Skii Is a hard working girl who loves the theater.She Wants to be on Broadway not just her as a character but what she writes, too. Skii is always writing plays and stories many where one of the girl only sings and never dances.. An character just for her. She always gets brainstorms at the weirdest moments and if she doesn't have paper around, (which oddly happens a lot) She writes on her arms.
When Skii isn't writing or acting she is outside in a tree and even then she is writing. The only time she really can't write is when she is swimming. She also loves doing both these things from her animal instincts. the one thing she can't stand doing is running which cuts out most sports for her which she doesn't mind because she is always on stage anyways.
Skii is also always looking for ways to help her better her writing which is why she loves that she can shift. She finds that being able to be an animal helps her have new perspectives on thing. Another way she loves to do that helps with her writing is Read! Skii will read anything. This is one time not to disturb her because although she is not afraid to speak out she also gets angry very easily.
Skii blames her anger issues on her shifting but really they came from her father. She can't stand anyone who lies, like her father. She can't stand people who don't speak up either. She finds them frustrating and dumb, Like her father. Skii has lots of daddy issues, but the one way she seems to be able to calm down is by cleaning. Once Skii begins to clean she calms down. She always cleaned with her older sisters. Another thing that calms her down and that she likes doing is messing with her hair. Yes, she knows it's weird but her hair is her favorite thing about her. It is quite odd but she can't help it.
Other things that seem to drive Skii mad are parties. Mostly because parties thrive on the people and things she hates. One: Parties attract trouble makers. Those kids who think it would be funny to go and drink and drive or to shift in front of humans. (Kids like that always die in her books and plays.) Two: Shy people are easy to spot. You can just see all the UNsocial butterflies moping around to scared to talk to anyone. Three: Couples! people who are in love at the moment locking lips and making goo-goo eyes at each other. That is the weakest part of Skii's writing her romantic relationships. She just doesn't understand how who people can only rely on each other to move on in the world. She finds it quite disgusting. Then last but not least Four: Parties remind Skii She can't dance. Not being able to dance makes her sooo angry and seeing every one who can dance just makes Skii want to storm away from the whole scene. The only good thing about parties is that she knows there will always be a mess after wards.
Most people find it hard to be friends with Skii. she is very straight forward and hard working. She barely has time for friends anyways. Skii will never lie. She hates liers so much and can't sand lying herself. She will tell a person like it is. Skii has no problem with telling a fellow actor they suck or a writer their story has no plot. Another thing that most shifters don't like is her one big idea. skii plans to write a book called My Shift. All about whats happening on the island and everything about shifting. She might even make it a musical.

Skii has a darker complexion being very tan. Her build is slender, her weight staying around 110 to 115. She is curveless. None. She doesn't have any curves, shes like a stick. Along with her dark skin comes her deep brown eyes. These are one of the things that stay the same when she shifts into her ocelot. also, when she is an ocelot the spots in her pelt are the same color as her dark hair.
Skii's favorite thing is her hair. It is always different. Her favorite way to wear it though, is down and slightly curled. Her brown almost black hair reaches right past her shoulder when worn naturally. The one thing Skii refuses to do (Even to get into character for a play) is dye or cut her hair. She believes her hair is perfect the way it is and wants it to grow as long as possible. She loves the creamy black/brown color of her hair and couldn't stand to loose it.
When Skii is seen out in public she is usually dressed up. Skii is almost never found in jeans. She will wear black slacks with a nice dress shirt. She does sometimes wear black brimmed glasses although her eyesight is okay. She does need them to read small print...and she thinks it makes her look more sophisticated.
Skii makes sure to dress to be modest. (Not that she has much to show off on either in) She believes that what she gets should be based on her talents and hard work not on her looks. She doesn't wear over dramatic make up. She will for an audition or to go see a show put on eye shadow and lip gloss. Other wise she only wears chap stick (Though she does use the kind that shimmers...) and on a good day eye liner.
When Skii is found in her room working on a script or climbing a tree she does wear jeans and her favorite tee-shirts. These tee-shirts would include any of her show shirts and her musical shirts. Skii has two musical shirts she cherishes. She wears them the nights before one of her shows opens. They are of her favorite musicals, Wicked and Annie Get your Gun. Otherwise strictly professional look...
When Skii shifts into her ocelot a scar messes with her coat. but is barely noticeable when she is human. When Skii is an ocelot the creamy brown of her hair malts into the color of the spots and stripes that scatter her pelt. She is on the smaller side for an ocelot. Her weight is barely pushing the 25 range. Her ocelot body is slim just like her human body and her eyes the same deep brown. The scar on her shoulder is the one thing that stands out when Skii has shifted. The hair around it goes every which way and does not lay flat. Her shoulder blades already slightly protrude but the white scar brings all the attention to them.

