Loki smiled as he listened to her describe what it was like being a cheetah. It sounded amazing and like lots of fun. He smiled and then cringed tensing as her hands tightened at the back of his neck. He let out sigh as she slowly released the tight grip she had had and as he looked down at her he forgot about the pain and whispered "its okay as long as you feel safe." he understood right when he saw the smile that had a small apology placed on her lips. He smiled at her as she played with his hair so gently.
He spaced out for a moment imagining the two of them together, they had a lot in common and both feared some of the same stuff. He laughed aloud when he imagined the two of them in their cat forms. Her in her beautiful, sleek, fast cheetah form.Then him in his small but strong lynx form. He smiled at the though of them playing around the way cats do when they like each other or are flirting. He didn't dare to imagine the two of them racing he knew hands down who would win that. Summers cheetah no questions asked would win, Loki knew for a fact that no cat was faster then the cheetah, No way no how.
Loki then snapped back to reality and right when she kissed him on the cheek. His jaw dropped partially and he blushed a light red. He knew she could see his reaction to the small kiss, So he reacted by taking her hand in his and walking over to the couches with out tripping or anything like that.
Looking over his shoulder almost the whole time to see that she was still there made him happy, he wasn't sure why but he liked it.
Then out of no where a ridiculously loud thunder cracked in the sky. Immediately Loki Grabbed Summer quickly pulling her in close to him and looked around and noticed it felt as if the thunder had shaken the whole building. Loki then started to feel kind of bad for possibly startling her like that. He took his free hand and rubbed the back of his neck as his right arm had wrapped around her so quickly. Loki sighed relaxing, remembering that Summer was there with him. He Slowly sat down on the couch behind him and pulled her down gently to sit with him. Although he wasn't sure whether she was going to land on his lap or the seat next to him.

When Summers felt Vince pull away from their hug, she frowned slightly. That is until he took he hand and led her to one of the couches. Her smile came back when she noticed that every couple steps she would see him turn around. When they were near the couch a loud crack of thunder startled both of them. Summer only realized a second after it had happened that Loki had wrapped on of his arms back around her. For a second, it seemed as if he was sorry for doing it, like it had scared her. "Hey, it's alright almost nothing, well apart from thunder and lightning scares me.' She said with a small laugh. Well, that wasn't entirely true, but the other thing was just drowning.
When he sat down Summer debated on whether or not to sit on his lap or pick the spot next to him. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly until the cheetah had nudged it's head in his direction. Her eyebrows came back up and a smile came to her face. So, she sat down on his lap with her back resting against the arm of the couch and her legs taking up residence on the other part of the couch. Even though it may not look comfy, it actually really was. Her hands started to play with the fabric that was his shirt. She blushed when she had been doing this for after a couple seconds.
Summer found herself doing that quite often. But, usually it was tracing the tattoos on her forearm, wrist, or ankle. It was almost never someone else. Summer's mind was going through the possibility of going to the dorms, but didn't know a different way out than the one that had thunder and lightning by it, and there was no way that that was happening. She just wanted to go to a dorm in hopes of warmth and light. Granted, it was warm with her sitting on him, but she wanted her entire body warm. Without really realizing she said it out loud, she thought and said, "I wish there was some way to get to the dorms." Her eyes flew open when she had realized she said it out loud.
Summer bit the inside of her lip and looked down, staring intently at her hands. She had a huge blush going that she really did not want him to see right now. Her eyes followed the stitching on the shirt while her hands traced it. She brought up on of her jacket sleeves a tiny bit. Revealing the yin-yang that was on her wrist. Her hands left his shirt and her left hand went to her right wrist and started tracing the pattern that was there. Her head absentmindedly rested against his shoulder so that she was close to the crook of his neck. While her right hand just stayed on his arm.

