Do you think that we could have shifters that do not attend the school? For example, students that have graduated.

Well they'd probably either have to work at the school (as a teacher or other staff member) or live on The Other Island as a human. But I don't see why not.
I'm not an admin or mod though so I don't have final say...

Not to sound like the douche of the site or anything, but I think it very well depends on what you plan on doing with the character. A teacher would work, yes -- though young teachers are pretty rare, and rather unrealistic (though it seems to be an ongoing fad to have 23 year old profs in SA).
I don't know what other kind of "staff" there would be.
And to point out the reason for SA is to help shifters get control of themselves before shoving them out into the real world... so perhaps if the character is unstable? they would be forced to keep them locked and chained at the academy -__- but that's not ideal in the slightest is it?
As for living on the human island... that probably won't be allowed for obvious reasons.

I was actually wondering something similar, if graduates could live on the other island. I mean, if they've graduated from the school they'd know how secretive they'd have to be about everything, right? Would it really be that different from them living anywhere else in the world? And it might even be helpful having a few shifters on the other island in case anything happened and they could help keep the secret.

Hmm I definitely agree with Jordan that it would be helpful to have graduates on the other island... also, snooping around the site today, I realized that among other things, there's an entire mall on this island! And who works at this mall? Well probably mostly students, but every store/restaurant/mall needs managers and security and little jobs like that, so there are probably people who live on the island who have graduated, they just work here... maybe for whatever reason they want to stay close to the school...