Marry and Wall were high school sweethearts though Marry was a human from the island and Wall from the shifting Academy. They were married right out of high school and Marry was heavily pregnant with their first child, Marian. The thing is after Marian was born wall began to loose interest in her. He started to nag her on her weight (even though she was very skinny even for having a kid) The only thing Marry could think to do was give Wall another kid. Soon she was pregnant with Reed. Wall became overjoyed with the fact of having a boy. He saw lots of potential in Reed. Wall would even say he saw himself in Reed.
This excited Wall that Reed was so much like him for one reason. Wall carried the shifting gene and could only imagine the provabilities he would have with a shifting child. Marry was happy her husband was happy and even though money was tight with having two children she thought the only way to keep Wall around was to keep having children. Less than a year after Reed was born Marry was again pregnant with a child.
When Marry had Faira nothing happened between her and Wall if anything their relations got worse. Wall was spending all his time with Reed his perfect little boy that he couldn't keep a job. Marry was beginning to stress on how they were going to keep their house and eat that she barely realized she was pregnant again. Marian was five, Reed was three, and Faira a little over two years. Marry didn't noticed she was pregnant with Skii until Wall began to nag her about her weight again.
Marry had to quit her part time job when she realized she was pregnant with Skii though she didn't want too. At that time it was their only income though it barely bought them diapers. Marry had many troubles when she was pregnant with Skii. For one she was being totally ignored by Wall and she knew he had began cheating on her with girls eight teen, maybe even younger. She was only 22 but having three kids made her look thirty. The only way Marry could feel better about herself was drink, alcohol. She didn't care that it would hurt her baby she just wanted to feel better. Surprisingly this didn't hurt Skii though all the drinking she did should have.
Once Skii was born Marry once again was praised by Wall. He began to take attention to Skii. Mostly because she looked so much like him... He could almost feel the shifting gene in her. Marry was now so confused she knew that Wall loved their children, but he only too interest in Reed and Skii. Marry Began to rebel against Wall when he showed so much attention to the two children and almost none to her. Wall was so caught up with Reed (who is now 4) and Skii (Who is only one) that he told Marry to get a job... He would be a stay at home parent.
Marry was so mad at him that she found a job... being a prostitute. She sold herself to the night and kept her money to herself only spoiling Marian (6) and Faira (3). She soon became pregnant again but this time not by Wall by one of her costumers. Marry, though, had made her drinking problem worse. She figured that since Skii had done well with her "problem" to continue drinking with this baby was fine. Marry unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you see it because who wants to live in this mess) miscarried the little girl she had named Talia. This caught Wall's attention in a bad way though. That night they not only found out that Marry had miscarried but that she shouldn't have any more children. That night Wall hit her for the first time. Smack right across the face.
Now, Wall had never told Marry about his ability to shift. e had gone to e academy and such but he had bigger plans for his shifting children. He wanted an army and he wanted to steal money from banks and o anything nasty with his shifting children that he could think of. So, He married Marry to give him Shifting children with out that she was nothing to him he almost divorced her right there that night instead he needed her to raise his human children and keep them around just in case they shifted too...
Wall began a search for another pretty fertile girl preferably younger. It took Wall two years to find who he was looking for , Jenny. She was twenty,six years younger then Wall and Marry. She didn't know Wall was married and had four kids. She knew about Reed (6) and Skii (3) because they were his pride and joys. They of course got together while he was married to Marry and had a son Carter. Wall was over joyed he believed carter also carried his shifting gene (Though he doesn't). He was going to tell Marry it was over right then when she dropped him a bomb-shell... She was pregnant too.
Marry and Wall had been having many troubles at their house. Wall would come home from his "job" (being off with Jenny) and beat Marry. Marry knew no one else so she stayed not that the beating mattered she could barely feel it because she was so drunk. Even though things were so bad the two had fallen into such a pattern leaving each other was impossible. Plus having another baby made both Wall and Marry excited! So, both of them stayed together.
Wall tried to be better to Marry during this pregnancy. He stopped beating her and wished for another boy with a shifting gene. He still didn't know If Skii and Reed were shifters but figured they were but he had always wanted three. A team of three. The reason Wall had pulled aside Skii and Reed were because they reminded hi of himself. HE had grown up in the Academy and wanted something different for his shifting children. He wanted to use them to gain power in the world. He was training them for crime as soon as he could.