Loki smiled as he watched Summer play with the edges of his shirt. He thought to him self about getting somewhere warm and somewhere less infested by thunder and lightning. He held her close as she rested her head on his chest. He smiled warmly taking deep breaths to calm down the lynx inside of him that was snarling at the thunder protectively.
He held that smile on his face as he started to play with her hair twirling it around his fingers then un-twirling it. He smiled at her then purred lightly kissing her head. He leaned back on the couch getting comfy then wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close and cuddling her. He purred gently as he held her close unsure of what to say or ask. Then he imagined something that made him chuckle.
He imagined them both in their shifted forms playing like felines do with each other. He imagined her gorgeous sleek cheetah play fighting with his small but strong lynx. Then he imagined something them running together he knew she would beat him if they raced no questions asked. He knew for a fact there was no faster cat then the cheetah. Heck, there was no faster land animal period. He laughed aloud imagining his lynx trying to out run her cheetah, it was rather amusing to imagine.
He smiled down at her liking the thought of them being together, in a relationship as more then just friends. Seeing them as a couple made him smile more then he had in a long time. He had fallen rather quickly for her but he didn't mind to much he actually kind of liked it. He looked down at her coming back to reality his lynx now asleep and dreaming. Summer was so pretty but Loki wasn't quite sure how to tell her this. He wasn't sure how to tell her that he had had a rather large crush on her already.
He took a deep breath and finally spoke "Summer, I need to tell you something. I like you. And as more then a friend as like a crush. I was thinking maybe sometime we could go out to dinner or something sometime..if you want to that is.". He blinked a few times in surprise that he had actually told her how he had felt. He felt kind of warm inside at this point but he liked it even though it was new and odd for him.

Summers cheetah had been snarling and growling like no other. As Summer was trying to figure out why, it dawned on her that it might be protectiveness over Loki. Summer smiled at this and began trying to soothe the cheetah by slightly deeper breaths. As she was doing that Loki began holding her closer. So she did what she thought and leaned into him more the closer he pulled her. When she felt his lips kiss her head the cheetah stopped growling and snarling and paid attention to what Summer would do. When she just pulled herself closer to him, the cheetah turned it's attention back to the thunder and lightning. Summer started to laugh about this as the cheetah usually did get bored easily.
As Summer leaned up against him, she thought about what he might look like in his lynx form. She smiled a little bigger when she she thought about them running and playing around. If he couldn't nearly keep up with her than she would most likely slow down so that they would be able to run right next to each other. She was fairly certain that a lynx was a little stronger than her in her cheetah form. So, she knew that she wouldn't beat him at that. She laughed when she thought about them wrestling on the floor. Her smile only grew wider as the cheetah started to gain interest in her thoughts and rolled it's eyes at another feline beating it.
As Summer came back to the present, she heard Loki. She picked her head of his shoulder so that she could look him in the face easier. " I think I like that idea." She said with a smile on her face. She continued to look at him wondering what she should do next. She leaned a little bit closer, closing the distance between them by centimeters, then inches. Until she was less than a couple inches away. "You know I actually like that idea quite a lot." She said right before she put her lips to his.
(( it's ok. Sorry if it isn't as long it was done on my iPod so I wasn't really able to judge how long it is))

