything annoys him. Someone who speaks obnoxiously loud with a hearty laugh annoys him. He’d rather be alone. He doesn’t get into fights with himself, therefore, he loves himself. Now, this doesn’t mean he tells everyone that crosses his path to fuck off and it doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what a friend is. He just limits his friends to true friends. Those who do not annoy him, those he can with stand and those he can forget about their faults and enjoy their friendship. It’s actually good; Caleb wouldn’t have a fake friend. He wouldn’t be two faced. He’s honest.
The Nice Guy. Yes, of course there lives one within just about everyone. He has a nice side, like most humans. Caleb can very well be generous and actually care for another. Once he gets past silently scrutinizing or figuring out why he doesn’t like a person, he may have that friendship trial. To his friends, he’s kind. He can joke around, have a good laugh. He is quite the gentleman when he chooses to be. It’s there alright, that nice guy is deep within him, you just have to dig a little harder to get to it.
The Genius. A genius, slight over statement. But, he is quite bright. Caleb can catch on easy enough. He’s book smart, some street smart. They even each other out. He finds himself being something great in the future. He couldn’t deal with a career in business, because he couldn’t deal with working himself to the top. He would be sure to call someone higher than him an idiot under breath or something of the sort and that would be that. Studying medicine seemed like the right choice. He would prove himself and it should turn out perfect. In school, his grades are pretty good, something to be proud of from a parent. Almost all A’s, of course the one or two B’s. He assumes his grades and academic records can make up for his sour attitude.
...appearance

Celebrity Play By: Penn Badgley
Appearance: [400 words minimum]
Human.
Starting at the top of his body, Caleb’s hair is a charcoal black. He likes keeping a clean cut and therefore would never let his hair grow long enough to begin to droop down. It’s occasionally touched up a bit, styled and what not. Nothing like piercing hard spikes, sticky hair isn’t his preference. It doesn’t grow that fast either but is rather thick. He’s hesitant on cutting it too short, a natural insecurity and silly fear of it never growing back the same way. Farther down, his eyes are a general brown. Not too light, not too dark, average. His nose isn’t too wide, more pointed though and his lips can be quite pale at times, a natural pale pink. There a little thick but fit with his distinct jaw line. Caleb’s teeth are straight and pretty white. He had braces at a younger age, but his teeth are a little bit large. Some people have large teeth and other’s small, he fits into the large category. They used to be a little bit spaced out but all is normal now. At times he may not shave, leave a little trimmed scruff on the cutting jaw line he has. Despite the occasional scruff, he never has anything on his upper lip, no 5 ‘ o clock shadow there and no mustache. Farther south, we have his neck. It’s a little thick, not bulbous, just thick. He’s had close friends joke it’s because he needs something strong to keep his big head up. That’s fine with him. He accepts it. As for skin clarity, he has his moments. He’s never been one to battle that horrible acne war, but he has his blemishes and moments where he’d rather avoid going into too much of a public area.
Now his body build.. As most guys have it, they have a growth spurt, maybe a few and then just stop, well hopefully stop. Caleb has officially grown all he’s going to. He stands at a comfortable 6 feet even. To most that’s identified as tall or average for a man, of course he’s encountered many who were taller than him. He’s enjoys his height though, it’s nothing extreme. As for his skin tone, it’s quite pale, like his lips. He’s the type of guy who has to lather on the sun screen when he wants to enjoy the outdoors. Tanning isn’t an option, he just burns. Caleb has had his share of nasty beet red sunburns over his body, he’s taken to precautions. But the pale skin does give him a slightly brooding appearance, mostly near his eyes. Dark circles he may have, not usually though, it’s usually in the winter when he hasn’t had any sun contact. Caleb’s skin is also quite rough. It’s never really soft, his hands feel worked as does most areas of his skin. He’s tried the usual dry skin creams but nothing really keeps his skin soft or at least not as rough so he just forgets about it. It’s his skin anyways and he could just give an excuse of masculinity for the rough patches. Muscle build is quite average for someone at his height as well. He would call himself fit, broad shoulders and thick. His muscle definition is most notable in his calves, pelvis and somewhat upper arms. He’s not even close to being beefy or extremely muscular. He just has enough to give him those nice definitions and the rest of him falls into place as toned.