Wall waited to see who would pop first Jenny or Marry he saw both of them every day. He stayed clean and sober giving nothing away. The first one to give birth was Marry but during labor there were many complications. She wasn't suppose to have anymore children and died giving birth. She gave birth to a girl looking nothing like Wall so he put the baby off planning to marry Jenny. Little does he know that she carries the gene unlike carter, the baby Jenny had. Carter does not carry the shifting gene but looks like Reed and Skii and Wall.
Wall told Jenny he was ready to marry her and of course she would have done anything for him. She moved into his hose where Marry had lived and learned there were four other kids and another new born baby. Jenny took the children with a smile. And was kept busy with the two babies and the two older children she learned Wall ignored.
Wall began to really work with Reed on fighting when he turned to be eight years old. Wall had now planned what part each of his shifting children would play. He believed he had three super children and he did he just chose one wrong. He was making Reed his fighter Skii the smart one and carter the secret weapon. wall had started bringing carter in on the lesson now and left Jenny with the other children. It was better now that Marian (10) and Faira (7) were going to school in the morning and Jenny only really had to look after Nalia(2).
Wall had decided to home school his favorites and you could see how warped he was making them. Reed started believing everything his father told him. He was the making of a a criminal and it shown in his eyes for the next few years it got worse and once Reed turned ten Wall promised him the two of them would start wit h little crimes but would have to wait for Skii to get older for the real fun to start.
Skii started seeing that her father was crazy early on at five. The one good thing about being a favorite was that she got extra education. This is when theater became her life. Her father taught her at a fast pace and wanted her to be so smart but he also wanted her to be a master of disguise. He quickly enrolled her in acting classes so she could become different characters easily. Skii loved it. She took to the stage wonderfully and this pleased her father but she wasn't doing it for him. She studied for him and everything else but the stage was hers.
Once Reed became ten Skii(7) saw a lot less of her father and learned more about her older sisters. Marian(12) could play the piano perfectly and loved classical music. Faira was a math wiz who was put into a grade higher in school because she was so smart. She also saw all the chores that had to be done and how little money it seemed they had. Marian couldn't take piano lesson and Faira couldn't go o this camp that had invited her because she was so smart because money was so low. Skii learned that Jenny worked full time now that Carter and Nalia were four and Faira and Marian could look after them by themselves.
When Wall and Reed went out on escapades Skii made sure to help her older sisters with everything she could. This is where she got her passion for cleaning. Skii had loads of fun being a regular kid with her sisters. She didn't know why her father didn't like them. When she was with her sisters she learned about friendship and public school. She was really only exposed to other theater people and most of them didn't want to be her friend because she was always in the lead role. Other wise she only knew her father and Reed.
When Wall and Reed came back from whatever they were doing Reed would always show off his new scars and bruises to Skii. She would then ask where they came from but never got a straight answer. Him and wall would just look at each other. This went on for the year Reed was ten and Skii was seven. Then around Marian's 13th birth day Wall began to suspiciously take an sudden liking in her. He still taught Skii and Reed and Carter now too. Though he let Marian come out and play piano for him and such. This didn't last long for after a week or so she turned thirteen he sent her away again like she was trash.
Once Reed turned twelve. Wall sent Skii(9) to a private school. One because he had taught her everything he knew and he wanted time alone with Reed. Wall had also sent Carter off to public school with Nalia then now both being six. Plus Jenny had another child Lilian and had to quit her job.to take care of her. There was no money coming in but some how Jenny kept everything running close to smoothly.
Then on Reeds Thirteenth birth day which Skii was forced to come home too something went terribly wrong. Reed did shift that day and of course he went berserk. Wall was ready for him and locked himself in the house letting Reed run wild on the family out side. What Wall didn't know was that Jenny was terribly afraid of animals and was a good shot. So once she found the first fire arm (which happened to but in Wall's car..) and she shot the shifted Reed killing him.
Wall quickly ran outside to see what he had heard. He looked at his dead prodigy and quickly made a lie about not being able to find Reed. To this day everyone believes Reed ran away.
After that the special schooling and planning stopped. Wall stayed away from the house. He was never around and couldn't keep down a job. He was only there around the months of his children's Thirteenth birthdays. He would come and put them into a room he built called the birthday room which they were never to speak pf. Faira was the first to go in. Like Wall predicted she didn't change.
Skii finally got to go to public school, which she found out she didn't like. She had to quite acting lessons and outside theater performances. She had fallen in love with musical and thankfully the school she went to had an okay Drama department. The one thing she wished for was dancing lessons. She was awkward when she moved and felt like a weirdo. (Though she is better than some of the other kids who were at the school she went to but still not that good.) Though now with out all the theater stuff filling her schedule Skii learned her real passion writing. When she was practicing or acting she was writing.
