Her smile only grew bigger as she watched him slowly come to out of his daze from singing. She was happy, not just to be happy but happy for him also. “I really did like it Ryland, you did wonderful.” She said softly to him and nodded again in the same matter of fact way she used before. Now if only she could gather such courage to dance in front of him, maybe she could? Thinking about it made her stomach do flips though, and also the possibility of her tripping and falling didn’t help either. Sadly she wasn’t as brave as Ryland was. She took in a deep breath and turned a bright pink again. “S-Since you sang for me, I’ll dance for you…” Her voice sounded almost breathless like she had been walking the highest stair case all day. Slowly she stepped back and took in a deep breath and easily stood on her tip toes, her left leg she had picked up and bent upward so she could start to spin around, her arms her help out, the only time when she moved her left leg was to move it out so she could move again.
She would only do a snippet of her dancing simply because she was nervous to do that in front of him. She slowly stopped herself gracefully and kept her feet together, she chewed on her lower lip and looked at him. “That’s only a bit of what I can do…” She said softly, and gave a smile. What would he think? Would he stand here and laugh at her? Would he just be bored out of his mind? Yeah most guys thought ballet was totally silly, but she loved it. She loved it almost as much as turning into a horse. Noella’s face perked up when he mentioned boyfriend and she sadly shook her head. “No, I don’t…. guys don’t like me like that.” She said simply and looked away again, more so at the clock that was hanging on the other side of the room, it was getting close to lunch, besides looking at the time her stomach gave a loud growl, she was hungry. Way to ruin the moment tummy.

Ryland was happy when she reassured him that she really did like it. So she was just saying it to make him feel better. But his teacher complimented him sometimes too when he was at his voice lesson. She also slightly strict, though, especially if he did something wrong. It wasn't exactly easy trying to make your voice sound better. He smiled.
"Thanks. It really means a lot for someone to compliment my singing."
Ry hadn't expected her to say she would dance for him and the look on his face was one of surprise. He started to stop her, so that she would know that just because he sang for her, didn't mean she had to show him her dancing. But before he could even say anything, or even think of what to say, she had started. He was in awe watching her dance. Maybe it would sound stupid for him saying it, but it was great.
"Um...wow." At first it was the only thing that came out when she stopped. But he thought he should emphasize. "I mean...that was amazing. You're very talented."
He admitted, if he saw a guy doing ballet, he would probably laugh. Girls looked more natural doing it. It wasn't just the clothes that were worn, but the moves. They just weren't for guys in his opinion. If that was only a small taste of what she could do, he was eager to find out what else she knew. But he didn't want to go that far. She had barely allowed herself to show him that much, and it seemed to be in a sense of returning the favor.
“No, I don’t…. guys don’t like me like that.”
His eyes widened and he laughed. She wasn't serious, surely. I mean she was shy, but he bet once people got to know her... She was pretty, he was sure of that. And she seemed to be a person that would be fun to hang around, from what he saw with her opening up to him just a bit.
He stopped laughing. "Sorry, I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I just can't believe that guys don't want to date you. I don't understand why they wouldn't."
Ry didn't think this was one of those times where it was "just him." Maybe guys did want to date her and she just didn't see it. Or maybe she had formed an opinion of herself that didn't allow her to see it or to think that someone would want to date her. Maybe because of her shyness or something. He noticed her looking at something and turned his head to look too. It was the clock.
"Do you have somewhere to be? I don't want to hold you up or anything."