In apparel, Caleb likes to keep up with men’s fashion. He doesn’t think this is feminine to say the least. It isn’t about wearing the newest fashions, just about being aware of them. He enjoys diversity in his clothes. V-neck shirts, t-shirts, vests, blazers, ties, suits, scarves, hats, skinny jeans, glasses, shredded jeans, boots, sneakers, sandals, rings and more. It’s all in his wardrobe. He could mix and match a few things so it would take a while for him to repeat an outfit. He’s just one of those guys who enjoys looking presentable, not as a slob or a carefree bum. You don’t need a lot of money or a ton of clothes, just a style and attitude. Caleb does enjoy what he wears, he wouldn’t wear a new trend if it looked horribly ridiculous. Window-shade glasses? He’d never even touch them. He doesn’t aim to stand out either, his clothes aren’t all brightly colored either, they blend in naturally. He can blend in pretty easily too unless he was standing in a crowd of teenage boys with bowl cuts, dirty jeans and oversized t-shirt’s. Then he’d stick out a bit.
Crocodile.
When Caleb shifts, he shifts into a Saltwater Crocodile. Physically, he has a long muzzle/mouth that extends a little short of a forearm length. His head is large and his jaw is a heavy set. Within his mouth are sharp spaced teeth and a pale pink mouth interior. His eye color turns to a sickeningly pale green with a black slit in the middle. Along his eyes are bumps and ridges that run down toward his snout. On the exterior, Caleb’s skin becomes extremely thick, scaly and rough. His underbelly is smooth, the scales slightly rectangular and white while the skin on his upper body is a dark greenish black. When in the water he of course appears to be entirely dark but after basking in the sun and drying, the dark scales lighten a little bit and appear a little ashy in texture.
His long thick tail is more of his entire length, down the length of his body is black stripes and spots; giving off a pattern. Caleb’s weight develops into 2098 lbs and his length into 17.8 ft after shifting. He isn’t the largest of Saltwater Crocodiles as males can extend over 20 ft and 2,900 lbs but he is one of the larger. As for legs and arms, his are the average short length for this species of crocodiles. Down his arms and legs where his ‘claws’ are, the tips are very sharp to help him move along. At a head on view, it appears that the scales on his back are spikes sticking up. When Caleb is alone and shifted, he enjoys getting his entire body dry and then dipping into nearby water. His mouth is almost always open, showing off his teeth and large mouth. It’s his usual stance. His long tail is almost always curved in the middle and he is very aware of his surroundings.
...history
Parents: Travis Hanson and Samantha Hanson.
Siblings: Chloe Hanson [15]
[400 words minimum]
On April 3rd, Caleb became the first child of Travis and Samantha Hanson. He was born in Boston, where both of his parents lived and grew up as well. It was a city, a good speed he would come to enjoy. But a few years later the last and second child of the family would be born, Chloe. Caleb enjoyed his sister; he was protective of her, even from the start. He must have been about three when she was born. And curious as ever, he’d watch everything she did. But that aside, his family was basically normal growing up. They lived in the same apartment, in the same neighborhood. So to speak, the neighborhood was a bit wealthy. His parents weren’t necessarily dripping in money, but they were well off. They spoiled their son a little bit, most parents in the neighborhood did and they weren’t much for being out of the ordinary.
Growing up he was well behaved. He didn’t color on the walls or upset the baby sitter and he didn’t wrestle with his sister. He kept to himself, until something caught his curiosity. And what didn’t catch a young child’s curiosity? That’s when he would get in trouble. He wandered down the street by himself, or ventured too close to the neighbor’s dog and was bit. His parents encouraged him in piano lessons, which he can now play pretty well off. It isn’t a natural talent though and certainly nothing he enjoys greatly. He did however enjoy swimming. His parents would bring his sister and him to the beach in the summer, the water fascinated him. Personally, he liked rivers a bit more or swimming pools. Waves from the ocean were fun and all but at times he liked the stillness of the water.