Then It came to Skii's thirteenth birthday. For months Wall had been home to watch her. She was put in the "birthday" room for weeks. This is when she had time to reflect on what her father had stated to teach her and her brother when she was young. Skii had thought about this before but she was locked in the room with nothing to do and no pen or paper to do anything with and was going insane.
When Wall checked on her he sighed and mumbled under his breath. He didn't seem happy but he wasn't disappointed either. He just shook his head and was off before night fall. This is when Skii began really to reflect back on when she was younger. Hate began to brew as she wrote down her childhood. She was sure her father had done something to her brother but didn't know what. For the rest of that year she used the little she remembered of the things her father taught her about snooping to check up on her past and found out about the shifting school.
Nearing her fourteenth birthday Skii was ready to confront him on everything. She didn't know that Jenny had killed Reed but she was pretty sure Wall knew what was going on. He was coming home on her fourteenth birthday but something went terribly wrong.
When Skii awoke that morning she felt terribly sick. she went outside to get some fresh air and maybe climb a tree. When she got outside she collapsed to the ground and gasped for air. Her Father was pulling up in the drive way and saw and figured out what was happening. He ran inside hoping it wasn't to late for him to get her in the "birthday" room. He told the Family to have fun outside in the front yard while he went to surprise Skii but when he got back she was already far into shifting.
Skii felt her bones popping and her head started to spin. It was awful.She couldn't see a thing because of the light outside but she felt every moment of it. The time she grew her tail to hair growing all over her body. With out thinking she sprinted off to the first tree she found. Skii climbed it with ease using four feet.. paws and a her claws.
Then she saw her father... She was still so freaked out about what was happening that she leaped sharp claws at him first. Skii's teeth were at her fathers neck before she knew what she was doing. Wall was ready though. He had his knife ready and cut her deep in her shoulder. A yowl parted Skii's new lips startling herself. she leaped back but Wall caught her quickly putting a muzzle on her mouth and looking at her wound he caused her.
Wall didn't look to good either. He was cover ed in claw marks.Wall quickly tied up Skii the ocelot and put her in his car to take her once she shifted back to the hospital for stitches. He also called in some favorers to send her to the school he had once been to. Now that's were she is the Shifting Academy.

Skii has many similarities with the ocelot she shifts in to. For one, when she shifts many of her physical traits stay with the shift. Her brown almost black hair blends into her pelt and is the same color as the spots and stripes that are scattered across her body. Also When Skii shifts she stays slim and her brown eyes complete her look. Other things that make her like an ocelot are the activities she likes to do. Skii loves to be up high in trees and climbing is one of Ocelots favorite pass time. One more thing would be that she loves to swim. Even though ocelots are cats they still like oddly swimming.

Skii had waited for a day like this for a long time. She had absolutely nothing to do! Of course, being Skii she had the whole day planned. She first went to do her hair. The stupidest thing she could have fun doing but she loved it. It took her an hour... and a half to decide on a a curly, side pony tail. She then went to pick out her outfit. For that day she hyad planned to go outside and write in a tree. Then later to swim. She found her usual dressy pants and put them on. They were black with white pen stripes that were barely noticable. Skii then chose a a classy but casual sparkley black tank top that showed off her scar.
Skii grabbed her notebook and pencils on her way to her door. She looked around making sure everything was in it's place and of course it was. Skii had made sure to clean it all last night.She smiled and looked at her shoes that were placed in a perfect line at her door. Skii figured heels were out for climbing and she didn't own flip flops and she would wouldn't be caught dead in her tennis shoes outside. So, she chose a pair of black flats she would most likely kick off her feet when she climbed the tree.
Skii took one last look at the room and made sure she had her pencils and paper in hand before she left. She took a nice walk down to where the tree's were and jotted down Ideas as she walked. She barely looked up from her notebook and then basically ran into a tree. Thud! her notebook hit the ground and her paper and pencils went flying.She picked up her notebook It was safe just a little dusty. When she went to look for her pencil it was gone and she couldn't find it! Luckily, She had another safely secured in her pocket.
Skii looked up at the tree she bumped into and thought it was a perfect tree for climbing. Skii kicked off her shoes and tucked her notebook under her arm. She easily shimmied up the tree and sat on one of the top branches. Skii looked out over the land and had an intense brainstorm. She started to write down the beginning of a story and... SNAP" the lead breaks of her pencil.

"Oh my God! I need a pencil!" Skii screamed and went to grab her other pen she had brought. Yet it happened to be out of ink. Skii let out a yowl again and jumped from the branch she was on. She landed on her hands and knees unharmed. Her pants did get pretty dirty though. She stood up brushing off what she could on her pants with her hands. Then Skii took off in a sprint back to where the pencils would be. Leaving her shoes and notebook behind. [/size]