Summer smiled as he pulled away for a second. He looked like he was trying to think about what he should do next. The cheetah was now looking away from the thunder and all thoughts of hating the lightning and thunder were slowly slipping away from it. it was now more focused on the two beings that it could watch from the back of Summer's mind. She bit her bottom lip and looked at his eyes when he got within inches of her face again. Her eyes closed as she felt his lips come against hers. She sighed deeply when he started to pull away again. The cheetah and Summer were both really content. Summer put her head up against his chest wondering where all of this might lead to. Before she could give it a second thought she heard him speak. "Thank you.”
Summer put her arms around his neck and lifted her head off his chest. Her eyes met his once again and she gave him a small peck on the lips. When she came back, she bit her lower lip. Wondering what to do next. ”There’s no need to be thankful. But, you are welcome.” She let her had fall back against him. Summer let out a little purr when Loki pulled her closer. Her smile became a bit bigger. The cheetah was growing evermore protective to Loki the closer they got. Summer laughed slightly when she figured this out. ” The thunder and lightning are a lot further away now do you wanna go dance outside?" Summer waited a couple moments to answer. She felt really warm and safe in Loki’s arms.
”Come on lynx boy.” She said with a smile. “Let’s go. With the thunder finally far enough away, and the lightning, just flashes in the distance, now is the perfect time.” Regretfully, she untangled herself from his arms, but grabbed his hand once she was standing. She gave a slight tug on his hand as if asking him to stand up. The rain was only a slight drizzle right now, and she just couldn’t wait to get outside. Yes, the cheetah was sort of anxious about it, but with Loki still here, it seemed to calm it down. As she waited for him to stand up, she thought about whether or not the lynx felt hatred towards water. She assumed it would. Summer started thinking back to her previous relationships. Am I taking this one too fast. But that thought was in her head no longer than a second before the cheetah snapped a fast reply. No. Don’t think that. He is someone that could seems to really like you. And I can tell you like him just as much. Loki pulled her back into his arms lightly growling at the storm that raged outside. He knew that something bad was gonna happen. This was no average storm, not at all. He couldn't help but wonder to himself"Why am i so protective so quickly...am i taking this to fast?" He sighed and shook it of as he felt the thunder shake the building around them or was it the wind. He whispered "I'm sorry i thought it had passed over.". Loki sighed and remembered they were on an island and that could have been more then a storm, it was a hurricane.
Loki bit his lip then asked"What do you know about hurricanes?" He sighed and gently kissed the top of her head. His Lynx growled at him"Are you insane Loki, you know that she likes you and that you like her and about the storm out side you're right it is a hurricane." Loki bit his lip thinking "Damn it!I don't know what to do in a hurricane, let alone where to hide to stay safe." He wasn't sure what to do or say, he almost felt weak because he didn't know what to do and he wanted to keep his promise.
He looked out the windows and saw what the weather was doing , he gently pulled Summer away from the windows in case they shattered. He inhaled deeply trying to ignore the thunder that was ponding all around them. Suddenly there was a strong gust of wind and there was a loud crack. He looked out side and saw that where a tree used to stand was only half a tree. The wind started to worry him if it was strong enough to break trees he knew they wouldn't be leaving the lounge anytime soon.
Not that he had a problem with that he was happy with where they were. She was safe in his arms and for some reason that made him feel safe to and made his mind relax. He exhaled and smiled softly holding her close hoping that all his other friends were okay. He bit his lower lip unsure of what to do or say so he started humming an old lullaby that his mother used to sing to him to calm him when storms would hit. He relaxed as much as he could and held her close humming a soft lullaby.

((I will put it in codes when I go on my comp tomorrow. Right now I am on my iPod. ))
Summer cringed against him when she heard the wind break a tree in half. Her eyes looked outside the windows with worry. She thougt thunder and lightning where bad, but this seemed so much worse. "Well if this is a hurricane. I now know that they suck very much." She said with a smile and laugh trying to get herself to lighten up a little bit. She leaned more into him once he had moved them away from the windows. Her head went under his chin and she closed her eyes as he started to hum.
Summer let herself slowly drift off. Going into a state of being awake but semi asleep. The cheetah was very surprised to see that Summer was able to do this in the middle of a storm. After a couple minutes her eyes opened and she looked around. She made the mistake of looking out the window just as the wind ripped a tree out of the dirt. Her eyes widened when she saw the tree fly a couple hundred feet before landing almost right next to one of the benches in the park. "So what do you know about them?"
She didn't know why but even in amonst all this crazyness from the storm. She get oddly comforted by being in Loki's arms. Even if she had only known him for a bit. She was quite happy that a storm did happen. Or else they might not of gotten this close this fast. She looked up at him from where her head was under his chin. "You know Loki. I am kind if happy for this storm to have of happened."