As for friends and friendships, he had three good childhood friends. They were all boys, from the neighborhood. They took the same piano lessons from the same instructor. All four boys dipped into the same sports, discovering they didn’t really enjoy many of them. Each had their own personality and their preference, none were alike but they were who Caleb strangely related to the most. Everyone else he pushed out. If he had good friends, why would he need anyone else? That was his mind set from a young age. It was naïve but it continued on for some time.
When he neared the age of eight though, his parents started telling him stories before he went to bed, about their own family, his father’s side specifically. They spoke of a human shifting into an animal, silly stories. But it was always the same and he enjoyed them. They told his sister the same ones too when she turned eight. But, a few months after the stories first came about; he had made a comment to his parents, asking them to tell him a real story about their family. That’s when they told him the stories were real. Well, what’s an eight year old to do when his family tells him that he’s going to change into an animal someday? Usually, they would believe it and tell all their friends. He, however, doubted that. And Caleb hadn’t told a soul. But over the next few years, until he turned twelve, they assured him and answered questions he asked. He learned to except it and expect it. He learned of a school he would need to attend and waited anxiously for when he would turn thirteen. Although some days he expected his parent’s to confess that they were just joking. As he waited, he distanced himself from his friends slightly. He wouldn’t be dramatic and cut them off forever, but when he would have to leave, he of course wanted to be prepared.
And when he was thirteen, that day came. His parents were prepared though. They figured the day was nearing but they didn’t know which day for certain. It was right after dinner, he was going upstairs to shower, his sister doing her homework in her room and his parents going to their own room as well. Caleb had closed the door behind him, accidentally taking his sister’s white cat as a prisoner inside the bathroom. He had taken off his shirt as the water was running when a deep pain in his stomach made him double over. It passed in a second as he started to stand upright again, and then in a series of blinks, it felt as if every single bone in his body was breaking and rebuilding, shifting about. The pain was immense, was this it, was it happening to him? His mind went blank as his height decreased and sunk to the floor. His arms began to shrink closer to his body. It felt like his face was protruding into a long muzzle/mouth and teeth grew and ripped at his gums. He felt a pain in his lower back he’d never experienced before, as some feet long, a tail protruded. It wasn’t even minutes later until he was looking up, close to the ground. He tried to get up but of course it just didn’t work that way anymore. When he turned his head back, he saw it. There he was, this was real, his parents were right. He was a crocodile.
He turned back forward, trying to glimpse into the floor length mirror within the bathroom. After studying himself for a few good minutes he heard a loud hiss and a warning meow. His sister’s cat, fur on end standing against the corner of the door, hissing at him. He opened his mouth, giving a hissy grunt. It didn’t take a second for the instinct to kick in. He wanted to feel the fur pass his teeth and fill the empty space in his belly. With a few snatching attempts, the cat went limp in the pressure of his jaw. He was starting to pass it down and had most of it eaten when the chilling sensations came over him once more. In a matter of another series of seconds he was back in his thirteen year old body and screamed for his parents. They entered the bathroom and there he was. Cat blood on the floor and his face, as well as a bit of white fur on his lips.
After that day, everything his parents said would happen did. He prepared himself, saying goodbye to his friends and off he went to this special school for others like him. When he arrived, he thought the school was alright. Of course it was a burst of something new. He could discover things here. It keeps him interested but his motives are the same as well as his attitude and his sense of friendships. He finds himself observing, even years later.
...connecting human to animal
[One Paragraph Minimum (Can be point form)]
Independence: He enjoys being alone and rarely having any company. Like a crocodile, he doesn’t need other’s around him. Crocodiles tend to fight with other males for their territory, Caleb will assure he’s on his own when he wants to be.
Attitude: Caleb has the same stereotypical attitude as a crocodile. He naturally ‘snaps’ at others who get too close, annoy him or influence his life in a negative manner. He has no problem asserting himself and starting an altercation to make things better off for himself.
Laziness: As a crocodile floats in the water and basks in the sun occasionally, Caleb has those days. In fact, he has those moments every day. He should enjoy himself and finds it amusing to be by himself, collecting his thoughts and laying about. It keeps him sane.
Water: Caleb likes being in the water, more than the average but he isn’t a fanatic with it. He likes bobbing and relaxing in it. Although it is the one competitive sport he’ll partake in, he’s not that good, he just enjoys the feeling.
Food: Caleb could eat just about anything. He’ll try strange concoctions just to see how they taste, and usually their not that bad. Like Croc’s he’d go for anything he can catch.
Physical Appearance: Caleb has a few minor similarities between his shifted form and himself. He has extremely rough skin, like that of a crocodile’s, his head is larger (in a metaphorical sense as well as literal) than the average, and his teeth were once a little gapped and spaced out. His skin tone is very pale, like the underside of a crocodile’s belly and his hair is dark like that of the back skin of a crocodile.

A feisty seagull fought with another not too far away from where Caleb lay. The ocean waves weren’t too pleased on this Saturday afternoon, loud and crashing about. The sky was a dull dark gray, as if something was stirring about miles off the coast. The wind was blowing about as well, a little too fiercely. Yes, there definitely shouldn’t be any beach goers planning to swim or get a tan today. The only people he could see wasting their time out at the beach today, would be the individuals like himself, who looked for solitude or surfers looking to catch a wave. How pleasant would that be? A nice loud storm. He wouldn’t mind walking back in the rain. It might be a bit of a task and difficulty but a cool shower he would enjoy.
Caleb dug his hands under the cold sand, it was loose because he was higher up on the beach, away from the incoming tide. His pale body stuck out a little bit against the sand, but the pink board shorts he wore probably didn’t help. His goal wasn’t to get a tan though. It was just to lay there, in thought with his sunglasses shielding his eyes; from nothing in particular. When his hands were in the cold sand, it was one of the few times his skin began to feel soft. He rubbed each grain between his fingers, his mind trying to process what sort of items might be buried and forgotten underneath the sand on this beach.
One of the seagulls screeched even louder as he chased his companion up the beach toward Caleb for a scrap of food. Caleb’s eyebrows burrowed and his features turned into an annoyed frown. So easily annoyed he is. Shame. He leaned up on his elbows slightly, looking at the two seagulls immediately, now of course he knew his disapproving scowl wouldn’t work with seagulls. They couldn’t understand his facial expression. He reached over and grabbed one of the larger rocks people used to hold down a beach blanket, throwing his arm back and then forward to launch the fist sized rock at the seagulls.
As the rock hit one of the seagull’s wings, he laid back down to his towel. In the distance of his mind he could hear the two birds scrambling and squawking off to the far end of the beach to search for more, or possibly to intrude on a few tidal pools. The frown had disintegrated from his face as he went back to collecting his thoughts…
A rain drop hit the center of his left cheek. He snapped awake. Caleb must have fallen asleep. He opened his eyes and took off his sunglasses. It was slightly darker out, but not because of the nearing night. The storm. It was here, the clouds now a dark purple and a rumbling thunder in the distance. Brilliant. He enjoyed the view as another crack of thunder was heard above head and almost immediately following, a shower of fat thick drops. It was absolutely pouring out rain; he stood up slowly to collect his towel, folding it over his right arm and slipping on his shoes. When he returned to his room he would be wet and sandy. That was fine with him.
Caleb began walking a good pace back to the dormitories. He was passing a bushy area of trees and plants, the rain making a magnificent sound effect against the large green leaves. He enjoyed his surroundings as something rattled behind a large leafed bush. Slowing his pace as he neared it and narrowed his eyes suspiciously. The dark haired senior cleared his throat loudly, expecting something to dart out. And on this island, it could literally be anything.
